Depends on the size and shape, and how Winter tried to take it. If he pressed his body against it, and he's wearing good armor, he could have saved Whisper. But he'd be blown in half unless he had good armor. If he just sort of pushed Whisper out of the way, it would depend on her cover. But for all intents and purposes, Winter died a hero... And came back a legend.

Lucius what.
Wait

Are you honey coating
Hell, you are!

Well, Bane/Alec Trevelyan comeback it is.
I'll get to work on his story now, and also maybe talk to Vash about it later on.

Everybody thought they were chimeras.No. They're sherman tanks. The badass kind.

Everyone know's that REAL KINETIC WEAPONS ARE BETTER.

But nooo, you "Died" saving a mentally dysfunctional squadmate. Cause real world tactics used by horrible people are STUPID. =.=Originally, the child was lined with C4, but apparently she's got a grenade now. Go figure.

Bloody hell,

One: In the real world, I don't think I'd have a mentally dysfunctional squadmate. Sane people only is the Army's motto.

And second: Lined with C4? That would have killed Whisper anyways, me saving her or not.

Gravity:13:06 Winter died.Gravity:13:06 WowGravity:13:06 I'm...Gravity:13:06 And he died a boring deathGravity:13:07 I have failed my characters.Cause dying from a child bomber is boring as SHIT.

Hey, kids are boring as shit. Its boring, kay?

Like, I could've die- well, fake died fighting Satan himself. Now THATS cool. And awesome
The Behemoth would've been cool.
Blowing myself up to kill/save entire regiments would have been cool.

I wish I could dig up stuff from the old guild, just to dig up some of the applicants we had. Good memories. :DSuits me fine! I certainly don't expect you to be one of the guys who are like 'Killin' everyone in dah room with mah sword', I was using the Rambo thing to kind of illustrate why we have the skill system in place. :D So far, it's worked pretty well and people have adopted it for other games. Kind of a source of pride there. As for his fighting style, I was actually mulling it over when I was reading it, since I imagine he'd quite used to fighting in formations as a part of a unit, so I was kind of surprised at how you described it. Not that I'm concerned, I just thought it was interesting. With the equipment, it's similar to how we have the skill system. While the high-tier stuff is definitely nice quality, don't get too worried about what it's made of. Somebody with a cheap iron sword can still best a better armed opponent if he's a better fighter and so on. I always liked how orcish stuff was designed, with lots of jagged hooks.

Well, its like that because for the past couple of years, he's had to change his style. Without Legion backups, every fight is a paranoid fight to the death for him, because lets face it, he is incredibly scared of dying.

Hmm, let me edit the post. I like this idea. Don't worry, Winter is still for all intensive purposes "Dead" to those of eagle squad. But I'll be putting more description to make it seem...believable.EDIT: Done.EDIT 2: Glad you're loving this idea, Grav. I think every now and then we need something truly permanent to happen to our characters. Plus, if he survives through it and he ends up being mostly okay with lots of scars, he's so GETTIN SUM from whisper. Probably.EDIT 3: Oh god. DT was "I rather enjoy the idea of a cyborg winter" and it hit me. PYRO. IT'S SOVERIGN GRAVE ALL OVER AGAIN. WE GET TO HAVE FUN WITH WINTER'S ROBO WEINER.

This is hella brilliant!
This allows me to get some rest, while also getting to do what I do best! Be a villain! Well, it would be more like Hero here, but you get the idea.

ITS LIKE GOLDENEYE ALL OVER AGAIN

FOR ENGLAND, JAMES/GINGER?

Okay, so maybe we're both tapped out of ideas. But you can't give up Grav! Maybe Winter isn't dead yet, just horribly burned like Joshua Graham. Or that the body could be the child. So yeah, maybe neither you nor me can figure something out. But that doesn't mean we have to give up yet! Winter is the Behemoth Slayer, a mere grenade couldn't have done him in.

Well, maybe that's what we do need Grav. Someone who remind Eagle Claw that they are human, or at least have to try to be. In our current scenario we are committing a lot of war-time atrocities; maybe what we need is that one member of Eagle Claw who reminds us that we're suppose to be fighting for the good of humanity, not just for the Enclave.

Well, Winter was that man, and he's dead.
Good help the niceness to all humans was for him.

Okay, I have one quirky idea since I'm sort of running low on it: You can be a robot. Enclave is creating more advance combat AI's and want to send their current field model with the Eagle Claw. A heavy weapon's platform, but more akin to mobile artillery. He'd be the guy that would shell a building to it's foundation or destroy other vehicles. Alternative: melee specialist. Master of death up close and personal. Granted, most of us are pretty deadly when in melee as it is (Whisper is a powerful berserker, Golem's got a giant axe, Lucy can create explosions with her fist, etc) but this guy can do all of that, and more. He'd be the guy who would make the most use out of throwing weapons like knives and spears, and could even begin doing feats of inhuman ability, like shooting bullets from his fists like that one electrical dude from metal gear solid 3. Honestly I'm just shooting ideas here.

I'm sorry, I guess my time here is up then. No idea truly fits me, and I love baseline humans too much

Make a tribal. I think we need someone who could really live off the lands. Someone who knows how too cook up radscorpion venom sacks into a delicous treat, or turn a couple of knives and duct tape into a trap. We could also still use that "Smooth Talker" type.

But, you wouldn't NEED a smooth talker. We're a strike team, not Ocean's Eleven
And Winter already was both those archtypes.
Fine, I'll try to cook up something.
But killing Winter, while I realize was necessary, has put me in a tight spot. I hate making apps, and I have no ideas.
