"It's not that I think you're stupid Shu, it's just..." Takeshi had to think over how to put this, not wanting to get Shu all riled up over nothing. Biting his lip as he scratched his chin he went silent for a moment, his foot tapping rhythmically against the dirt. "Oh! I mean you're from the jungles, you know? So... You're not used to loads of the stuff we see, that's all. I don't think you're dumb, I just know you don't know a lot of stuff, because of where you're from, you know? And the fruit thing was a joke." Now what was this about monsters? Takeshi knew full well the fitful nights his brother had so often, it was hard not to when you shared a bed with him. Always tossing and turning, whimpering and swinging out as if something was after him. Knowing there were monsters in his dreams explained it, though why were there monsters? Why couldn't the little guy just rest easy? Takeshi had figured all he had to do was be there when they rested but clearly that wasn't enough. "Huh... Like you? So do you think you're a monster?" he asked, earnestly confused as he knit his brow, "Because you're not... Like at all. In fact you're far from a monster as you can get, I'm more of a monster than you are."

"Well you aren't exactly photosynthesizing either now are you? You aren't a plant Viral, regardless of whatever ability you might have. It just happens that your cells respond well to the sun's rays." All in all it was a mighty convenient trait to have, needing only to be outdoors for your wounds to heal. For all their strength Saiyans couldn't hope for such a thing, and if they wished to expedite their recovery either Senzu beans or a healing tank was needed. With his only wounds being fatigue Vegeta was readily able to help Viral outside to the celebration, taking it slow as not to push his worn frame too hard. Once they were out around the bonfire and the natives some of them took notice of Viral's arrival, smiling and calling out to him but otherwise not approaching. Intimidated perhaps? Even worn down as he was Viral could seem imposing to those unfamiliar with him, and even to those who knew him. Delivering Viral to the celebration was his part, figuring his friend wanted little part to do with Vegeta at the moment, the Saiyan smiled and eased him to sit on a log before heading back to T'charrl and Haku.

Being outdoors was nice, particularly being outdoors and not in the middle of a fight. After the hectic day they'd had for themselves being able to just sit, relax and enjoy each others company was a wonderful change of pace. Taking a seat beside Viral, Yumi leaned back a bit and stretched out her injured leg with a groan, reaching down and rubbing near the wound irritably. "It itches so much... The medicine they gave me is working, I can almost feel it mending, but gods does it itch!" she grumbled, sighing as she tore her hands off the bandages and folded them beneath her arms. From the silence of the hut they were now surrounded by laughter, song and music, everyone having a great time of themselves. It was hard for her to stay annoyed with so much positivity around as a smile spread across her face, looking over to Viral to see if he was enjoying it yet. "None of this would be happening if it wasn't for us, doesn't that make you feel good?" she asked, moving over a bit closer and arching an eyebrow in question, "Look at all these happy people and know they're happy because of, in part, you. Doesn't that make you feel the slightest bit warm inside?"

"Oh n-no! You don't have to go and d-do that!" Haku said hastily as he shirked back slightly, worried he'd just angered T'charrl with his concerns. "I was just w-wondering where it had gone... If it's gone then it's gone, we shouldn't make it come b-back, that wouldn't be right of us..." He'd miss it sure even if they only had it for a short time, he'd gotten excited and began thinking he had himself a pet of sorts. Would he like to try finding it? Maybe, but not at the cost of causing discomfort for T'charrl. Grabbing a piece of fruit off of his tray he bit into it, an awkward silence coming on as he tried to think of how to change the conversation from there. The last thing he was wanting to do during a celebration was upset the one who was mostly responsible for it, he had to try and make things right. "Uh... Is there anything you want to d-do when we get back to Uuonoe?" Haku asked suddenly, looking up at T'charrl with a small smile, "We'll p-probably have some time to ourselves, maybe..."
"Aw damn, looks like I'm not tricking you huh buddy?" Takeshi teased, smirking as he took back the fruit and rubbed it off on his shirt, "And you just saw fruit move, you mean it doesn't move on it's own. Gotta be more clear there." Teasing Shu was pretty fun, for him anyways, Shu probably didn't appreciate it as much. Even though he was clearly joking around the younger boy felt the need to go into detail about how he was wrong, and it would have been pretty amusing if not for one little tidbit in his otherwise intelligent tirade. "Monsters in your dreams...? You got monsters chasing you around in your dreams huh?" he asked, arching an eyebrow with a curious look at his brother, "Is that why you have trouble sleeping buddy? You do kinda kick and squirm a lot when you're sleeping..." It was a small wonder he got any sleep some nights what with Shu whimpering, squirming around like a damn fish out of water and looking like he was trying to run away. Takeshi never had any idea what the deal was though he'd figured it had to be a bad dream, not that he could guess what was causing it. Monsters huh? "What's the monsters like? They like those things we fought earlier? That what you're dreaming of?"

Vegeta wanted it to be made clear this was Viral's choice, knowing how he could get if someone decided for him. Despite offering that clarity it appeared like Viral was still feeling cornered and forced into a decision however; being outside was better for him even if he just rested anyways. "Primitive? I would say being able to mend wounds purely through exposure to sunlight is very advanced," he commented, moving to the bedside and leaning in to help Viral up, "The rest of us will be dealing with our injuries for a few days at the least, yet some sunlight and rest and you will be good as new." Or most likely by the end of tomorrow, depending on how much sunlight was left, intensity of the gamma rays, and the severity of Viral's injuries. Placing an arm under Viral's to support him Vegeta eased him off the bed, getting them to their feet and waving off Yumi as she tried to help. "Don't be ridiculous, you can barely walk on your own. If you feel so inclined however you can get the door for us."

"Oh I can do that? I'm so very flattered," Yumi quipped, smiling as she limped over to the door and swung it open. Vegeta was right though, there probably wasn't a chance that she'd be able to keep Viral up as well as herself, not like this. "I think you'll be happy being out here Viral... It's a nice day, and there's a lot of food if you're hungry." Once they were outside the home she wasn't so sure about the food aspect, seeing nothing but fruit being served. Shu was in heaven right now without a doubt but Viral would rather some kind of meat, and frankly so would she. After burning as much energy as they had fighting an apple would be a nice snack but hardly what she'd call filling. Not one to shun a gift, or free food, Yumi would accept whatever they were given graciously. On their way out the first familiar faces she spotted were Shu's and Takeshi's, smiling as she hobbled over to greet them. "Shu! Takeshi!" Yumi called as she waved to them, barely making it to the log they were sat on before sitting down beside Shu, wincing as she straightened out her leg. "Having fun you two?"

"S-So it... Left?" That kind of hurt thinking that the spirit had just up and vanished after they had only just met. There was nothing tying it to them really, they barely knew where it had come from or why it stuck with them, but Haku had enjoyed having its company. It was like having a pet, albeit a pet only he and T'charrl could see. Smiling sadly Haku shook his head and grabbed himself another piece of fruit, rubbing his thumb across it as he let out a sigh. "No, you don't have to look for it... If it wanted to go then it went, we should let it..." he muttered, unable to hide his disappointment at the fact. "Besides, we might meet another... Maybe..."
As expected dropping into the building had stirred up a proverbial hornet's nest, and Wyth's charge did little to help that. Panic ensued as their group broke into the building and began engaging the slavers, many trying to flee at the sight of Wyth while others grabbed whatever they could to stand their ground. Most never stood a chance. It was clear that many of these men were used to preying on the weak, subduing them somehow and carrying them away, not fighting. Even with her dud leg Nymira was able to dance around the first she encountered with ease; killing the slavers would have been child's play but she tried to abide by the non-lethal approach, causing broken bones and some cuts but nothing that would kill.

It did not appear however that everyone had gotten that notice. Wyth was killing whoever came close enough to him at the time, as expected of what amounted really to a wild animal. Asta on the other hand seemed to have no issue with slaying the men, doing so in both an elegant and brutal fashion as she sliced one's torso open with a single cut. Yes killing was easier but she was trying to abide by Ethan's wishes not to, as everyone seemed to be. Not quite caring enough to chastise Asta nor thinking it the proper time to regardless Nymira went about her business, confronting a man with a greatsword that had just entered the fray. He appeared to be the one in charge given how others hurried out of his way, and there would be no swifter way to win this skirmish than to kill their leader. That chance wouldn't come just yet however, there were more men to contend with before she might fight him.

Fending off a man wielding a dagger with little more than a broom handle, hardly ideal. Thankfully his attacker was not terribly practiced and left himself open with his first strike, giving Ethan a chance to wrestle him to the ground and knock away the weapon before trying to get hold of it himself: he'd not use the dagger on the man but having a weapon in hand was reassuring. Grunting as he was punched in the jaw his fingertips just barely tapped the grip, stretching to try and grab hold before stopping as a sickening crunching sound tore away his focus. The man he was grappled with had suddenly let go and was grabbing at his leg, and even from his point he could see bone sticking out from the skin, blood seeping through the fabric of his pants. Wincing in sympathy pain he reached out and grabbed the man's shoulders, slamming him backwards and driving his head into the floor to knock him out. Before he was even able to thank Cecil his friend was on the move, leaving Ethan alone at their breach.

He had to keep moving, if they didn't find Amuné soon then something might happen to her. Scooping up the dagger from the floor Ethan took just a second to take stock of their situation and immediately felt his stomach lurch, his face paling as he saw the fallout of their battle so far. Blood. Blood everywhere, bodies strewn along the ground from various wounds, some doubtless Wyth's doing and others by a blade, all he knew was there were several men dead already. His friends were not among the fallen and for that he was grateful but still... Why so many dead? There had been dead men on the ship and he'd seen people slain before yet neither did any good in relieving the sickness he felt at the sight before him. Trying to push through it his legs numbly moved forward, his head spinning as he closed his eyes in an attempt to shut out the images. "Amuné... Amuné..." he whispered, forcing himself to move quicker as he charged for an open door, "Amuné! We're coming!"

Quite a few of the slavers were having nothing to do with the battle ensuing inside, refusing to join their comrades on the cold ground. Whoever these people were they were trouble, and those animals they brought with them too dangerous to fight. One of the slavers had gone for the front door for his escape, his sword clattering against the ground as it dragged lamely from his hip behind him. As he rounded a corner and found the door he spotted Zander stood before it, gasping and taking a half step back before noticing his weapon. "Y-You... You only have a staff," the slaver commented, a panicked grin stretching across his face as he drew his blade, "Heh... Hehe... What an idiot! Die!"

Ralthor be damned, where were Ethan and Cecil? Both boys had since fled the room and gone hell knows where, leaving Asta, Myria and Nymira to tidy up the remaining men. Their numbers were dwindling quickly and soon the slavers would be finished and yet they still had no sight of Amuné, they couldn't rest until they found the young Ydran. Watching as another two men entered the room, the Dimuran slicked her tongue and motioned for them to come after her, her eyes darting between the club and the machete they wielded. Short reach like her daggers, if she could just keep out of their striking range she'd be fine. When both men moved on her she took a quick step back on her good leg, ducking as the man with the club nearly took her head off with a mighty swing. Using the heel of her hand she drove it up quickly and into his elbow to break the bone, giving him little reprieve as she kicked at his leg and brought him to a knee, trying to drive it home with a punch to the bridge of his nose. Feeling a powerful set of arms grab her from behind she growled as her own were pinned to her sides, struggling to get out of the man's grasp. With his good arm the man with the club grabbed his weapon and raise it to smash her head in, and being held as firmly as she was there was little room for escape.

Nymira tried to crane her head to one side to avoid being struck, her eyes reflexively closing as she waited for the incoming blow. Instead she looked up confused when she was dropped, hearing the smack of the club breaking bone yet feeling none of the pain. A quick look back and she saw the man who'd been holding her with an arrow between his shoulder blades, his skull red as blood trickled down his face. Taking advantage of the stunned man she swiped out with her dagger and cut the man's arm to force him to drop it, swinging her dagger up and slicing clean through his throat, ignoring his garbled pleas as he toppled to the ground, his chest painted red. She'd sworn not to kill but had little care now that Ethan wasn't present, hardly wanting to let such a loathsome man live.

They should move on and try to find Amuné as soon as possible. Even if they wanted to there was no chance it was happening, not with the mountain of a man standing in their way now. With the battle spilling into a larger room there was room for him to swing that massive blade of his, a weapon her daggers stood no chance against head on. Sheathing one dagger she reached out and grabbed a chair, throwing it at the man before chasing after it, hoping to get a slight opening. Seeing him simply knock the chair away she had to drop to her knees and slide as she avoided being cut down, barely turning in time and blocking as he kicked her away into a stack of crates. Of course it wouldn't be so simple.
"Okay, okay, don't go biting me you little twerp. I'll be nice, sheesh," Takeshi said as he edged a bit away from Shu. He really didn't get what the little guy was getting so bent out of shape over, he just didn't like the food they were getting too much, was that such a bad thing? After getting knocked around like they had been he just wanted a simple, hot meal to relax with, not a fruit salad. Sighing to himself he resigned to finish off his odd, hourglass shaped fruit in silence, not terribly fond of the flavor but making an effort of it. "Yeah well... They know where to get this stuff. We wandered around for hours and couldn't find much, but apparently there's a crap ton of it here," he pointed out with a glance to his own and Shu's piles. Deciding to toy with Shu a little Takeshi grabbed a rounded fruit and smirked, setting it on the ground and pushing it just enough to get it rolling away. When his brother spotted it he pounced like a cat on a mouse, the older boy snorting and covering his mouth to try and stifle laughter. "T-Thought you said fruit can't move around!" he snickered, grinning in amusement, "Looks like that was moving to me!"

"I'll carry you! My leg's a bit of a dud right now, but I can probably... Hobble," Yumi said with an uncertain smile, trying and failing to convince both herself and Viral she was capable. "Okay so maybe I can't help you, but..." There were plenty of other people here besides her weren't there? Moving back to her own bed she crawled across it to the window, leaning out and looking around for their friends. Spotting Vegeta sat along with T'charrl and Haku she grinned calling out his name and waving him over. "Come here, I need your help with something!" she shouted, sitting down on her bed and looking at Viral excitedly. "They're out there celebrating, and I know you don't like big crowds but you should be part of it too! It's like I said, you're the reason things worked out at all, I'm sure a few people would like to thank you." He could complain about it and she'd let him, but while things were going on that might improve his mood she couldn't well let him sit here. Waiting until Vegeta arrived she beamed as he entered the building, wasting no time and pointing to Viral. "I want to take him out there, to join everyone!"

Vegeta had assumed something might be wrong with Yumi or Viral, or perhaps they needed something. That they wanted to go out and join the celebration...? 'They' wasn't right either, from the look on Viral's face he would like anything but to go out and play part to the celebration. Sighing at his friend's enthusiasm he shook his head, closing the door and walking to the foot of Viral's bed. "I know what you're trying to do Yumi, and it's all fine and well... But if Viral's too exhausted to even be moving on his own shouldn't he be resting? As you should, you have a hole in your leg for goodness sakes..." As if to try and prove him wrong Yumi began to stand on her one good leg only to be made to sit back down by a startled Vegeta, groaning as she gave him a cross look. He was only trying to ensure they recovered and yet Yumi wanted to be out and about. Rubbing at his forehead in exasperation Vegeta turned back to Viral, giving him a questioning look. "Do you want to go out there...? We are, to put it simply, being celebrated as heroes, albeit to varying degrees. T'charrl's gotten most of the attention but they're aware of your deeds too, I don't imagine you'll go unnoticed while out there."

T'charrl's powers might be unstable, they even might be downright scary. But what they had seen today had saved so many lives there was just no way you could think they were all bad. Haku liked the idea of not having so much riding on opening a portal but then he couldn't think of any other reason why they would need it: they had no way of getting the others home without T'charrl's help, unless they wanted to cross over for whatever insane reason there was no other need for it. There was more weighing on his mind that he wanted to bring up and ask about but someone's, or something's absence in particular had begun troubling him. How hadn't he noticed before that the spirit was nowhere to be seen? Looking around nervously he bit his lip, giving T'charrl a sad look at the idea of 'moving on'. "Y-You mean it... Passed away? Like it died?" Haku asked, lowering his gaze as he wrung his hands together, "Oh... I s-see... It was really nice though, a-and it liked me... I was hoping it would still be here... Though I g-guess I should have noticed sooner."
Why is writing hurting your butt? How do you hold your pencil?! O.o
"You'd... Bite me? You wouldn't dare..." Not so certain of that Takeshi was a little wary, leaning away slightly as he narrowed his eyes at Shu. "Should be easier now that those monsters and the bug thing is dead. Other than that they seem to be doing pretty okay." Wasn't the cushy lifestyle like what people back in East City had, walking down the street to grab whatever food they wanted. Or even like his own which was still basic by comparison, but he had a nice warm house, clean too, and could get food whenever he wanted. This whole living out in the wilds thing though... Shu could keep that, it was all his. Paling slightly when Shu threatened again to alert Yumi, Takeshi shook his head and put his hands up defensively, a nervous smile crossing his face. "H-Hey! Okay I get it, I get it. I'm grateful they're giving us food, you know? And a place to relax, it's real swell of them. I won't complain again, I promise." Sheesh, since when did the little guy pull that card with him? It wasn't that he was afraid of Yumi really... He just was afraid of getting smacked by her. He got hit enough, if it kept up he'd have brain damage. Picking up a round, yellow fruit from his pile the older boy examined it closely before a sly smile crept to his lips, setting it on the floor at Shu's feet. "Hey Shu..." he whispered, giving it a nudge and watching it roll away, "You were wrong, fruit totally does move."

With everyone else being happy and celebrating Yumi wouldn't allow Viral to sulk. They had plenty reason to be happy and to cheer, doubting oneself and questioning what had happened didn't do anyone any good. "My leg will heal Viral, it's fine. If you hadn't used Enki to fight then we could have died, and a wounded leg is nothing compared to being killed. And we don't know that for sure do we? Eris and Orion seemed to be pretty strong, they killed one too didn't they? And... I could probably have killed one, but I think I hit my head or something... Memory is a little fuzzy from the fight." She didn't have nearly the head wound that Takeshi did, half of his head was bandaged up so tight part of her worried they might cut off circulation to whatever little brain resided in that thick skull of his. Giggling quietly at her own joke Yumi reached out and gently rubbed Viral's shoulder again, giving him a patient smile as she did so. "I'm okay to move a little... Do you want to go out and see everyone? I know you're still exhausted but I can help. Or I can get someone else to."

"Mmhmm... I love it..." Could he wear it even? From the looks of the piece it wasn't a shirt, nor was it any other kind of clothing he knew. Curious he held the corners and let it hang loose, finding it was indeed just a simple if beautiful piece of fabric. That was fine, he'd be just as happy to keep it somewhere safe to look at for later. Folding it back up he ran his fingertips over the fabric before smiling, glancing over at T'charrl when he spoke again. "You can do it, you've never done it before and y-you did it today... So you can do it again," Haku said with certainty and a nod of his head, "If we have to do it again. I h-hope we don't, it was scary, but... Now we know it's not so bad. Your powers are r-really good, even if you don't think so. You can h-heal people, you can talk to spirits, and you can..." Spirits... Wait a second, where was his? This entire time on the planet he'd not seen his little friend anywhere though he'd sworn it had come along on the ship with them. Looking around for any sign of the spirit he reached over and gave T'charrl's arm a tug at. "H-Have you seen the little spirit since we landed...? Anywhere...? I don't see it..."
I mean you never specifically stated where in regards they are to the building. That being said you could feasibly find the building still while the fighting is going on :P
"Alright, alright buddy, I get it. I won't complain about my food," Takeshi said in hasty defense, rolling his eyes as he picked up another fruit, "You're right, I won't complain, it's free food anyways." Who knew the little guy would get so damn offended by giving up a piece of fruit, he was acting like he'd just insulted their mother or something. Whatever, they would only be on this planet a bit longer anyways before they got back to Uuonoe, then he could have whatever he wanted to eat. Wiping juice as it dribbled down his chin Takeshi nearly spit out his food when Shu brought up telling Yumi what he was doing, coughing before smiling and giving his brother a pat on the back. "L-Let's not tell Yumi, okay? I mean she's tired and trying to rest with Viral, you know? We don't want to bother her do we?" Or more importantly he didn't want her to smack him around for acting... Well, like him. Awfully hard to not be himself but any time he even spoke out he had a smack with his name on it. By now he wouldn't be terribly surprised if there was an impression of his face on one of her palms even!

Yumi just wished that Viral could appreciate for once what he had done for them. If not for his efforts they could have ended up seriously hurt or worse. The villagers may not have gotten out, or if they did it may have been fewer and they could have been hurt. Everything had worked out because yes, he had over done it, but doing so is why everything had gone so well. Frowning when he continued to lament his situation she forced herself to her feet, keeping pressure off of her leg as she hobbled to his bed. "You're not the only one here, you keep forgetting that," Yumi said as she sat on the edge of his bed, reaching over and placing a hand on his shoulder, "You've done your part, you protected us while we were trapped and helped get everyone back home. You earned some rest, let everyone else carry things the rest of the way home. You don't have to do it all alone, we're here to make sure of that."

Haku didn't know what to say on receiving a gift, he'd never received anything like that before in his life. All it was really was a simple strip of cloth, a nice looking piece but still just cloth. It meant so much more to him however and it showed as he hugged it against himself, his lower lip trembling as his eyes welled up. Sniffling and rubbing at his eyes with his arm he smiled again as he rolled it out to look at it in all of its entirety, finding the design in it to be unique to the others and very nice. "It l-looks like they made them for us... I mean... I don't see any others around," he muttered happily, hugging it again and placing it in his lap, "That makes two of us... This is my first gift, s-so... I like it, I don't care if its special or rare, it's a gift..." He'd have to keep this in very good condition, probably wrap it up or put it in a box and store it somewhere away in his room on the ship. It wasn't as many gifts as T'charrl had gotten but that was fine, this was all he needed. Vegeta didn't seem terribly moved by the gesture he'd noticed, just folding up the piece and setting it to his side, but then he supposed he was probably just trying not to blubber like he was. "H-Hey T-T'charrl?" Haku asked, smiling tearfully as he looked up at his friend, "Thanks, for what you did today. I'm glad everyone is okay..."
Ethan: :'( "I was going to be their friend..."
He'll survive... Mostly xD
