Shadow repeated after him. "So long as I come willingly?" A low, slightly loud growl bellowed from deep within him. He got slightly closer to the sloth-man. "Is that a threat?" Shadow's fangs were shown slightly as he moved towards Jerric. "You should know how I feel about threats." Shadow was in front of him know. He turned him gently and gripped his shoulders lightly. "Do you see these men?" He whispered as his head and upper body lowered to the sloth-mans height. "They are all pissing themselves. They are surrounded by freaks like you and me, one shot would scare us, but nothing would be felt but recoil on their end." Shadow's head moved slowly to the other side of Jerric's head. "They control you..." He gripped Jerric's shoulders tighter and tighter as he spoke. "And you fear things. Me? I don't fear a damn thing." He chuckled lightly and let him go, he went towards the trailer, where he would feel most comfortable for now.

"Do you honestly think your weapons threaten me? Shadow slowly stepped out of the trailer, a few men got shaky while others backed up. Some other hybrid ran up with another guard. He calmly introduced himself and began to walk towards him. "Well Jerric, its no use to act calm now. I can smell your fear." He chuckled an evil chuckle and walked towards him just as slowly. There were two directions this could go, and Shadow was hoping the path of violence would win.

Oh geez, I forgot to add something at the beginning of my post /.\
The gates slowly opened and a large truck hauling a large trailer came into view."Go and get Jerric, quickly! Tell him one has ran behind."
"Yes sir!" The guard ran as fast as he possibly could, entering the mansion and catching up with the crowd. "Jerric, Sir! There... a large trailer... Running late... I assume...." The guard was huffing and puffing. He was leaning on his knees. "I was... I was told to tell you... it was running late... I don't know if... its of importance."

The truck came to a halt and the engine was quickly shut off. The driver left the vehicle and with an assault rifle in hand made his way to the back of the trailer. A few more highly equipped men surrounded the door that would fall soon. "Quickly! Create a perimeter and maintain distance! Do not let your guard down men!" The man that spoke seemed to be some kind of leader or officer. He looked back at the gate and made sure it closed before signaling to open the door. As soon as the door slammed to the ground, the two men that opened it backed up and raised their weapons quickly in syn with the others near the end of the door. A man with a clip board was standing behind the line and began to read off of it.
"Name, Shadow.
Age, 23.
Height, 8 foot 3.
Weight, 376 pounds.
Family, canidae.
Threat level, highly dangerous."
Silence filled the air for what seemed like hours on end. Some of the men made weird faces into the dark trailer. From the back of the trailer, heavy, steady footsteps were hitting the reinforced steel and one of the men managed to jump a little out of fear. The screech, like chalk screeching on chalk board, came from the middle of the trailer and stopped near the end with the foot steps. Dark orange eyes opened and gazed back at the line of men who were armed. A deep calm voice escaped from the trailer. "Ahhh, never trust the men in white lab coats. They lie often." The man with the clipboard didn't respond immediately. "Step out of the trailer Shadow, this is your home now."
"Yes sir!" The guard ran as fast as he possibly could, entering the mansion and catching up with the crowd. "Jerric, Sir! There... a large trailer... Running late... I assume...." Abilities: Not only is his hearing immaculate, he can also smell very well. His strength is quite good. His speed however isn't that great, it is one thing that he lacks. Aside from the powerful jaws are something to watch out for, as well as his paws.
History: Shadow was an orphan on the run. Why the scientists chose him, he would never figure out. He was a boy that was caked in mud and smelled like someone had been crawling in the sewers for the longest time. Shadow's fate was changed when a linen mask went over his head and he was dragged into a van. No one witnessed the kidnapping, for the streets had been quiet and it had been in the middle of night.
The process was absolutely excruciating. The anesthesia that they gave him didn't work, especially for the amount they had given the 8 year old. The original goal was to turn Shadow into a complete wolf. Instead, when they were close to completing their experiment on Shadow, he broke from his restraints and killed one of the scientists that were close by. Luckily, security was armed with a tranquilizer and fired a few darts to make sure he went unconscious.
They stuck him aside to deal with him last, but they never got to him. Shadow escaped to the woodlands, where he survived off of the land for a while. Years later, the scientists were back and they were prepared... With a few more tranquilizers...
