I started writing a poem about how poorly I perceive Trump, but I gave up.
Perhaps you should just stick to dick jokes? It's not that hard.
<Snipped quote by genghismike>
Kanye West had a product that people liked and a way of presenting himself in public that further built his brand and popularized his product line. In that way, Kanye's musical career is actually incredibly similar to Trump's political career. He's giving people what they want and in a way that attracts attention. You do not multiply your inheritance by several orders of magnitude and become a party leader in spite of a complete lack of political experience by acting foolishly. Trump is towing a line just like every other politician in the history, and not even the line that he's towing is anything new—just different from the lines towed by people with names like Clinton and Bush.
Ever heard of Ross Perot? The "giant sucking sound"?
Hm, I suppose you have a point. Pretty much the point I made that the masses are morons. But one still has to wonder if it's cunning to appeal to masses of morons, or simply a moron leading other morons. Clinton and Bush didn't actually believe the bs they spewed, they used it to gain approval and wealth. Trump ( and Sanders >.> ) seem to believe the crap they spout. But, then again, maybe it's just politics as usual.
