Lila slinked her way closer to the source of the scent. It was one she had smelled before, but it was a long time ago when she was younger and was just starting to hunt with the patrols. Plus the scent had been old but the patrol leader had told them that it was humans and humans always brought trouble with them. There was a twig snap and Lila instantly dropped to her belly, flattening to the ground as she heard some more sounds. She hesitantly poked her head up and narrowed her eyes, seeing a group of them with those fur shelters. She turned tail and ran back to where she left Klondike and Amber, fixing a glare on the spot where they were SUPPOSED to have stayed. She put her nose to the ground and followed their scents, finding them easily. "I thought I said to stay put," She said to the pair.

Lila looked to the two younger wolves and sniffed the ground until she caught the scent as well. "You two stay here, I'll investigate," She said, lowering her body closer to the forest floor and began tracking the scent.
Yes, just be in the clearing for the moment since hunting parties have already been sent out.
Time for bed guys, I can't keep my eyes open anymore. Night.
Lila nodded, wincing in her head. She liked Amber, she was a sweet pup but not a very patient hunter. "I'll hopefully return before the sun gets too high in the sky," She said, standing and padding to Klondike and Amber. "Let's move out," She said to the pair before turning to lead out of the clearing.
"Of course, do you want large or small game? Small game would certainly be plentiful, we'll need to have more of the large animals during winter so it may be best to hold off unless we're lucky and there's lame prey," Lila said, sitting while she talked.
Lila caught movement from the corner of her eye and turned to spot Misty making her way over. She stood and met the she-wolf part way, wagging her tail. "Morning Misty," She said.
Starter's up, everyone's just in the clearing to start.
Ah, spring. The time when life begins anew and there's not a care in the world. Lila was pondering such thoughts while she laid on a sun warmed rock in the pack's clearing. She'd probably have to go hunting soon so it was best to relax now while she had the time. Spring was also one of the busiest times to get food since it was so plentiful.
Okay, we currently have four people, should we wait a little longer in case anyone else wants to join or should we start now?
