Promise I haven't disappeared. Been lurking and a working on my cs. Wall-walking, gravity-shifting naive do-gooder coming up.
I've got another idea for a young gravity shifting character. Runs and walks on walls. Throws himself around to fight. I can't wait.
Thinking of a support center character based around this description of distance(spatial) manipulation.

"User can create, shape and manipulate distance; a numerical description of how far apart objects are. In physics or everyday discussion, distance may refer to a physical length, or an estimation based on other criteria (e.g. "two counties over"). In mathematics, a distance function or metric is a generalization of the concept of physical distance.

Thus the user is able to manipulate how far objects are from each other, regardless of the other objects around them. For example: user can make two objects touch each other from different sides of the room, without having to move them; this could potentially allow one to bypass in-between obstacles. The user can also apply this to the surrounding structures, such as making a hallway potentially never ending, or reducing a gigantic room into a cramped space."

Depending on the upward limits you wish to impose, I can take this power to some pretty gnarly places.
My interest has been piqued. Let the brainstorming begin!
Its all good. Its just nice to see that love for Digimon still surfaces from time to time. Ill likely lurk on this a lot.
Im currently reading the first post but couldn't wait to ask, is there still room?
Is this still open to more people. I live the idea of high fantasy that has developed into technologically advanced world.
This is intriguing. It has at the least grabbed my attention.
Agent Solomon Haims

Solomon had been diligently following news reports across the country since he had awoken earlier that morning. He wanted nothing more than to immediately know when he would get put on his first official assignment. Not that he wanted a terrible incident to happen he just wanted to work, be immersed in his duty as an agent, but thus far he had only been questioned and studied. Constantly asking him about a power he probably knew less about than they did, after numerous experiments and inquiries they seemed settled on the fact that he somehow could interact with and manipulate the metaphysical boundaries of the world and dimension around them. He had been warned that it could in fact be very dangerous to himself if he wasn't careful, nobody quite understood what limits the power would have.

After that ordeal they ordered him to stay at his home until called upon for assignment. It wasn't said or noticeably enforced but he felt like a prisoner, they treated him like a rabid dog or a dirty bomb, as things stood right now the coalition didn't trust him, and he supposed it was all the better for now because he didn't trust them yet either. "Cooped up like a damned chicken. Im sure there is more than enough that I could be doing other than sitting in this damn room." He sighed as new droned on in the background.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone so he could explore other media outlets to see if anywhere had any news out of sorts anything that could lead to him getting to work. His finger swiped the screen from news caster to caster, region to region. There were several reports of unexplained power outages in the Dakotas. Crime was definitely up almost everywhere, and unsurprisingly really. Solomon had lost faith for most of the human race, they were greedy, selfish, violent, and else wise generally apathetic to the world around them. Of course super powers became a thing and it was most obvious it was a tool for crime not justice. It honestly began to disgust him.

As he was about to close up his phone he got a text from his assigned senior agent, they were to meet at the airfield in just under and hour. Solomon instantly revved up and grabbed the few effects and articles he would need for the trip and headed for their charter. Upon arriving he found he was second and last to arrive. He settled into his seat on the highly advanced aircraft, he decided not to try and make any small talk, didn't see much of a point if it wasnt work related. Besides something about Harry seemed not the most content for the duration of the trip.

It wasnt long before they arrived in Atlanta, and as they disembarked the plane it came to Solomon's attention that he didnt really know why he was there, he was just answering the call for duty. "Agent Foltross, Im going to need you to debrief me on the situation, superiors have said nothing to me I only answered your summons to the Jet" They both walked with their few effects to the main building standing at the airfield where they arrived.

Power: Boundary Control
In order for him to use his power accurately he has to think of the exact proper conceptual boundary to manipulate. Unintended consequences often follow if he doesn't think it out at the time being.
Personality: Sol is a fairly serious man, he has seen a lot and it has led to him distancing himself from other people significantly. Only those whom he grows to respect or trust get to see the more wild, untamed side of Solomon. Solomon has anger and pain built up and sometimes under extreme conditions it can assert its self in occasionally alarming ways. Solomon greatly enjoys his job, now as an agent and previously as a marine, he found great recluse in the middle of the rush, the impending threat, the true feeling of purpose it provided in his life. He loves the adrenaline and this goes hand in hand with both the anger and the desire of the thrill, although when working he attempts to remain as professional as possible.

One very interesting thing about Sol is that he sees things in a very black and white sort of view, good vs evil, right vs wrong, there is no grey area. Oddly enough most people would say he is blind to the fact that he crosses lines, that he pushes himself into that very same grey area.

When it comes to Solomon's past, he remains sealed tight, he refuses to talk about it and can even get explosively even violently angry if prodded over the subject too much.
History: Sol was the only child of a deeply catholic household, his entire early childhood he was raised to fear and love the lord. He had overbearing caring parents, his father from a family well known for its criminal doing, his mother was just quaint baker. They pushed the faith so intensely because of his father's family's history, Sols own uncle was a convicted serial killer, and his grandfather was deep in the drug trade. His family did the best to escape the curse of their name, this went well until the year that the boy was seven. His grandfather was murdered by a competing drug syndicate. His remains were left on Solomon's families doorstep, only to be discovered by Solomon himself. The remains were only left there as a warning to his father not to pursue the business, not they they knew he wouldnt have even thought about it.

From this point on things changed, Sol's father grew bitter and lashed out at the Lord. He denounced the religion and fell into the very drugs that he hated. Sol's mother fought day and night to keep the religion in the house to save her husband, but the harder she fought the angrier the man became and he began to lash out violently at both Sol and his mother, this lasted for years. She had to stop before things had gotten any more severe, but damage was done they were all utterly broken. Once she stopped pushing, the violence waned and Sol's father was more likely to be found in drugged out stupors than anything else. When Sol was seventeen his father died of an overdose, and his mother not long after died peacefully in her sleep. Sol just took off from the world he knew, bided his time until he was eighteen and joined the marines thereafter.

The marines gave Sol a sense of belong and purpose it was the only thing he had, his unit were the only people he had. He lost himself in it, became the fearless marine they wanted him to be. He served several tours in the middle east as well as a couple into the jungles of central Africa. He served loyalty and without hesitation, vowing to himself to always dedicate himself to the fight for the right purpose.

After coming back to the US and officially stepping out of the Marines he was moved into a whole new battle, life in the real world. he found he didn't adjust well. It was quiet, boring, and far to plain for his liking, that was when he began to invest his time into more thrilling past times, he was a fan of parkour for the speed and fluidity of it, and rock climbing for the shear challenge of it.

From there on he went on to become a new agent for Coalition following the sudden appearance of super powered individuals. Then stemming the development of his own power he became the new shiny tool for the agency to use.
