Current Sometimes it doesn’t matter too much what choice you make, as long as you make it quick and stick to it.

You should laugh every moment you live, for you'll find it decidedly difficult afterwards.

Bio

Hey there, I assume you want to know about me so here it is...

The name is gowia (g-ow-ee-ah) or Alex. Or anything else you come up with, I'm not fussy.

I am a 25 year old male, though comfortably I'll play anything as a character.

I am a Brit born and bred and so that is my lingo, I use British words and love my slang, and if I don't seem to make sense I may simply be using English idioms that don't translate outside the rural country abodes I swan around.

I enjoy all sorts of things, I am an avid football (soccer) player and supporter, adore music, and live for a good story. I am in love with history. So you will always get a decent plot or conversation out of me on that subject.

If there is anything else you need to ask, feel free too. I swear I don't bite... much.

Sounds like a show tune, Funny asf lyrics but not my type of music.

I like Twenty One Pilots, and am looking forward to seeing thim this year at Reading :P This is certainly one of their better songs and actually one I had kinda forgotten about, so thank you for reminding me of it!

8/10

With Pendulum back this year at Ultra I think the only thing I could do was part of their set with Knife Party and Tom Morello.
7.5/10 My complaint is that I want more. :P (It does sort of seem like an album interlude more than a real song/instrumental.)

(Curious what people will rate this. :3)

4-ish...right at the beginning all it made me think was "THIS SOUNDS LIKE A MASS EFFECT PIECE" and then it actually got going, bits kept me interested but very quickly I got bored I am afraid.

This is a favourite song of mine, and I am using the Whiplash scene for it because I am a huge fan boy for the film. Please enjoy

Camp Half~Blood

Peter laughed as Arianna put on the face, his modesty had had the desired effect. Still walking along he gave a quick wink before she begun to speak again. Having only known Arianna minutes he could already tell they would get on. He incessant positivity was practically infectious and left absolutely no room for uncomfortable silence or lack of enjoyment. Something he appreciated right now, though whether that was because Chiron recognised it and chose her specifically, or simply a random chance, he could not tell. Whatever the reason he was grateful for it and appreciated the girl. Her comments made him smile and chuckle, especially when she mentioned being her doctor. Though the smile faded when she mentioned a sibling. Brother? Well shit. That was news to him, though he it was likely to be the case, still, he was an only child at home. He had had friends with siblings and it never seemed like something he could get into.

It was then that Arianna turned on him, stopping the little procession of two sharply. He mirrored her expression as she closed her eye and poked her tongue out. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on but, it seemed, with Arianna the trick was not to question but rather just go along with it. What he wasn't expecting was her leaning forward, and hr top to fall slightly open. However rather than tempting him it only continued to be amusing and endearing. Smiling kindly he pulled his tongue back in and simply looked back into her eyes. Which seemed to bring her somewhat back to the moment, almost like a child when you reminded them of something they had totally forgotten. However there was a sparkle in her eyes that showed a lot more understanding than any child.Peter turned before he and Arianna could speak again, another new face it seemed. This one was for a moment less welcome. Who did this kid think he was interrupting. Followed by an inward chuckle, this was just someone introducing himself, he needed to relax. He accepted the offered hand and returned it with a little squeeze in the handshake.

"Son of Apollo, that's me." He chuckled. "Just call me Peter though." He then turned back to Arianna, she was still his guide and he intended it to stay that way. However the next words out of her mouth managed to trail into the down right unknown. Moving back so that the group was stood in a sort of triangle he looked between the two conversing. "Really I just want to know where I am putting my head tonight, where I can grab some food and when my activities are. I am sure someone will have a similar timetable to me and I can follow them around for the rest of the places." Noting the bottle Arianna looked at. "You couldn't get me something too, could you?" He smiled and then pricked his ears and raised an eyebrow at Charlie as Arianna mentioned the hots. Looking over expectantly but with no idea who they might be referring to.
@smarty0114 Not an issue at all, the more the merrier in my opinion :)

Camp Half~Blood

The girl was certainly...excitable. Catching her gently he was surprised at the brief kiss and the closeness but also took it in his stride and chuckled, more warmly this time, at the situation. This was someone who seemed she was going to drag him into enjoying the camp even if it killed him. Not that he minded, sometimes one person leading the way was good at the beginning. Her conversing with the hastily disappearing centaur told Peter this girl had been around a while, which he didn't mind and so his trust in her judgements were more concrete. If perhaps her judgements needed some deciphering. Her comment about the dream was amusing and he chuckled again. He felt this girl -Arianna- could have a full blown conversation with him for days, without him even having to say a word. He shook her hand, firmly enough but not actually squeezing. Before raising an eyebrow and smiling at her closeness and obvious energy.

"Ermm...I was told my bag is already at my cabin. So I suppose there last maybe? Ermmm I guess where I eat and where I can get a map might help. And the gossip can go in between the showing me around." He smiled, he already felt a little calmer now. Despite her energy Arianna was oddly soothing. Almost like he spent so much time keeping up with her, he didn't have time to worry. As she lead the pair away, Peter was more than happy to follow.

"Cute little curly-haired healer? I don't know about that..." He smiled. "Right now I am a tourist learning his way around. I mean, how long did it take you to get acquainted with the whole area? I know four people. You, Chiron, Argus and Dio-Mr. D." Peter corrected himself. "Relative to this place I haven't got a clue." His feet managed to keep up with Arianna's as they walked away. Hell. Even if he learned nothing today, he got to walk arm in arm with a pretty girl. At the latter parts of his holidays back outside of camp, that was a triumph during the day.

Camp Half~Blood - Obstacle Tower

Before he had even gotten a response someone was pissed off. The centaur had looked like something was wrong the moment he turned, never a good sign. Especially when he brought up a father Peter had never met. His father had spoken to Chiron? About him? Had to be a lie. However when the centaur put his hand on Peter's shoulder there was a strange warmth to it, the aged teacher portrayed his strength and his care well and oddly this soothed Peter slightly, visibly letting him relax a little. He was also grateful they had taken some refuge away from the other larger group, they were animated as they milled around, talking and seemingly in the throes of some debate or discussion. Though he couldn't tell.

The introduction to the camp he was given felt a little robotic in truth, something given hundreds of times before. Yet, it probably had been and whilst the selfish part of him wanted something unique for himself, the realistic part also understood that it would simply require too much time for something new every single time another -Half-god? No that wasn't right...Demi-god! That was what his mother had said.- appeared on their door. As Chiron gestured Peter followed with his eyes, appreciating the beauty and yet simplicity of the camp, in many ways it was totally relatable. A camp, in the countryside that had campers. On the other hand every detail was utterly alien. Everything had a twist that send his mind reeling.

The interruption of Dionys- Mr. D. was a stark slap to the face of Peter, he had been thinking as Chiron was speaking and now he was dragged back to acting. Giving a faint smile he then nodded slowly, he would have preferred to keep talking to his new apparent mentor of sorts however no one grew by sticking with what they knew. Especially since he had no idea about this who stealing business. Yet this new girl probably did, besides, she sounded as if she had been here a while. As Chiron left Peter turned to his newest guide. Smiling slightly he offered a hand.

"Peter Hasselbaink, pleasure." He was now in fact more comfortable, this girl looked a if she couldn't be much older than he was. Something about the shallow age gap was even more settling than Chiron's hand. Peter swiftly waved his hands around. "Care to show me around then, I am at a bit of a loss here." He chuckled slightly, before realising his chuckle may have been a little awkwardly placed and stopping. Damn. He was normally far more confident and calm than this, he was tipping and he was sure people could see it.
Peter would be eventing if he can for sure. Love the sound of it :)
@Vicier Will take a look through the event stuff now, and no worries! I totally get the real life first, no rush :)

Camp Half~Blood - Big House to Obstacle Tower

A son of Apollo. A son of, the greek god, Apollo. How did something like that even happen? Peter mused. He understood of course how it could happen, the biology was simple, but how does something that monumental just remain so...normal. It seemed unreal. The journey to Camp Half~blood had been short in truth, his mother had spent the entire time selling the campt him, like a holiday rep. Words so sweet he might have gotten diabetes were pouring out of his mother's mouth like syrup. Arriving at the foot of a tall tree it was surreal for Peter to hug his mother goodbye and turn to enter another vehicle, this time driven by a curly haired boy in loose fitting jeans and large hooded jumper. Apparently he was going to the 'Big House' to meet Argus who would be taking him through the camp.

Camp had always been wierd. From the time when Peter was 12 and he was sure one of the leaders had tried to choke him, to right this very second. Barreling along in a strangely old, yet well furnished four by four. In the vehicle a strange cream leather upholstery comfortably held Peter and his apparent chauffeur whilst softened suspension meant that the bumps and dips in the path and mud were virtually unfelt. In the front, a strange sight met Peter's eyes, more eyes looking back. But not just one or two eyes, tens of eyes, eyes on the back of the man's neck, on his hands and wrists. Argus, whom Peter had been introduced to upon his arrival, hadn't said a word. Silently driving him to the obstacle tower after one of the satyrs informed him that's where Chiron and Mr. D were. He vaguely recognised the name Chiron however the name Mr. D left a lot up to chance as to who that might be. Peter was looking out the window, his smile spreading a little as he marvelled at the facilities available. He had always been allowed to go see some of the best the real world had to offer, here went above and beyond anything he had seen before. It was all incredibly exciting, and somewhat intimidating. but then who was ever immediately the biggest fish in the pond?

The car slowly came to a halt and Peter nodded his head at Argus, feeling incredibly unsettled when the guard raised a single hand in farewell and an eye on the back of his hand winked. At least it seemed like a wink. Stepping out Peter felt immediately more settled the smell of the natural environment, the sound of positivity and the warmth of a gentle sun kissed glow. looking around he looked up with some wonder at the obstacle tower that a group seemed to be milling around. The group seemed assorted in their appearance and Peter liked that, the idea of cliques had always irritated him. Though perhaps in truth the cabin and family system replaced the cliques. Walking over slowly he carefully eyed p everyone he could, taking in every detail, his face unable to hide a slither of the interest that was welling in him. Approaching the collective which held the centaur he assumed was Chiron, Peter felt confident, yet as he came close that confidence waned a little. Who the hell were these people? Better said who in tartarus Peter supposed, although he still was only half wrapped around the situation.

Finally approaching the people he looked from face to face, hoping slightly that he was noticed before he had to speak. Especially in his state of bewilderment. However no one seemed too and so like a child much junior than he was, he quietly cleared this throat and spoke up at the Centaur first, might as well start with the one he could guess was Chiron. "Mr Chiron, sir, I think I was told you could talk to me about...this." He waves his hands dramatically to gesticulate his confusion.
