 Appearance Details

Micah is a shorter but very fit man. Standing at only 5'8" and with his boyish face he is still often assumed to be younger than he is. He doesn't pay to much mind to this fact so doesn't care to try and look older. He is usually clean shaven or brushed with a light stubble. He tries to keep his hair from getting too long as its tends to be thick and hard to manage otherwise. His most common hairstyle is a shorter but messy undercut. Micah doesn't tend to keep up on regular haircuts to maintain the style, it only gets cut once it gets too long.

Micah lacks both tattoos and piercings, not for any particular reason he just never got any. Is own style is rather toned down. He doesn't wear extravagant or super expressive clothes, just what he finds comfortable and accessible. Although he is a little slim he makes sure his clothes at least fit well. Generally this consists of a variety of tees, sweaters, jeans, cargo pants, boots and sneakers.

 Personality

At the core of Micah's person he believes in service and self-sacrifice. Ever since he was little he has always been a hard worker eager to help when he was needed. He often finds it hard to ignore a needy situation even those that may not be serious. Because of his drive to help those around him he often gets caught up in other peoples business, this has caused him trouble on several occasions. He tends to be naïve about these situations, leading to people often abusing his willingness to help and sacrifice.

Micah tends to be a very content person, he doesn't ask for a lot and thus its rare to find him particularly upset or dissatisfied. However he values greatly the relationships he has with those around him, the people that choose to make him part of their lives and to spend their time with him means a lot, and Micah can get quite sentimental. This tends to be the main source of any emotional strife you'd find him expressing. Micah doesn't hide these things, he tends to be very open and often shares about himself if prompted.
 Character Synopsis

Micah was orphaned as an infant, there was no accident just a young woman who didn't think she could be a mother. Micah only sat in the orphanage for nearly a year when finally a couple happened upon this particular infant, as most stories go they say it was love at first sight. They adopted the boy immediately and took to caring for him like he was their own. Micah's adoption was never kept secret from him as he was beginning to grow, they wanted to be forthwith and honest with him. This truth was beautiful thing for his development as it strengthened his confidence in his family and his own self-confidence as he would tout that his parents chose him.

His parents were deeply involved in his life, always around supporting him and encouraging him, but still trying to always be realistic about how the world really was around them. Micah's father was a teacher of history at the local high school, while his mother was a Police officer. Together his parents fostered in him his drive to serve his community and the people around him. His father being a scholar of history was quick to share in lessons of the past. Would often talk of how much better things could have been in the past had those who owned much provided for those who owned none. His mother though was his greatest hero, every day she would put her life on the line to protect those in the neighborhood and furthering community. She understood that some jobs just need to be done for the sake of everyone else. She became Micah's later inspiration for joining the Army.

Micah officially joined the Army at the age of 17 with the permission of both his parents. He went through his training as enthusiastically as one realistically could, and was promptly set out to Iraq leading up to their final efforts in the nation. He was stationed there for nearly a year, wasn't necessarily happy with what happened while he was there and was relieved to get moved out. He was next stationed at a Naval base in the Philippines where he spent a lot of time not doing a whole lot. He wound down from being in Iraq and discovered the local martial arts and he took an interest to help fill the time outside basic duties. 

Micah's twenty-first birthday soon approaches and new opportunities with it. Eager for a change of scenery, Micah volunteers to get moved to a remote research facility to operate more or less as security for the site. The research topic is withheld from him, being told he would receive the information he did need to know at the facility itself. Micah can last remember boarding the flight, eager to be a part of something a bit different than the previous few years.

Fast forward three years to Micah disembarking a plane once again returning stateside. Cue the beginning of the end of his military service. He reported to a new base for remaining few months, the days passing like most ordinary days would, a count down to an end but yet to a new start as well. As time grew ever closer Micah began to notice holes in his memory from his time since starting at the research facility. He tried to pay it no mind as he attributed it to stress or nerves, mostly just trying to excuse it away. Though it wasn't long before the thought would be pushed from his mind by everything else to soon take up his time.

The final day of service passed and went without much of a note to be had. He took up a simple job with a contractor as he began to settle in to regular life again. Micah the worker that he was of course kept himself well overworked as he attempted to continue saving money and passing time. Micah found himself not sure what to do with his life, what to really pursue for a career. 

These thoughts of normalcy and mundane concerns were quickly shattered though when he awoke one morning, firmly planted on the ceiling as if it were the floor. After much trial and error Micah managed to bring himself to proper orientation by walking down the walls and then onto the floor from there. Through a bit further experimentation he learned he was consciously manipulating gravity. His discovery of powers was a shake up to his life and he chose to search for some answers about why and when his powers came to be. He began to look west at the growing rise of powers and settled on the location of Santa Celia, in hopes to find more like himself, some answers, and maybe try to help and provide stability in a time of shifting powers and ideas.

 

 Abilities & Skills

//Abiliites:
Gravity Manipulation | In a period of time missing from Micah's mind something happened that granted him the ability to interact with gravitational forces. Micah's primary application of his abilities is to directly affect his own personal field of gravity. By manipulating his personal gravity, Micah is able to walk and run along walls, ceilings and general move in unorthodox orientations. His control is so precise that Micah can change his orientation midair and even in combat. This makes his movements erratic and hard to predict let alone follow. By altering the pull of gravity, Micah can create an artificial 'boost' granting him the illusion of an increase in either speed or strength due to manipulation of inertia.

Interacting with objects Micah has been able to weaken gravity and lift heavy objects. On contact he as been able to tag people with his ability, this basically makes the tagged a center of gravity for other effected object the Micah throws. On the personal side he has figured out to make small objects orbit himself in an effort to try and defend himself. His only other defensive ability is to make a personal forcefield by polarizing gravitons in a tight vicinity.

On a larger scale he can shift/slant/negate the gravity in a radius of about 12-17ft. This requires more effort than most of his other abilities and thus limits his abilities to his most basic personal ones. 
	
Limitation(s) |  Micah is only capable of what you would expect of an athletic person. This only appears amplified by him changing his movements with is powers. His powers are activated entirely consciously, he wont be able to defend against attacks he doesn't see or perceive somehow, and must also have enough time to react.

Shifting of relative gravity is at most limited to a large room in size. The effort this requires limits the precision of the ability, limiting him to only being able to independently shift his own gravity while simultaneously that of the rest of the room. In order to manipulate multiple individuals they must be fairly close about 6ft away at most.

Weakness(es) | Micah is still physically a human, it is relatively easy to break his bones, to stab him or inflict other mortal injuries on him. Using his powers to defend against this must be an entirely conscious effort. Catching him off guard would be an easy way to take him down.

Any anti-gravity technology would be sure to interfere with his powers even negate them entirely.

His abilities work best in a more open area with room to maneuver. Small spaces are sure to limit his effectiveness.

//Skills:
Escrima(Kali) | Micah began learning Escrima when he was sent to the naval base in the Philippines. He focused mostly on the use of open hand and stick, while also being introduced to the knife play and the interesting use of cloth as a weapon. 

Armed Forces Training | Micah's recruit training has consisted of basic marksmanship, physical fitness training, first aid and survival techniques. Further he pursued training in the tactics concept of Close Quarters Combat.

Cooking | Micah learned young that he had a natural talent for cooking.
