Completely unaware of where he was or what he was now doing, Gant unsurprisingly and unceremoniously had the turds scared out of him by a man that approached him from behind. He shouted something along the lines of 'oh crap', except notably more incomprehensible, before he froze up and landed on his side. After quivering for a few moments in a scrunched-up ball and receiving quite a few odd looks from passerbys, Gant recovered enough to unsteadily stagger to his feet. "Ah, sorry about that," He apologized as he stuck out an arm to catch his balance on the wall. "Must have given you quite a scare from that there, eh?"

Looking around again for a moment, Gant turned back to the man to say, "And sorry, yeah, I am a bit lost here. It's a pretty big building they've got, eh?" By then, Gant had caught his balance and didn't look like a lost drunkard. Well, he was still quite lost. But nonetheless, he suddenly slapped his forehead when he remembered something important. "Ah, right. Sorry. I forgot to introduce myself because of my, er, panic attack." Standing slightly taller as he said his title, Gant stated his uniform. "My name's Gant Blanc, a Warrant Officer of the Canadian Army."
Gant wasted no time making his way to the building after passing through security. "I'm going to be late, eh?" He said to himself as he looked down at his brass pocket-watch with a sigh. He really could have skipped breakfast, but he really wasn't too fond of meal replacement bars; they taste like the pellets you'd feed parrots, only if it were compacted into a small brick and covered in chocolate in a futile attempt to make itself more appealing towards humans. Furthermore, he was afraid that the peanut butter on his breath would cause someone to die from an allergic reaction. No way was he risking that.

Tucking the well-polished device back into the pocket of his new, white-gloved uniform, Gant stopped in his track when he heard the P.A. system go off. Not knowing where on earth(or, more specifically, in the building) the briefing room was, Gant began to panic slightly. Thoughts rapidly flowed through his head as he thought about his situation more. "I'm lost, I can't even read this floor plan, which way do I go...." And then his brain shorted out, leaving him just standing in the middle of the hallway as he looked around, an occasional "uhh" coming out of him.
Finished up my CS.
Yaaawwwn....

A rather tired-looking boy yawned as he meandered down the street towards the DenTech School, headphones from the 20XX's hung around his neck. "Dang," Lefel said, sighing as he looked up to the clouds lazily drifting by. "Today would have been great for just sitting in the park, but we reeaallly can't miss my first day of school." Coming from one of the poorer areas, Lefel didn't have schooling -- nor a P.E.T. -- for his earlier years, and had been mostly learning from library e-books up until that point. "Well," a familiar voice said with a slightly upbeat tone. "You already know the stuff, so at least you won't get bombarded with work!" Some of his disappointment lifted, Lefel laughed quietly and responded, "Yeah, I guess you're right there, Windy!"

Nonetheless, it really was a bit annoying compared to his past schedule of just goofing off until noon. Nonetheless, it beat running around to do jobs for people for four some hours of the day. But regardless, he wanted to do this for a while, so Lefel would have stuck with it anyways. At the same speed as when he started, Lefel walked towards the school entrance.
Changed 2 Escape for 2 Double Crack.
Name: Gant "Lucky" Blanc

Rank: Warrant Officer

Nationality/Branch of Service: Canadian Army

Gender: M

Age: 20

Personality: Gant is very collected, and shows no fear in the face of kaiju that would make most cower.... But then, he tends to get scared by just about everything else. Like dark places and puddles. He tends to get panic attacks if you surprise him, which happens pretty much whenever you try to get his attention from behind. Fear-related issues aside, Gant is unfalteringly kind to all beings. Though he still believes that the kaiju shouldn't simply be killed, Gant fully understands and accepts why it's necessary to stop them. He tends to end his questions and opinions with 'Eh?' and sometimes wonders whether no brown M&Ms should be put in the candy packs.

Brief Bio: Though Gant was always rather faint-hearted in his childhood, he still aspired to become a soldier. Eventually, Gant was taken in and trained. However, he wasn't given much time to rest; a kaiju was sighted nearby, and his squad leader had been assigned to the task of taking it down. As they drove there, Gant witnessed the trail of carnage the creature left in its wake. As he pondered how and why the monster would have done any of those things, the car his squad was riding in suddenly launched into the air, bouncing before eventually landing in a construction zone.

Upon recovering from the impact, Gant saw that his team was either pinned under the wrecked vehicle, or trying to get the incapacitated out. Hearing the sounds of the monster's approach, Gant weighed his few options. Choosing one of the more dangerous choices, he charged out of cover and started shooting at the kaiju. As it chased him, it spat out a corrosive substance that managed to splash onto his left shoulder, causing injuries that still affect him today. While Gant would have died, his energy draining from the injury, a huge iron beam suddenly crashed down onto the creature.... Which caused it to crash into Gant, breaking both of his legs. When he was finally freed from the kaiju's body and taken to the hospital, the doctors came across a shocking conclusion: both his legs, though unbelievably shattered, would make an amazing recovery. His shoulder retained some of the damage, but he'd still be able to use it fairly well.

Everyone unanimously dubbed him "Lucky" when Gant decided to return to service, and actually survived a similar encounter with yet another kaiju; this time, there were two fangs lodged in him. While most people just simply called him "crazy" for returning a third time, Gant gladly did so. However, this time, he was getting paired up with a new squad. Gant volunteered for the White Gloves; they figured that he'd be just as hard to get rid of as in his past missions.
No clue on plot, but I think it'd be good to have unrest slowly grow.

... Well, good story-wise. Not so much for the world's inhabitants.

As for characters, there's obviously not going to be eight people from the same clan running around. Rank-wise, most of the characters(if not all) will probably end up being between Genin and Jounin.
I'll get the bullets.
Like an actual video game character!

On a side note, here are the chips I'll be using.
By research, do you mean looking at a wiki, or watching a bunch of anime episodes?
