Current I'm back!

Bio

Been rping for a long time now. Mostly been on and off but I'd say I started...oh...what was it, about 12 years ago? First rp was a Pokemon rp that went belly up fairly quick and then I met a group of people in a Legend of Zelda RP that I stayed in for many years, making a lot of good friends (and one or two enemies).

Really I like series themed RPs the most but I have done a few originals too. Both are fun. It's really just what you do with your characters and how well you get along.

I've been wanting to come back for awhile now, and here I am. Getting back in the game yo.

"Sounds good to me." Cale said as he gave a nod to the healer in thanks and left out the door. That had been an expensive job, he hoped that money was going to charity or something beneficial to the town. After they had left, the pair would venture back towards the inn, at which point they would find Leyya along the way. It seemed as if she was preparing a meal, which was a bit odd considering he had thought they'd be eating at the inn.

"Leyya? Is there a reason you're cooking out here?" Cale asked. He then looked around the immediate area and also noticed the absence of Sayuri and Marta.

"Where are the other two?" He asked.
Bah this is my fault for splitting the party. All those years of DnD should have taught me better.

I'll have Cale and Isaiah meet up at the Inn tomorrow if Swordfish doesn't post. Tomorrow as in 12 hours from now, it's about 2am here.
Cale listened intently to Isaiah's story. A village of werewolves. Nowadays that probably wouldn't be considered the weirdest thing people had heard of since the rise of the Morgal Empire, but before the rise of the Golden Sun that kind of information could be very unnerving to the average person.

"You know...legend has it that the Proxian people are descended from dragons. It's why we're scaly and have an affinity for fire. So being a beast person isn't all bad if that's true." Cale said, giving a toothy smile. Afterwards he chuckled a bit and nodded.

"Your secret is safe with me, Isaiah. But to be honest, I'm a bit confused as to why it needs to be a secret in the first place. I don't believe the others would care. But it is your choice." Cale said. Eventually they reached the small hut where the healer was located. Cale helped Isaiah inside where the healer was, currently unattended.

"Welcome, what services may I offer you?" The healer asked. Cale presented Isaiah and helped him forward.

"Broken bones and ribs. Also some cuts and burns." Cale said. The healer moved forward and inspected Isaiah before giving another nod.

"Yes I can do that. I will need to be compensated however, I'm afraid this service does not come free. 1200 coins please." The healer said.
I'm still here of course. My laptop charger is kaput so until I replace it it's hard to make posts. But I should be able to remedy that soon.
Cale looked up when Isaiah addressed him and nodded. He was used to these types of questions, it was odd after all to see a proxian in the world now. They used to be a rarity altogether, and the last ones that really made waves weren't very well loved for a lot of good reasons.

"Something like that. Exploring I mean. Up until a few years ago our people didn't really leave the north often. Some people left, but eventually it became very difficult to impossible due to the glaciers and severe weather. When that changed a lot of us wanted to go out and see the world. So we did." Cale answered. There was a little bit more to his own inspiration for leaving, but he didn't feel like sharing that just yet. He then turned to Isaiah and returned the question.

"What about you? I've never been to Garoh, but the way you talked about it before is there some taboo around that town? Why did you leave?" He asked.
Cale went ahead and applied Leyya's ointment, wincing a bit again when it stung just as Leyya warned. Afterwards he moved over to Isaiah and helped him up with one arm as they moved out.

"Come on, let's go." Cale said. Their destination was Suhalla which, if he wasn't mistaken, wasn't too far to the east. The group would move on away from the small crater of chaos they had been fighting in and would journey to the city at a steady, yet unimpeded pace. By the time they arrived at the town it was twilight. It had been a long day.

"I'm going to take him to the healer and get him patched up. I'm not sure where this scholar that Iodem mentioned is, but we should probably all go see him together so we can all get confirmation for the reward. Why don't you guys go get some rooms at the inn? See what the word on the street is?" Cale suggested to Marta, Leyya and Sayuri.

Cale blinked in surprise with Marta's tactics, even wincing a bit when she slapped him across the face. Here he was, a mighty warrior of Prox, wincing at a small girl slapping another man. The concept upset him, but he did understand Marta's intent even if it was...odd in its execution. He looked to Isaiah after Marta had spoken to him.

"Seriously, don't insult us by suggesting that we're just going to leave you at the first sign of trouble. We started this together, we'll finish it the same way." Cale said. It was kind of odd to say that. He hadn't known these people very long but they had fought together. Also there was the fact that he wasn't sure how much longer they were going to be together anyway. Technically their mission ended once they reached Suhalla. He snapped back to it when Leyya yelled at Marta and then started asking if he needed any medical attention.

Cale felt himself up a bit, he was bruised pretty well but no broken bones. He also didn't seem to have any severe bleeding, just minor cuts from being thrown through the brush. As for burns, the idea was kind of laughable to him.

"Uh, nope I'm fine. Nothing serious here. Anyone else need serious attention or should we be on our way?" Cale asked, looking to Marta and Sayuri specifically.
Cale nodded and did as he was told, being mindful to not bear down on any of Isaiah's ribs. He took a look around and noticed that most of fires had been put out thanks to Marta and Leyya's efforts. As soon as they took care of Isaiah they would be able to move, or at the very least they needed to get out of here soon. Isaiah needed proper medical attention.

"How much longer you think? Will we be able to move him after this?" Cale asked.
That's ok Amalvi, real life comes first. Today is Mother's Day anyway so I don't expect a large amount of progress today anyway.
