Well, we did not expect two other people to actually show up and watch the fight! Even Clementine was given a signal to run away because things were about to go down. It was also better than the alternative of having like half a dozen short posts. I also informed Grey Star that we were making a collab post.
DIO & Juri– Near Hotel California (Collab Post)

Arms crossed and leaning back, DIO viewed Juri's onslaught against the Hippotatomus with a critical and observant eye, missing nothing, least of all the amaranth shine from her left eye. Was it evidence of her powers' usage, or perhaps the source? Either way, the eyes were valuable targets. Though he hoped to consider her a comrade, the vampire did not restrain himself from imagining ways to inflict pain upon this woman. Juri's mad storm of kicks truly did capture his interest. Though the powers of Stand users were infinitely variable, complex, or powerful, few engaged in direct, ruthless combat with their opponents, instead relying on tricks, spells, and stipulations of their Stand powers to tip the odds in their favor. An ally with a purely physical talent, and an excellent one by the looks of her, would be a great benefit.

DIO clapped his hands twice, congratulatory in a playfully mocking manner. "I like you." From him, it was high praise. However much he did like her, however, he -as a vampire, more evolved than the apes called humans- would not hesitate to establish his rightful dominance over her. "It is said that in the west humans use papers and machines as compatibility tests. The true medium of the soul, however, is combat. Before we begin our own test, know that I, DIO, am beyond you. If you please me, I will awaken within you a great power, one that will stand beside you always as mine does beside me." The World appeared beside him and planted its feet into the ground, causing foot-shaped imprints to appear in the sidewalk. He meant this to frighten and intrigue her, to arouse within Juri every fighting instinct within her. For DIO, nothing but her best would do. "Shall we dance?"

Juri could not help but be frightened and intrigued by the vampire. She also couldn't help but be aroused, both for battle and for the vampire himself. This was someone like her. Someone who saw the fun in death and destruction. Someone who played by his own rules. Even though this was supposedly a mere spar, something she never liked doing, he very well could kill her if he is unsatisfied. She already knew he was the better fighter from the moment he killed that ridiculous beast, but she had to try to kill him in battle. She wasn't going to give her life to someone who couldn't prove himself a far superior opponent. Juri knew that if she lost, she would either die or become his.

"Ora ora ora!" Juri launched herself forward beginning with her Fuharenjin, a flurry of kicks which produced a flurry of purplish ki projectiles all aimed straight at DIO. Before her, leaning idly back against nothing with arms crossed, DIO bared his teeth. "A strange battle cry. But it's useless, useless, useless!" In the space of a fleeting instant, he appeared in front of the purple fusillade, in precisely the same pose. "Come on, then!" Juri replied by running at him and unleashing a barrage of mostly kicks and a few punches at DIO. These weren't powered up by the Feng Shui Engine, but still powerful all the same. Once she had attacked DIO long enough, her left eye flashed again and now her barrage of attacks were powered by the Feng Shui Engine. However, instead of being merely punches and kicks, Juri added in her Fuhajin attack, firing off purplish ki projectiles from her feet with each use. DIO, having lazily blocked whichever strikes were convenient for him and simply taken the rest, was taken unaware by the tenacity of Juri's empowered strikes. His stillness broken, he was forced to retreat several steps, now avidly trying to intercept the heels, knees, and shins thrown by his opponent. Blood began to seep from his nose, and still this madwoman attacked. By the end of the barrage of attacks, Juri was breathing heavily. She put all her energy into her barrage of kicks, projectiles, and punches in hopes of killing the vampire in front of her.

Whereas Juri sucked deep for air, fatigued by her insane onslaught, DIO's breath came light and slow. Though he felt acute pain, he felt no fear, for his last suspicion had been put to rest. The ki of this martial artist, though a vital energy manifested from her life force, did not have the solar properties of hamon. Chuckling, the vampire smoothed out his wild hair, and remarked, "I'll give you a little credit." The next instant, he disappeared.

From mere centimeters behind Juri came the voice of DIO, close enough for him to feel the heat of her body and for her to feel the chill of his. "URIIIIIIIIII!" he cried as he brought his own knee into the small of Juri's back. Beneath his skin, his veins pumped with blood colder than the sting of midwinter, and on contact the ice spread through her, not freezing her but numbing her nerves and muscles--instant hypothermia. Laughing, DIO grabbed her by the arm and pulled her over his shoulder, crunching her into the admittedly-brittle cracker sidewalk before raising his arms. "Mu..." he began, clenching fingers into fists above his head,, "DAmudamudamudamudamudamudamudamuda!" he roared as he let loose a maelstrom of punches, smashing Juri flat beneath it. Crumbs flew every way as he buried her, the movement of his arms faster than the pistons of an engine.

Even though she felt only a bit of pain from anything but the freezing knee to her back because of the hypothermia, Juri knew her body was taking an utter decimation. She was certainly going to feel all of this later, should she survive. She had to risk it... Dangerous overclocking of the Feng Shui Engine in her left eye. Her left eye sparked purple with power, and licking her lips, she grabbed one of DIO's arms mid-punch with both hands. Grinning madly with pleasure, Juri pulled DIO's arm with all the might of the Feng Shui Engine powering it. The vampire's eyes widened. "B...bakana!" With a loud break, Juri knew that she had torn off the arm she had grabbed and let it drop. Juri then kicked DIO in the chest with both legs to knock the vampire off of her, once more with the full might of the Feng Shui Engine. He gave short bellow of pain and stumbled backward, barely managing to prevent an indignified flop.

Soon Juri stood up, not knowing the extent of the damage to her body and the Feng Shui Engine, but still smirking at DIO. Her eye stopped sparking and shut down. Her body bloodied to all hell, Juri spoke to DIO.

"I like you," Juri struggled to speak to the vampire as if each word hurt to say. "You are worthy to take me."

Juri then dropped to the ground unconscious. Her body, especially with the Feng Shui Engine shut off, could only stay up for so long.

The World stepped over her body, holding its master's arm in its hand. DIO held the ruined stub out for his stand to reattach the arm, and in only a moment he was whole again. The vampire flexed the appendage to get the essence flowing again, and knelt over Juri' body. With his fingernail he made a small cut on her cheek below her left eye, into which he allowed two drops of his own blood to fall. Not enough to turn her or even really heal her, it would nevertheless restore her consciousness and her ability to walk. DIO stood back up to his full height, crossed his arms, and waited.

Juri moaned and her eyes fluttered open. Realizing from the pain that was still in her body she was still alive, Juri pushed herself up off of the ground and had a look of genuine surprise when she saw DIO with both his arms again. She knew her power was completely spent and that their fight had effectively ended.

"You really are something beyond me, aren't you?" This had been said without the seductive tone or smirk, but with the tone of someone acknowledging someone superior. However, soon enough, the seductive, sadistic smirk returned. "I should be glad I pleased you enough to remain alive."

"Hmph. You did well enough, for a human." A new thought had been within DIO for a few moments now. If Juri had been an enemy, he would not have hesitated to kill and drain her then and there. If she'd been a mere potential ally, a flesh bud to keep her under his control without otherwise changing her would have sufficed. Raising her with his own blood, however...why had he felt compelled to do it? Perhaps it was the belief that nothing he did in this bizarre world ultimately mattered to him. "In fact, you may very well be the strongest woman in...The World." A flash announced the appearance of DIO's stand. Without any warning whatsoever it bore down on Juri, came within an inch of her face, and vanished. DIO narrowed his eyes to see what would happen.

Juri flinched as a flash of light had summoned a strange being whose came within an inch of her face before disappearing, though this was less because she didn't expect to die, but more because she didn't expect DIO to summon help. Juri calmed down when it vanished from whence it came. Juri did smirk a bit at being called 'the strongest woman in the world.' That's what that accursed Interpol Agent always claimed about herself, so getting acknowledgement that she was the strongest instead of Chun-Li actually gave her a genuine smile.

"I thought you were the type who was beyond using tricks like summoning for help," Juri noted as she widened her left eyelid and popped out her artificial left eye to examine the damage to it with her natural right eye. Thankfully, nothing was fried, though the Feng Shui Engine will need time to reboot. She would have hated to have to use stuff from freakin' Candyland to fix it! Juri soon popped the Feng Shui Engine back into her left eye socket and blinked her eye a few times, before looking back at DIO. "Not that I have any reason to complain about tricks with this thing."

The wind had started to pick up again, and it sifted through DIO's hair, causing it to blow like bunches of golden wheat in a prairie breeze. He watched Juri inspect her eye without a trace of revulsion, instead concluding that the Feng Shui Engine did indeed have something to do with her abilities. No matter; he could hardly blame someone for wishing to go beyond the stiflingly narrow confines of humanity. "Help? No. What you saw was a projection of my own life energy, a powerful companion formed from my will. It is called a Stand, and the fact that you can see it means that you have one, too. Even after giving rise to over thirty Stands, I am always fascinated to see a new one. They are the windows to the soul." He looked past her at the horizon to witness the sun beginning to peek over it, only to be obscured by opaque clouds of cotton candy. The sight made him laugh, for nothing could have been more convenient. "Today is a fateful day!"
Juri, Roanapur

When DIO smiled at her impressed with her abilities, Juri's face flickered into a frown for just a moment. That smile was too much like M.Bison's for her to not reflexively frown. However, remembering that this person in front of her was not that man she had vowed her revenge on, Juri calmed down to return a sinister, seductive smirk of her own.

"You're ri--" Juri was about to say when Clementine passed between the two, and turned around to see one of the 'hippotatomus's' charging right at them. As she prepared to kill the massive potato beast, DIO had destroyed it with what looked to her to be telekinesis. Juri actually showed a bit of surprise at the suddenness of the potato beast's death. She wanted to know how he killed such a creature that fast.

"Huh," Juri crossed her arms, returning to smirking back at DIO. He suggested to kill the other one, which suited her well enough. She licked her lips sinisterly as her left eye flashed purple, and she ran towards the remaining 'hippotatomus' with blinding speed. With a flurry of kicks enhanced by the purplish ki of the Feng Shui Engine, the potato beast did not even have a chance to defend itself and exploded in its own deluge of mashed potato. However, unlike DIO's attack, Juri's was able to be seen by everyone. Once the purple light of her artificial eye fade, Juri looked annoyed at having gotten mashed potato on her pants. However, she turned back towards DIO and returned to having the sinister, sensual smirk back on her face.

"I can already tell that you know how to show a girl a good time!" Juri replied to DIO, figuring out already that he was the more powerful opponent, and stretching to prepare for the battle of her life. Should she still be there, Juri would only give a momentarily glance at Clementine with a look of dead seriousness on her face, the type of look that Clementine would translate as someone preparing to face zombies so that others may flee and survive. Mainly, it served as a cue for Clementine to run and save herself.

Chun-Li, Mahora

"This is Food Wackyland!" Chun-Li nodded to Kino in agreement that this world was very strange, having decided to dub it that as she ate her Bento, and turned to Ranma again, smiling. "Welcome."

"Cookie! Cookie!" Chun-Li tossed Kino and Jax each a cookie from her bag with pinpoint accuracy, and then accepted the curry bread from Ranma, biting into it. When Ranma began to go on about his world of Martial Arts Eating Contest, Martial Arts Fast Food Delivery, Martial Arts Calligraphy, and Martial Arts Tea Ceremony, Chun-Li looked rather dumbfounded as she tried to imagine how each one worked. She eventually decided they were like their normal versions only with a lot more fighting. Chun-Li turned back to Ranma, "Thanks for the bread."

"You live in Martial Arts Wackyland, Ranma," Chun-Li then glumly said to the pigtailled martial artist as she finished her curry bread and continued back with her Bento. Ranma then asked what she was expecting, and she frowned as she thought about it. "I'm not sure, but a literal Land of Plenty was not on my mind at all, though you could be right about having to fight living food."

"I saw some potato chip butterflies when getting here," Chun-Li had noted to Ranma and the others. "If there are butterflies made of food, there will be other, larger beasts made of food who might want to make us their food."

"It's also possible that the Viewer is telling us to gather what food we can for the next few days," Chun-Li added her own opinion on the subject of this day where food grows on trees. "Like a calm before the storm, if you catch my drift."

When Jax had asked to eat with them, Chun-Li responded politely. "Sure, you can! Want me to toss a Bento down or do you want to climb up!"

Juri, Roanapur

"I guess..." Juri responded to Clementine. "Pretty stupid challenge if it--"

It was then she noticed DIO in front of her. Those strong muscles, those washboard abs, that kooky outfit. While others might have dismissed him right off for his outfit, this particular person was definitely a fighter of notable skill. Juri stood up and tossed her Buffalo chicken aside. Her irritable mood had instantly faded at the thought of someone who could actually challenge her. It also helped that DIO felt both sensual and sweet.

"Hmm... You look like you're in good shape," Juri smirked seductively at DIO. "You heard right... I do have a... special ability, and I'm guessing you do, too."

"I don't usually do demonstrations, but for someone like you, sure," Juri said to DIO. She'd rather just train and kill fighters, and began stretching her muscles.

She turned towards the Buffalo chicken stop sign, and swung her leg around in a circle, gathering purplish ki into her foot. Then Juri swung her leg around again firing that purplish ki from her foot right at the stop sign, breaking it in half even through the thick enlarged chicken bone that made up the center. What she had done was what she called Fuhajin, a move that showed her power off more than the mere kicks that the normal humans she fought so far got.

"Food World's not the best place to show off my power, but will that do as a demonstration or do you want something... more?" Juri asked DIO, smirking sensually at him.

@Lugubrious@Azakma
Well, yeah, but I figured it was justified. The food wave came just as the sun was rising to mark the new day, according to Grey Star Platinum.

To be fair, a fight with five normal people would probably take a minute for Juri so it is probably just after sunrise for her and Clementine.
<Snipped quote by GameGuruGG>

I'm not really opposed either, but.. Isn't it daytime?

Lugubrious seemed to have handwaved it as being like thirty minutes before there will be sunlight direct enough to harm DIO.
Any objections to DIO encountering Juri/CLementine @Azakma@GameGuruGG and Filia encountering Souji/Sakura @Flamelord@VitaVitaAR?

Unless someone else wants specifically to interact.

I would be okay with it, but it depends on what Azakma wants.
Chun-Li, Mahora, The Next Day

Chun-Li seemed to still be trying to comprehend just what had happen last night. The entire land seems to have become made of food. She was quite reluctant to eat the food that seemed to blanket the land as she was unsure if it was even safe to eat... that is until she saw a tree that was growing Western confectionery. Chun-Li only had so much willpower especially for something she liked, so after a bit of a taste test to find the confectionery was actually good to eat, Chun-Li pulled out a bag and began stuffing it full of sweets. After she got enough sweets to last her days, Chun-Li eventually followed Ranma up the Japanese bento tree to get an actual meal and to talk to the pigtailed martial artist.

"When Chao said 'challenge,' I was expecting something more... not this," Chun-Li admitted feably to Ranma as she ate out of her own bento and offered Ranma a cookie from her bag of sweets.

Juri, Roanapur, The Next Day

Both Juri and Clementine were able to find a nearby abandoned house to stay for the night... However, the next day, Clementine would wake up to hear fighting outside.

This was the fifth person who had to be beaten into unconsciousness today, and Juri was starting to get annoyed of it.

"JUST BECAUSE IT'S A GINGERBREAD HOUSE NOW DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO EAT IT!!!" Juri yelled frustrated, though she was successful in finally driving off the attackers from the house now apparently made of gingerbread. Juri panted and sighed, glancing at an untouched stop sign made of Buffalo chicken. Curiosity finally getting to Juri, she took a bite of the Buffalo chicken stop sign and her tastebuds were in spicy heaven.

"...What," Juri said to herself, all logic that she knew having been thrown out the window right then and there. The food that blanketed Roanapur was edible! Finding a paint can filled with Ranch dressing and a ladder made of celery, Juri decided to sit down on the cracker sidewalk and just eat the buffalo chicken, Ranch dressing, and celery right then and there. If Juri was going to spend the day in Buffet Land, she decided to just make the most of it.

@Azakma
@Azakma Unless someone else wants to interact with Juri, I am also ready for a time skip. I just had to have Juri react to Clementine given how roughed up she looks and that she's a child.
Chun-Li, Mahora

It looked like the psycho had decided to leave in his own special way, so Chun-Li went back to lo mein. As she was eating her lo mein, something black and sharp stabbed through a large piece of chicken in it and took the piece of chicken away. Chun-Li glanced behind her and all she saw was a slightly pudgy schoolgirl leaving.

"Hey!" Chun-Li looked rather annoyed that someone stole some of her food when Chao was giving it for free. However, she went back to her meal, until the Viewer made his appearance. Chun-Li turned to face the Viewer rather peeved off at him especially, though she did not need techniques like Ranma to keep calm. The Viewer would not be dumb enough to leave himself open to attack. Once the message was done, Chun-Li returned to finish her meal when the pigtailed boy introduced himself as Saotome Ranma.

"My name is Chun-Li, Saotome-san" she said back to him attempting some politeness as she looked Ranma over. Judging from appearances, he was a Japanese martial artist who likely trained in China at some point given the outfit. He also doesn't care for social skills or didn't learn them given his ruder dialect. One might think the boy might be a ruffian, but so far, the only one he had beat up was someone who deserved it. Chun-Li's judgement was that Saotome Ranma was a rude martial artist with a good heart. She'd have to find a way to spar with him later and see how good a martial artist he really was.

"I wouldn't know, though I hope we can all get through this month together," Chun-Li replied as she glanced at the others and took one of the keys that Chao offered.

Juri, Roanapur

"Juri," she said to Clementine as she got her alcohol and drank it all. She really needed a drink after what she had just heard from the Russian woman. It was rum. Real pirate rum if the container it came out of was any indication. Juri looked at Clementine again, seeing if she had any obvious injuries. She didn't like seeing a child in such a state as Clementine was. It reminded her too much of what happened to her the night her parents were murdered.

"Kid, you okay?" Juri said as she pointed out the blood splotches on her outfit. "You look like the sole survivor of a street fight."

"You shouldn't be in here," Juri told Clementine, but then glanced at the exit again. "But then it isn't safe for a kid out there."

"Isn't safe with me, either," Juri smirked a bit and chuckled, looking at Clementine before frowning again. "Where are your parents?"

Juri really, really hoped the answer was not "dead" or "not in this City." That would really, really ruin Juri's day. It probably was that, unfortunately. As she pondered this, the Viewer decided to make his appearance. She was going to have her revenge for being brought here and interrupting her revenge against M. Bison. The Russian woman and her cronies left leaving Juri and Clementine alone with the drunks. Juli stood up and began heading out the door when one of the drunks attempted to grab her arm.

"Hey, bab-" With a single kick to the face, the drunk was out like a light. The rest of the people in the Yellow Flag decided then and there that Juri was not one to mess with.

"Kid, you coming?" Juri asked Clementine without turning around. "It's no longer safe here."
