Toby thought as he grabbed his things and hurried to the door, he had a shift to get too at the pawn shop and Ojii-san had promised him a gift after work for spending so much time getting everything cleaned up and organized. While he had no idea what the man had intended to give, he was really hoping that he was going to get that ancient samurai face guard Ojii-san kept behind the counter. That thing was worth twice it's weight in yen, and it would take him not eating for a month to gather up that kinda spending money even with his uncle's stipends.Ryo was being loud again about something or another as he was leaving, but then again he was always being loud about something. He instantly felt bad for the ruined structure. He couldn't help but feel that the thing must be in pain. In his distracted state he bumped into Sho and fell promptly on his butt. "tch tch tch." he rubbed the new sore spot that he landed on, "S-s-sorry! didn't see you standing there!" He quickly darted his eyes back and forth making sure nothing fell out of his backpack before jumping to his feet and bowing repeatedly.
He didn't particularly dislike the boy, he wasn't mean by any means. Yet at the same time other students in general seemed to dislike Toby and usually when something starts off bad, it gets a lot worse when they found out it was him. It didn't help matters at all that Sho was far more imposing then Toby could ever hope to be and even standing he was a good foot or two taller.

Abilities:Skilled with spear and shield. Has no blind spots in his vision(can see 360 degrees around him), can summon spiritual shields 2 feet taller then himself(7 foot 11 inches to be exact) for additional defense. His strength is much greater than his stature and appearance would suggest he can run a spear threw large boulders and rocks using shear force.

Personality: Distant, Weary, Always looking for tactical ground
Bio: A group of people deep within the deserts of the Middle East worship spirits as the primary driving forces of the planet. The greatest of these are Vigilance, Rage, Pride, Glory, Death, and Corruption. These people truly believed they were blessed with the protection of their guardian spirit Vigilance, and perhaps it was true as they had manage to stay unnoticed in a time of war and strife. The ground in which they lived was vastly uninhabited by lesser dark spirits, and larger ones feared to tread there though did so from time to time. In these times many of the village would say that they could see the holy spear of Vigilance piercing a dark cloud. This was how they knew their faith was right and true. These people in return choose to remain Vigilant and strong both physically and spiritually as thanks for the many gifts their village had provided them.
Life continued peacefully though until the current chieftain was approached by a shining creature in massive plate armor carrying with him a spear and shield. He spoke with a resounding thundering voice that he was Vigilance, and the time had come in which he was needed elsewhere in the world but was bound to this land in his spiritual land. The chieftain then did something unprecedented, he offered his unborn child to the spirit as a vessel. The spirit was impressed with the man's devotion to his lord and accepted his proposal and in return, one his work was finished, he would return and guide the chieftain's people to an age of glory that had yet to be seen.
this was when Adil was born, as Vigilance incarnate. Years of training has hardened him into a powerful warrior able to shatter even boulders with his spear point. Now he seeks out the threat that has forced his hand into this mortal body so that he may return to his people and fulfill his promise the his new father.

Its not a problem, besides I think I would be the one getting the names messed up >.< I am terrible with names! also I think I completely flopped the names sometimes I get messed up with the Japanese naming system, because I am terrible with names, it would be Hoshino Toby in Japanese Toby Hoshino in American. I think I got it right gawd my mind >.<

Toby's Mother was American and came to japan in order to be an English teacher. Toby's Mother felt it was important to have Toby introduced to both cultures and as such was given a more American first name and a more Japanese surname as a symbolic representation of the mix. Also just realized that there was already a Mitsuki will change the last name as well in order to avoid confusion!

Hmmmm? But a linear concept like time means nothing to the chaos gods. They've existed before they've existed before. They're certainly monsters at the level of the C'tan, probably even worse, though both are certainly lovecraftian to some degree(The chaos much less so and the C'tan moreso), still C'tan are many leagues lower then "lovecraft" in the eldritch category.To be fair there's almost nothing quite like lovecraft fictionally.
True yet not true certainly they have existed before they have existed yet they have not existed forever. They need Sentience in order to exist at all. Should all life ever be wiped out, say by Korn because blood for the blood god, or the tyrranids, as they are a hive mind and the only ones likely to survive would be Tzeench and Nurgle for all things decay and change even space bugs, or Necrons succeed. They would simply stop existing until more sentient life could evolve. So unless life existed before the universe itself then the chaos were not born until the first creature first thought.

Short bio: Toby was never popular with the people of his village. His parents left the village when he was a young boy, leaving him behind. Worse still he had a tendency to refer to objects as living things had made sure that there was no way he could fit in to normal society. However despite the backlash in his unusual habit, he kept on. This was because Toby had a secret, he could see the spirits that were held in all objects and people. There was no outstanding difference in the spirits of the living despite what many had preached to him.
One day after the town bullies had chased him down for food that was given to him by the elder, he encountered something he had never seen in his short life. A small man with a large nose picking bugs and mushrooms from the ground and eating them. When approached the creature was shocked, it was incredibly rare for a human to be able to see a spirit, even a Gnome who was more in tune with the natural world than any other spirit. He explained that while all living things have a soul, all souls have a spirit to shape, guide, and protect them. This was when Toby found his true calling, asking for guidance the gnome taught him about the land of the spirits and each spirits purpose. In learning such things it wasn't long before the Gnome, Loess, began introducing him to other spirits and with time he befriended them as well.
Now with the spirits of fire, water, earth, and air at his side he sets off to meet even more spirits to find out just what their purpose is and why he can see them.
Other: Traveling with him are the invisible spirits: Loess the gnome, Pyre the Salamander, Isobar the Fairy, and Inlet the Nymph.
