"It's not that I think you're stupid Shu, it's just..." Takeshi had to think over how to put this, not wanting to get Shu all riled up over nothing. Biting his lip as he scratched his chin he went silent for a moment, his foot tapping rhythmically against the dirt. "Oh! I mean you're from the jungles, you know? So... You're not used to loads of the stuff we see, that's all. I don't think you're dumb, I just know you don't know a lot of stuff, because of where you're from, you know? And the fruit thing was a joke." Now what was this about monsters? Takeshi knew full well the fitful nights his brother had so often, it was hard not to when you shared a bed with him. Always tossing and turning, whimpering and swinging out as if something was after him. Knowing there were monsters in his dreams explained it, though why were there monsters? Why couldn't the little guy just rest easy? Takeshi had figured all he had to do was be there when they rested but clearly that wasn't enough. "Huh... Like you? So do you think you're a monster?" he asked, earnestly confused as he knit his brow, "Because you're not... Like at all. In fact you're far from a monster as you can get, I'm more of a monster than you are."
"Well you aren't exactly photosynthesizing either now are you? You aren't a plant Viral, regardless of whatever ability you might have. It just happens that your cells respond well to the sun's rays." All in all it was a mighty convenient trait to have, needing only to be outdoors for your wounds to heal. For all their strength Saiyans couldn't hope for such a thing, and if they wished to expedite their recovery either Senzu beans or a healing tank was needed. With his only wounds being fatigue Vegeta was readily able to help Viral outside to the celebration, taking it slow as not to push his worn frame too hard. Once they were out around the bonfire and the natives some of them took notice of Viral's arrival, smiling and calling out to him but otherwise not approaching. Intimidated perhaps? Even worn down as he was Viral could seem imposing to those unfamiliar with him, and even to those who knew him. Delivering Viral to the celebration was his part, figuring his friend wanted little part to do with Vegeta at the moment, the Saiyan smiled and eased him to sit on a log before heading back to T'charrl and Haku.
Being outdoors was nice, particularly being outdoors and not in the middle of a fight. After the hectic day they'd had for themselves being able to just sit, relax and enjoy each others company was a wonderful change of pace. Taking a seat beside Viral, Yumi leaned back a bit and stretched out her injured leg with a groan, reaching down and rubbing near the wound irritably. "It itches so much... The medicine they gave me is working, I can almost feel it mending, but gods does it itch!" she grumbled, sighing as she tore her hands off the bandages and folded them beneath her arms. From the silence of the hut they were now surrounded by laughter, song and music, everyone having a great time of themselves. It was hard for her to stay annoyed with so much positivity around as a smile spread across her face, looking over to Viral to see if he was enjoying it yet. "None of this would be happening if it wasn't for us, doesn't that make you feel good?" she asked, moving over a bit closer and arching an eyebrow in question, "Look at all these happy people and know they're happy because of, in part, you. Doesn't that make you feel the slightest bit warm inside?"
"Oh n-no! You don't have to go and d-do that!" Haku said hastily as he shirked back slightly, worried he'd just angered T'charrl with his concerns. "I was just w-wondering where it had gone... If it's gone then it's gone, we shouldn't make it come b-back, that wouldn't be right of us..." He'd miss it sure even if they only had it for a short time, he'd gotten excited and began thinking he had himself a pet of sorts. Would he like to try finding it? Maybe, but not at the cost of causing discomfort for T'charrl. Grabbing a piece of fruit off of his tray he bit into it, an awkward silence coming on as he tried to think of how to change the conversation from there. The last thing he was wanting to do during a celebration was upset the one who was mostly responsible for it, he had to try and make things right. "Uh... Is there anything you want to d-do when we get back to Uuonoe?" Haku asked suddenly, looking up at T'charrl with a small smile, "We'll p-probably have some time to ourselves, maybe..."
