Had it all been a dream, but it had all felt so real. The sounds, the images, the smells, but now all she could sense was her small house back at the camp. Something felt so out of place now, hesitantly she opened the rickety door and the camp was empty. The silence seemed to choke her throat, her breathing became hard and forced. Em closed her eyes only to appear again suspended in a pool of water, drowning as she tried pulling her body up. But all she could feel was falling deeper into this ocean, her eyes seemed to pour tears that she couldn't feel in the water. And the blood curdling scream for help only chocked her.
Her eyelids heavily lifted, she was moving but her legs were still as metal, and there was a warm body beneath her. Her eyes closed again, they had no will to stay awake.
