Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

"Well, you can summon little old me for starters. Or you can use my power of transformation! I can transform body and soul from one thing to another."
Monkey, as given from Gecko on Discord

"... I've gotta be honest, that would've been much nicer to have before I absorbed Smitten Kitten for just these cat ears and tail..." Akiko pondered in her mind for but a moment, instead snapping back to reality as she saw the motorcycle piloted once by a "Kanbaru" flying its way towards the bank and, coincidentally, the duo of Akiko and Lorelai. She didn't have much time to think before Akiko flung herself towards Lorelai, pushing the knight to the side and out of the way of the hurtled motorcycle. Compared to all the work that Lorelai and Durgan did on the door moments before, the motorcycle was the last piece of the puzzle that broke down the door, tipping it right into the next wall. From there, the bank vault was almost open. All the two needed now was to br-
KA-BOOM!

... the explosion caused by the wrecked motorcycle was just enough to crack open the wall. Sweet.

"... augh... sorry, didn't want you getting pegged by that bike." The catgirl rolled off of Lorelai and stood back on her feet, looking inside the bank and feeling proud at the sight of the open vault. "C'mon, we've still gotta keep moving, especially with the hordes behind us."

Assuming that Lorelai followed in, and Durgan being left to keep the hordes at bay, Akiko ran into the vault and pulled out the small shortsword she had for safekeeping. Sure, it wasn't really much, but it managed to pry open a few deposit boxes so she could gain access to them... though, interestingly, the money that she kept grabbing dissipated on contact with the bard's hands. At first, it was a little confusing, but placing a hand on her hip revealed that there was yet another card attached to it. Looking at it revealed that Akiko was actually obtaining the money she was touching, however it was being stored in some sort of way on this card, and reading it revealed that she had grabbed 3,000 Bees... wait, bees? She was sure that she had grabbed around 30,000 dollars so far from this heist (since the dollars did evaporate when she touched them), but why did they convert to bees of all things? Ah, no matter. It still seemed to work, as Akiko kept placing her hands on whatever money she could and the number on her currency card kept rising higher and higher. She managed to make it up to... 15,030 Bees on her card before she decided that the duo had to split.

"We've got everything we needed, I think. 150 grand should be able to cover us for a while. Hopefully, what with the bar's prices still kind of in the dark." The catgirl leapt up to the back of Durgan once again, holding out her hand to summon the Red Relic into it. Once she felt it's familiar power, she sent her hand forth and snapped, a small amount of zombies fidgeting and squirming before they began to fall into a pile of viscera and gore, melted from the heat of their own blood. Akiko, admittedly, felt a little dirty about it, but if they were mindless anyway... well... maybe it was fine? In any case, there was now a path for Lorelai and Akiko to leave with, and thankfully there seemed to be an airship directly above the road they were on.

Akiko looked back to the vault to see if she had missed anything, but all she saw was that a few feet away was the rider of the motorcycle. She looked... awfully a lot like Kanbaru, but... well, she wasn't sure if she was. She didn't have that feeling that was Kanbaru's anyway, at least not exactly. Still, Akiko shook her head and leaned over off Durgan to offer a hand for the motorcyclist.

"Hop on, we gotta get out of this horde so we don't lose these games."

"Hm, what to do now..." Skylar pondered aloud. The room they were in certainly had an exit, but to where that was... well, not very many locations overall. The West was blocked by Beheeyems, the North too high to pass, and the South not very much of note. There was also the other room to the East, which Skylar thought was pretty barebones overall too. It extended further than the direction Skylar and Vivia came from, but that was pretty much it, since Skylar wasn't too focused on it to care much. Really, the North direction seemed to be the one that would hold the way further.

The only problem? It was a bit too tall for the two kids to climb to, unless something happened... like the water rising higher... wait a second.

"I think we need to go North, though it's not going to be easy to climb. We might have to get our shoes wet with this room, Vivia." The blind boy started, grabbing JoJo and placing the Pokemon on his head. "The way I see it, we don't really have much of a choice to get up higher unless our path is made for us like the Claydol breaking that pillar. So... we need to wait. The water seeping in here doesn't show any signs of stopping, that's for sure, so we just wait for it to rise higher and higher until we're able to climb up. It'd take longer for that, though, than it would for a Swablu to cross all of Hoenn..."

The boy put a hand to his chin in thought. "This is only a theory, but if we were put through the ringer with our thoughts prying at us, then getting put through it again with almost drowning might be another considerable thing. Even then, we do have our way out if things get too hairy riiight here." Skylar patted JoJo's leg affectionately, the Ralts giggling. "Teleport should be able to get us out of here in a jiffy."

Level 10. Heck yes.

"Hey guys, uh, I just hit 10. I got a glitchy option for evolving too, almost like it doesn't... well, exist yet." Digbie offhandedly said, sheathing his new Steel Arming Sword and passing yet another bag to Ash. She could use that one too, in case she wanted to carry a lot more things almost like Digbie was. He stepped over to the stream and cupped his hands full of water, allowing himself a decent drink so his thirst would be quenched. He snacked on one more Rat Jerky to fill up his stomach, too, before he stood in the center of the camp.

He took a moment, placed his Prayer Book in front of him, Maiden Effigy on top very neat and central, and he sat in a criss-cross position. A little awkward for him, since his legs were definitely longer than most other humanoids his size, but it'd be fine. He gazed over his skills and realized that 11 points was... actually quite a fair bit of wiggle room for him. Not only that, but he had a few skills almost ready to level from there. Regardless, he knew what he was going to do. He allocated three points into Point Strike, first, just to polish that off. Moving along from there, he dipped 7 points into Spiritual Awareness so he could hopefully protect himself from any ethereal threats and such. Lastly, well, he didn't have a ton of anything to use, so he'd just pocket that last point. Who knows, maybe he'd find a good use for it later.

Once his points were allocated, he looked over at Oberon. "I'm gonna evolve. I think I might need you to check in on me after this is all over. Odds are... I might need a nap, heh." Digbie smiled to the group before he closed his eyes and began to meditate.

"I'm going to evolve into the Palablin. Jehanne... please protect us as I evolve, as I cannot do so for my friends in this short time."

Hopefully, with everything right, the Yill on his head would bloom into glory within a few minutes.

Akiko held onto Durgan's back tightly as Lorelai guided the beast through the city. She was still getting used to that feeling of being on the massive back of Durgan, that's for sure. Though, hopefully within time, this would get less and less troublesome, especially if Akiko kept Lorelai out more often. She did give off a solid protective vibe, and it made Akiko feel much safer, but... oh, whatever. That wasn't the point right now. She needed to keep her head in the game.

"Lorelai! Over there!" Akiko pointed towards a nearby bank. Getting money was a very solid idea for the future, whether it was buying things at Cait's bar or just having something to sell. At least, hopefully this was a bank that had physical money of some sort. If not then things would definitely be pretty slim... that is, unless the bar took currency of a digital variety, but if that's the case then Akiko probably needed to get back to Miso for around thirteen minutes, just to check her accounts. "I think we could use some money, wouldn't you say, Miss Luxonne?" The catgirl smiled, pulling out one of her other cards and attempting to try something.

"Hello, Monkey? Mind if a darling catgirl asks what your Serei card can do?" Akiko thought, looking at the Monkey card in her hand. She needed something, anything, to go off of for this, or else she might be throwing a card to the wayside again for no reason. She didn't even know if there would be any response, but she just had to try something.

Skylar paused for a moment to catch his breath, JoJo patting him carefully on the back as he stood with his hands on his knees. "Ohhhh man... that was... certainly a test of willpower. Good thing we made it... oh...?" The boy began to walk towards the center of the room, stopping at the red plate and holding it up momentarily before he placed it in his bag. "Interesting... probably should ask Kalmia about it, eh?"

Skylar returned to the main part of the room with Vivia, thinking about things for a moment. "Can't really get a feel on either direction. Hm..."

"Rraall~." JoJo cooed on Skylar's shoulder, simply watching the boy try and figure out a path.

"... I have an idea." Skylar snapped, grabbing a few of his coins out of his bag. Strange, since he had a large abundance of bronze 1P coins, but it'd certainly help out at something. "We'll go down the longer left path, but right here at the entrance..." Skylar placed one bronze coin down right at the door they just entered from. "This coin'll be here. In case we need to turn back and find our way out of here, we can use these coins to track where we've come from."

Skylar prodded around until he was at the immediately longer of the two paths, and looked back at Vivia. "Worst case we need to turn back. Best case we don't. At least we won't have to worry about any bad emotions this time... hopefully."

"Shoot, not enough." Digbie huffed before he held up the new pack he made. Ah, well, at least he made something better that he could hand off to Ash. Plus, he learned a little more about the crafting skill from that, so he could improve on it.

"Need another bag, Ash?" Digbie asked, gently passing the bag he had just made to her. "This one might be a bit better for you than um... the old one." Sure, it wasn't much for a crafted bag, but it was better than nothing. "... oh! I still have those Mushrooms too! They're yours if you want them!"

Digbie headed back to the bunch of loot and such that he had, and pondered how he could squeeze out that last bit of experience. Then, he had an idea. He fished his Rusty Chipped Arming Sword out of his bag, placing it on the ground a few meters away from him. He placed his hands out in front of him and began to use {Soil Manipulation II} with {Dual Casting}, creating two clumps of loose soil and dirt. Of course, this wouldn't be enough to do much of anything, but Digbie had a plan.

"Alright. System, I'm Crafting I think."

Carefully, as to not hurt the blade itself, Digbie ran the dirt clumps along the blade, attempting to shave off any base level imperfections from the metal and everything. Effectively, Digbie was sanding the blade down with his magic acting as sandpaper. It might not be much to look at now, but hopefully with enough time he could get a sheen on the blade that'd make it look a decent amount better. Once most of the rust and small imperfections were off the blade (or if Digbie ran out of mana), Digbie grabbed his Whetstone and began to tend to his new sword, working out any major imperfections with the Whetstone. Unknowingly, he activated {Overwork} just to slam out some of the more difficult parts of the sword's blemishes.

Digbie grabbed some more of the parts he had, still on this crafting grind, and began to work with things. Using the remaining Leather Strips, Unknown Pelts, and Hex Cat Pelt, alongside four of the Dirty Cloth Strips and the Hard Shell, Digbie began to tie what he could together. The two Leather Strips would work out fairly well for straps to hold over someone's shoulder, and the pelts when sewn together with grass could form into a decent sack. Sure, it wasn't the greatest thing (or decent in many other terms), but he did think for the given situation... this wasn't bad. He took some of the Cloth Strips and worked them into the Hard Shell, attaching it to the back of the new crafted item to see if it'd provide just a little more defense than the rest of the gear.

After the new bag was done, Digbie stood back up from the ground and looked over his work, chomping on a piece of Rat Jerky from the pile as he used Material Analysis on his tempered sword and his newly made pack.

"Ohmigosh, I can almost level up to 9 right now." Digbie noted as he heard someone breaking through some kind of membraney... thing. Ash was evolving, and finally reemerged into a winged bipedal... thing. Cool, finally someone else had arms and legs other than him. "You didn't miss much other than me dividing loot out for all of us and... those two practicing skills. Though, I'm actually just about to hit level 9. We all might be able to evolve before we leave here and find a new camp, since it's not safe here."

Digbie sat for a moment before he pointed to the loot pile with all of Ash's gear in it. "I figured you could use that when you had... uh... four legs, but now I think you might be better off with the chain mail that I was gonna give to Torrent since she doesn't seem too keen on trying it."

Digbie sat for a moment in pondering of what he could do to level some more skills before he realized something. He could probably juice out a little more analysis points by checking the group now that Ash evolved. So... he sat there for a moment and looked up at each of his allies, using Monster Analysis and Magic Analysis to maybe crank just a little more out of the group.

After that... well, he had his crafting skill now. Maybe he could try and actually make something that would be decent armor, or at least maybe storage. He took two of the leather strips he got from the boot, two of the dire rat pelts, and one of the unknown pelts before he tried to make some kind of bag out of the combination, using {Fortify} and {Crafting} to try and make a pretty stable bag that Ash could use.

The presence was chilling, and it was damn near overpowering. Skylar felt every single thought that pestered his mind, prodding at him and trying to get him to turn back to leave. Every thought that touched his mind slowly caused him to slow down, further and further, until he bumped into Vivia after her full stop. He pushed up his sunglasses onto his forehead for a moment and rubbed his eyes. It was... definitely intense.

He looked at the dark green Pokemon on his shoulder. "J-JoJo... how are you holding up...?" When he didn't hear a response from his Ralts his attention got fully invested. Why wasn't... why wasn't JoJo speaking? He wasn't shaking, panicking, he looked pretty stoic. Maybe a little concerned for Skylar himself, but otherwise the Emotion Pokemon was fine.

"... alright... here goes nothing." Skylar bluntly said before grabbing hold of Vivia's wrist in a fireman's grip and beginning to powerwalk. He prodded everywhere he could in front of the duo with his cane, watching out for steps and cracks in the path where he could feel them. After a moment he spoke to Vivia and Jojo (who was most certainly holding on, wearing Skylar's sunglasses in the process.

"Mesprit was the Being of Emotions, so Azelf and Uxie have to be beings of something related! This isn't anything but a test to our strengths and dedication as trainers! We just need to make it through here, Vivia!" Skylar explained, moving forward quicker and quicker. "J-Just... just trust me!!!"

"Straight it is." Skylar bluntly said, stepping forward and moving on. He began to feel the same darkness and grim nature of the path as he got closer and closer, his cane bapping into all sorts of rocks and clutter, but he didn't fret. He was certainly scared, though, and anyone could've seen that after a good look at the boy, but Skylar pressed on through the darkness. After all, what's darkness to someone that's blind anyway?

"R-r-raalll..." JoJo stammered. He felt the overwhelming presence and wanted to turn back, patting Skylar's head gently to try and coax him.

"I-it's gotta be a test. If not, we'll turn around and hot-foot it back. We'll be fine...!" The voice of Skylar seemed to reassure the Ralts, if only slightly. Maybe the boy was right. Maybe this wouldn't be too scary?

"C'mon Vivia. I won't know when to run if it is bad if you're not around." Skylar joked, but wasn't that slightly true? That's a sick twist, isn't it?

"Okay, we got a fair bit of stuff, so..." Digbie trailed off as he began to separate the piles of gear out.

"These... these are mine." Digbie said, pocketing the Whetstone and pulling the sword he was given closer.

Ash was the first person to get gear divvied out for. Digbie grabbed the Vine Bracers out of the pile and put them in Ash's pile first, since some sort of armor for Ash would be better than none at all. He also grabbed the Greaves and gave them to her, as well, considering Ash could probably use something else, though he wasn't sure if it'd work with her lizard build as well as it would a Goblin's.

Torrent was next up. Digbie grabbed the Haubergeon from the pile and placed it where her stuff would be. Some kind of armor for her had to be good, and given her... past tactics, something that didn't burn seemed like a solid idea. Everything esle, though could probably burn, so... Torrent can get the rest of her own gear. Maybe the Hard Shell would work as back armor if Digbie could refine it.

Oberon was... not easy. Due to how big the gear would be on the pixie, getting him gear was not easy in any aspect. So... Digbie grabbed the Bandanna out of the bag and put it to where Oberon's gear would be, maybe he could use it as a tunic or something better. Something that seemed like it's work for a melee weapon for Oberon, though, was the Iron Dagger. Maybe it'd be a two handed thing, but he could probably use it like a sword or something.

"... alright, that'll work for right now." Digbie heaved with relief. "That's Oberon's pile, there's Torrent's, and that's Ash's." He pointed at each pile as he said the names. "At least, that's how I divvied it. It's all for the benefit of the group, so..."

This left Digbie with the rest of the gear he could take from bits and places. First, he grabbed the other greaves from the pile and put them on over his pants. He also put aside his broken shield in favor of taking the Treebark Bracers.

<UNEQUIPPED - ARMS> Battle-Scarred Shield {Average - BROKEN}
<EQUIPPED - ARMS> Treebark Bracers {Good}
<EQUIPPED - LEGS> Vine Greaves {Good}
System: Digbie

After all that was done, Digbie grabbed the Stone Knife from the pile and began to try breaking down the Scrap Leather Boot, Fur Clothing, and Filthy Underwear into more usable strips and pieces. From there, maybe the group could try and make armor that would be a cut above the regular kind. At the very least, maybe they could make bags. It was a pretty good chance nobody wanted the filthy clothes, anyway.

<UNEQUIPPED - HAND> Woodland Pick {???}
<EQUIPPED - HAND> Stone Knife {Average}
System: Digbie

"Uh... System, how much could we get out of this for materials?" Digbie asked while he began. Hopefully when Ash came out of evolution he'd be able to see things. "A-And how close am I to leveling up? I just wanna check!"
