Hmm... Well, I think I'll only be limiting only one character per player to play as... for now. Considering we have a lot of players.

So, if you do make a new character, you'll have to choose one or the other to play as starting off, but if you're fine with that, then go ahead.

The opening post is in the works and wont be up for a while (give or take this afternoon), so everyone has quite some time to pair up into their Trio groups.

Edit: Opening Post is mostly done; just waiting on everyone to pair up so I can write everyone's starting scenarios.

I see your point. I can remove the gun, however, the bracer is really more or less a iPad mini type thing with highly advanced processors. Think super computer. It's only real abilities is as listed, provides power to machinery and helps process designs and such faster than anyone could.

I do see your point on the gun though, perhaps a pistol? Or hell he could just make a gun himself.

You could just bring a laptop or something with you instead, and just make it more advanced while in Aurora through upgrades if it's just a computer so to speak.

Eventually, you could just develop the bracer while in Aurora since it does count as an invention.

The problem is just this: The Bracer simply wouldn't exist in Earth because of the lack of technological advances, and because of the limited availability of resources for the common people- especially an insane person. He just wouldn't be able to make it. In Aurora? Yeah, he could. It's a fresh start with countless resources and possibilities, plus he has his powers.

Alrighty, Zombehs's concerns are actually pretty much my own concerns.

Our characters come from an Earth that is pretty much the same as ours, perhaps slightly different and what not- but tech wise, everything is roughly the same.

Having a deranged or psychotic character is fine, or a mentally unstable one- just as long as you're able to play them properly and it doesn't cause trouble for the others.

Being a technomancer or someone who creates stuff via technology- Alright, that's also pretty good and works fine as well. Matches the crazy scientist theme, so again, that's fine.

Now, comes to the problem: both the bracer and the gun.

Neither of these will suffice, since the technological advances of the Earth that everyone comes from is similar to our own, and because it honestly doesn't really sit well with me since everyone else has rather sublime and simple equipment starting off. Everyone is basically relying on their powers to survive here, not what they brought with them from the other world, and having someone starting off with superior advanced tech who came from the same world as them would shift the balance of things. Basically, its a power and balancing issue.

Although, if you wanted to spend time during the actual RP and slowly build those items up from scratch using his new found powers, now that's a whole different story and would actually be acceptable, since both the gun and the bracer would start off simple, but gradually get stronger as he makes improvements upon them.

If you're going for a mad scientist in another world idea; then I would heavily suggest removing the bracer and gun, tone down Technomancer so that he can easily make inventions, and then build upon the bracer/gun/any other ideas you may have.

Our characters are starting off small, and gradually get stronger and more 'heroic' and legendary so to speak.

Everyone should try to keep this in mind as an idea as how their powers will be growing.

@Gnar The Missing Link What kind of weapons are available? Guns, exotic custom? What kind of characters? Le average joes/brutes only mostly? I am /very/ interested in this RP and would love to make a character.

I just need the nitty gritty details of what is acceptable or not.

Basically... the weapons can be whatever you want as can the powers, honestly.

You could have someone with a summoned familiar that fights for you, someone who fights with a gun and a sword, someone who fights with a shield and a lance or an axe... Maybe you would prefer to be a mage who casts fire, lightning, or even ice- or someone who is capable of morphing metal to their will?

Perhaps you want to take inspiration from your favorite anime or movie, and would like to be someone who could jump/teleport from location to location or something like phasing through objects.

As for what type of character you want to have? Again, that's up to you. Average joe, brutes, tall and skinny, nerdy, snobs, somewhat overweight, to full blown sumo-size... your character can be however you want them to be.

The only limitation is as long as the powers and weapons are something I deem reasonable (such as not being overly realm-breaking or straight out inappropriate), and as long as the character is appropriate as well.

Also, @SilverDawn, that picture is being put up on the OP because I love it. Woolie- I mean, Arimax being framed up, and Tamaki's gigantic head in the background especially made me laugh.

Important Notice:

Since things seem to be getting rather full and are still active, I'll only be accepting maybe a couple or more sign ups at the very most as I start writing up the OP. Doesn't mean I will stop accepting sign-ups, it just means I wont be accepting anymore initially just so that the ball gets rolling for people.

For the most part, everyone will be split up into random small groups unless you all would like to be summoned with someone in particular and I have given the A-Okay. Maximum number per group will be THREE, unless specific events call for more per groups.

Make sure to go ahead and post your character in the Characters tab if it has already been accepted, and to let me know if there is anyone you guys would like to get paired off with.

I'm not one for being convenient, but-

-you could always have him show up in Aurora nude having just escaped from a nasty situation in Earth and have a kind passerby give him the nice looking clothes while in Aurora.

Hm... So, wait, Arimax is from Aurora? That wont work, since all the Characters have to be from Earth, and they don't know of the Scions or much of this world or anything that goes on here just yet. At most, they probably have spent maybe a couple of hours here in Aurora.

You'll have to rework his background and his powers, unfortunately. I'm sorry.

So far Darius is looking good, not too sure if you're done with him yet so I wont give any judgments yet.

Although, I would like to know what Radiant Eclipse does, and would like Lightburst to be a learned skill.
