Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

Though the blizzard finally let up, Akiko found herself back in Cait's tavern, and with her seemed to be the two dolts of her team. The two she had been looking for back in the world they had just been in. Whether it was just supernatural magic out of her control or something that the two girls did, Akiko was unaware, though the scornful frown on her face told the two girls everything they needed to know. With a dreadfully calm wave of her hand, Akiko's borrowed Red Relic vanished from her figure.

"Captured by slavers. Really?" Akiko scolded her cohorts, still amazed that the situation happened to them. Rose advertised herself as this cool pirate, then... this happened. Great. Just absolutely wonderful. Whatever the case, she wasn't going to hear it. She wouldn't let her annoyance screw with the atmosphere in the room, even if she very much wanted to. Hell, she was pretty confident that she could.

She felt it'd be... rude... of her to not at least say hello to the newcomers in the room. "Evening, White Masks. Was your first adventure successful?" She wanted to know. If it wasn't, then there was likely no use of these White Masks to Akiko, and if it was, well, surely she wouldn't have to explain her intents, right?

She walked over to the new 'shopkeep' in the room, recognizing the face of the booth owner due to a vision through a certain someone's past. "Heard quite a bit about you, Emilia." Akiko said flatly. "Kind of glad Lorelai and Asgard didn't get to you before you got out of that situation."

Akiko brushed the hair out of her face and back to the side before she offered a small smile. "Of course, I'm not gonna do anything. I'm just here to make business."

Ah jeez! He was almost there, too! Smiley skidded along the ground slightly before he ground to a complete halt, snoozing on the ground awkwardly as Skylar felt his heart start to pound. This was not a good situation for him to be in. What made things worse was the U-Turn that was coming towards Smiley's direction. Though Skylar was pretty confident Smiley could take that hit and get right back up, he was fairly sure it would be a nasty hit onto Smiley, though if Skylar sent anyone else out...

"Puff!" Celebrity angrily interrupted Skylar's thoughts, staring up at him with a frown. It took only a second for Skylar to know what she wanted to do.

Skylar raised up Smiley's Pokeball, calling him back to his side of the field as Celebrity jumped into the fray, taking Smiley's place and beefing through the attack. If there was anything apparent, one thing certainly was... Celebrity was getting fired up.

Skylar, meanwhile, let Smiley out of his Pokeball as he started to gently shake the Murkrow, trying in a desperate attempt to wake him up from his slumber. "Come on, Smiley! Wake up bud! We need you to help us finish this fight!"

"C'mon! We can keep this assault up, can't we?!" Pestilent shouted amongst her fellow Guardians, who were most definitely starting to falter among their own ranks. Most of the guardians who were here were still new, and the distribution of power wasn't exactly the most even thing around. There were squads of five level 1s and squads of six level 3s, though if they fought together things would definitely be working out much better for them. At least they knew that the bladed fighters should stay in the front with everyone else taking up the back, even if they kept backing up into the Grand Library. Hopefully they didn't disturb too much of the peace, Pestilent didn't want to get kicked out of the library.

That being said, Pestilent was easily thriving with the hordes. Sure, undead resisted her unique debuff to a point, but with just how many zombies there were the resistances meant very little to her shields, which held strong. The idea of her debuff not being resisted here made her mouth water behind her mask. Alas, she couldn't do much about that, so she just had to keep things going.

"Hold your charges, knights!" Pestilent commanded the groups, each one responding with their own form of affirmation. "If we stay in here, we're going to get swarmed easily!" She called to her underlings, directing her shield onto a stronger knight so he could take the brunt of the bl-and there he goes. Shame, she really needed a strong knight to-

"Comin' through! Hop'n M'lady Em'rald!" The familiar voice of Lord Reddick the Rhino roared, his arm sweeping up Pestilent onto his shoulders, his lance impaling all the way through a zombie. Pestilent was... surprised, to say the least, though she did know that this might actually be a good idea. She snapped her fingers as her drone rerouted, flying in front of Reddick's lance and activating Unfinished Agony, the zombies in front of Reddick melting in front of him and providing him with shield to keep moving through the crowd.

"Guardians! Charge!!!" The rest of the guardians behind her and Reddick started after the two, following behind them as tons of Ultimates were activated. Dozens of zombies fell, leaving an open pathway for the rest of the Guardians to rush out of the Grand Library and back into the streets, hopefully towards downtown. Strength in numbers was a big idea, so maybe they could get the Crusaders to help them with this chaos.

She glanced down at Reddick. "Nice save, Rhino!"

"No worries! Figured I needed t'make't up t'ya! Kee'up them shields, lass!"

"Will do!"

Oh god. That's... uh... not what Digbie was expecting. Mahya was definitely shown to him as a way for him to join, a way to spread young and whatever, but he was honestly expecting a young and impressionable goblin, not as mature. Maybe more like he was just a few days ago. Regardless, he needed to think fast about what to say, and more importantly, how to say it. After a moment passed, he realized something, this was a scary fight, but not too hard for the group to take on if they were careful. Perhaps he could sway this situation into even more of a benefit, for his own sake and the sake of these goblins. Digbie took a small breath, then spoke to Rags Nar, eyeing down the big boy behind him and also inspecting Mahya to see if she was special.

"Ahaha..." Digbie placed a hand to his forehead, laughing, before he snapped towards Rags with a cold voice. "You come here, asking for me and my friends to help your silly tribe, and you brought with you some dusty rags and... a wench?! What sort of offering do you call this?!" Digbie angrily glared down Rags and his cohorts, appearing ready at a moments notice to strike him down with whatever demonic powers he may have had. He deactivated Tremor Sense II and toggled Earth Vein II on to add to the effect, with sigils glowing on his skin, before he gently lowered his hand and started laughing again. "Ahaha... you're funny. Hilarious, even. One might even say you've caught my interest."

He began to pace side-to-side, his eyes still trailing on Rags as he took each step. "I suppose... me and my pets could come and see if you truly need our help at your tower, but due to the... gifts... you've given me, I'm not convinced you truly need my help. Though, you can earn it right now! How lucky you must be!" he smiled devilishly as he pointed his blackened finger to the clothes Rags dumped out. "Mahya, was it? Please, put on that shirt, then bring the rest of the clothes to me, as I'd rather you stay safe from something that may hurt you. There's some nasty stuff in this forest, you know." Digbie's voice notably changed, being much more pleasant and polite towards Mahya. Though, it wasn't long until Digbie's voice returned to being cold, his eyes narrowing onto Rags yet again.

"As for you, Rags Nar... release your goat. Not to me, but to the wild. Surely, if you need my help oh-so-badly, you'd gladly release such an animal back into the wild, correct? Or do I need to bide my time elsewhere...?"

Another one down, but another one down for him too. Skylar held up Mac's Pokeball and brought him back. He was down two Pokemon, but all was not lost! He still had Seabreeze, JoJo, Celebrity, and Smiley! His friends and he could get through this battle, he knew it! Lorette sent out a Butterfree, and Skylar figured that it was time to give another bird a shot. He pointed out into the battlefield and called out his next Pokemon. "Smiley! You're up!"

"... Krow." Smiley didn't move at first, but after taking a glance at Celebrity's angry glare, he decided it'd be best to get into the battle. He flew over into the ring, tipped the feathers on his 'hat' down, and shot a nasty look at the Butterfree. If Smiley was gonna fight, he was gonna make sure it was filled with character.

"Give it your best Peck, Smiles!" Skylar called out, and his Murkrow understood, immediately rushing up to the bug and jabbing his beak right at the bug's big pink eyes.

Ash didn't respond. Okay... maybe she was waiting for him to respond first? The look in her lizard eyes gave Digbie that idea, anywho. "I-I got a quest to fashion beads of prayer. I wanna see if maybe the stone from that Rat is a good candidate to be a bead. I dunno how I'll string 'em yet, but I'll figure it out as I g-" Digbie stopped when he heard the horns of the Broken Tower Tribe really close by. Oh gosh, that wasn't a good sign. Far from it, in fact. "Oh no, I-I think that's Rags and his gaggle."

Digbie stopped his practicing and began to think. So he could let the others keep practicing for a few minutes before they show up and risk them seeing what's going on, or Digbie could try and convince the group to keep the element of surprise. Of course, this wouldn't work out well, but for all Rags knew, the lizards and sprite were effectively Digbie's pets. He could stand to reasonably convince the Goblins Digbie was far more powerful than he let on.

"G-guys, stop the stuff for just a little bit." Digbie told the group. "If we keep them in belief that you guys are somewhat normal, we can just play it off. Surprise them down the road, if the need arises. Regardless, get ready. We might need to fight if it comes to that. Until then, I'll do the talking!" He felt the ground shake around him slightly, assuming that it was Torrent who was picked up with activating Tremor Sense III. Good, she was getting into a safe position. No doubt she could do a ton of damage if she wasn't seen.

AS for Digbie, he got back to practicing. If the Broken Tower Tribe came upon him learning how to hone his Mana Orb, then he could play it off as him getting stronger far easier than he could if his wyrm was using telekinesis, or if Torrent was talking. For now, he just kept trying to condense a Mana Orb into a smaller, more compact form, and if it happened to be harder and stick around permanently, then good.

His sigiled skin gleamed against the sunlight as he activated Earth Vein, as well. Maybe it made him slightly more intimidating.

Uh oh. That... wasn't good.

Skylar held out Paradise's Pokeball and called her back to it. She'd need to take a good rest in there for a little while, no need to keep her out when she needed a real nap. Though, with Paradise down, that brought the score down to 5 versus 5, and this Escavalier was standing there being ever-so menacing to Skylar's team.

What to do... what to do...

"Mac, get in there and hit it HARD with an Ember!" Skylar shouted, Mac immediately springing into action and leaping forward into the ring. He charged the Escavalier, an orange flame sparking from his mouth as he let it loose towards the Escavalier. If it didn't miss, it was sure to cause at least some damage, maybe enough to take it down, but that was also unlikely. Skylar'd just have to play this by ear, then.

"Yeah! Let's go, Paradise!" Skylar cheered on his friend, fist pumping as his resolve was steadied once again. Paradise wasn't going to be able to take many more hits, but she was standing pretty proud so far with this fight. Maybe it'd go well from here on out, as long as Lorette didn't throw Skylar a curveball with her next few Pokemon.

Escavalier was sent out, and Skylar had to think for a moment what to do. Razor Leaf wouldn't be useful here since Escavalier was a Bug/Steel Type, Stomp wouldn't be a terrible idea since it could cause the Escavalier to flinch, but the best move for damage seemed to be Gust. It wasn't resisted and it could probably do some small damage before Paradise was knocked out.

"Paradise, keep up the Gusts! Try and get as much damage in as you can!" Skylar commanded, looking down at Mac who was a bit grumbly from being pulled out. Thankfully, he wouldn't likely have to wait for very long to get right back into the thick of battle. Steel was weak to Fire, Bug was weak to Fire, this was an opportunity Mac was made for!

"I-I don't remember Rose or Kanbaru having this level of power!" Akiko shouted amidst the blizzard. Her arms covered her face to keep the biting cold out of her eyes. This was quite a brutal storm, so that ruled out either of her 'party members' from doing this, save if either of them got a card that'd let them do it. Akiko slid off Durgan's back once he had safely landed, patting the beast affectionately, albeit quickly, before looking back to Lorelai and Asgard.

"I'm going on ahead! If you don't find me, I'm probably gone!" Akiko raised her arms back to her face as she turned around, staring the prison down behind pale arms. It was going to be a tough fight to get through, absolutely, and Akiko had to admit, she was terrified. Complete fear. Though, she considered that. Fear was just her showing that she was reluctant to do something. If she wanted to get her posse of great knights at her side, she'd have to brave up eventually to be the queen they stood under.

She trudged forward, boots crunching against the snow softly. She waved her hand in front of her, drawing forth Asgard's card and revealing the Red Relic in her hands. Despite the blistering cold, she could feel a sort of warmth emanating off it. She gently placed the relic around her neck, feeling the bloody power coursing through her arms. She didn't know what she could really do, although she was fairly certain she'd know soon.

"Alright, you little shits. Where the hell are you...?"

"These should be good stones. At least, I hope they are." Digbie said, pocketing the Hard Stones, Quartz Pebble, Shiny Stones, and Smooth Bead. He instinctively placed the Quartz Pebble and Smooth Bead into a separate pocket on his satchel while he placed the other four stones into his bag loosely. He could fetch them out if he needed. For right now, he remembered that the Rat from yesterday had indeed held a stone in it's mouth. Maybe it'd be a good idea to go ask Ash where that went.

He looked up at the sun, basking for a moment in it's glory before smiling softly. He believed he could do just what he was hoping. He was ready to get the sins out of his body so he could advance things without that on his conscience. That being said, he knew he had quite the journey, and of course he could work on it over time. Until he knew he had all the stones he wanted, he'd just pocket and hold the ones he wanted. Heck, maybe he could harden Mana and make it a permanent stone...?

That... wasn't actually too farfetched of an idea. Maybe he could actually do it?

Digbie returned to the scene of the group, walking over to Ash who was busy breathing in a ton of air. Digbie didn't immediately understand why, but he began to cook up a small Mana Orb in his hand as he began to think of his question. "Hey Ash? D'you remember that Stone that we found in the Rat? I'd like to check it to see if it's good for something I wanna do."

As Digbie waited for an answer, he looked at the Mana Orb he was cooking up. With all the experience in his little demiblin brain, Digbie tried to condense his Mana Orb into a much harder, stonelike state. Who knows? Maybe with his quasi-expertise of Earthen Magics, he could manage to create a Mana Stone that he could use as a bead. Hopefully he could do that, anyway. He couldn't help but add Magic Analysis onto his efforts, hoping that his analysis of trying to solidify Mana would prove him some good in seeing if his efforts were even reasonable.
