Jax kept his eyes closed with his head down for the remainder of this elevator ride. Soon though he felt it coming to a stop as he opened his eyes and looked up turning his head to watch the doors opened. He pushed off of the wall and was soon walking behind the group heading to the marker of 06 as he looked up at the suit. He had to strip down almost completely as he slipped into a skin tight black suite. It fit tightly on him. In honestly it was pretty standard affair, the suite helped support blood flow and keep it constant so that it won't pool in any one part of his body as well as keeping him insulated and helping his body maintain a steady temperature. The rest of the suite was a loose fitting cargo design, pockets going down his legs and he slipped on the knee pads. Playing the shoulder guards and elbow pads he moved around. They were very light weight and left his joints clear as to not limit his range of movement. On his back were two bladders, connecting to a tube leading up to near his mouth, nutrient supplements.
The last part was the helmet. He looked at it with those little nodes and that odd thing coming off the one side of it. He personally wasn't fond of helmets, not licking something blocking his field of vision. Bringing it over his head everything went black until he twisted it and it locked in place. Suddenly it booted up as he felt a cool chill in his skull as it linked up with his optics. Lighting up it soon it was like the helmet wasn't even there. The cameras even covering his peripherals. Soon the heads up display came on full function. Each team member now had an arrow pointing towards them with there number, a small transparent image even lit up as every time some one spoke it was showing location of sounds above ambient.
Now for the fun part, he walked over to the weapons table. His Tac display was highlighting weapons and gadgets , models as well as what they do. Though he saw what he wanted, lifting up the long barreled bolt action .50 caliber rifle. Recoiling barrel with a built in flash and sound suppressor and Bi-pod. The instant he touched it electronics in his suite linked up to it, even his HUD changed as it now displayed wind speed in the room, which was currently zero, as well as the rotation of the current planet. As he looked around a number kept changing, the distance from him to whatever he was looking at. He smiled behind that face mask as he brought the weapon up, looking through the scope he would still need to sight it in, pulling the reaching forward he pulled back the lever for the bolt as it slid back and he pushed it forward locking it in place. It was smooth and seamless as he strapped it to his back. Looking back down he pulled up an assault rifle, it was a long barrled rifle as well with an ACOG scope. It was your slandered afar with a safe, semi-, and fully-automatic and was fitted for a detachable silencer. He put that across his chest as he found a pistol and slipped it into his leg holster.
Bringing up his arm he opened up the small computer on his wrist, there was a screen but it also interfaced with his helmet as he was looking through it's functions. That weird thing on the side seemed to be a versatile electronic array, measuring sound it also had a distress beacon. He wagered it might be able to be rigged up to do other things, but tech stuff like that was never his strong suit. He had the ability to calibrate it, but he felt it best not to mess with that as he wouldn't know what he was doing. Closing that small screen he still had many empty pockets, for ammo, explosives and whatever he might need for a mission. Pondering though he took that straw into his mouth and took a quick drink, it was strawberry...he loved strawberry. He smiled to him self taking another little sip of it. "Worth it" he said referring to the months of surgeries and recovery it took to get to this point.
After the last few adjustments, making sure that the utility belt fit right, the ammo pouches were where he liked them and he even stretched moving around testing his movement once more. He even found the switch to his external speaker so people could hear him talk, though he left it off. Overwatch was talking about calibrations so he figured he would be able to get his weapons sighted soon, seeing as he never trusted a gun unless he sighted it in.
