]"Guardian....hey, Guardian?....Frost." A feminine, yet tomboyish tone cut through Frost's thoughts and brought him back to reality. The white and black armored Titan looked up from his personal device and looked to see Amanda Holliday, the Shipwright staring at him with crossed arms. He often drifted into grimoire passages so easily it sometimes even happened mid-conversation. This wasn't the first time that Holliday had needed to get his mind on track and it probably wouldn't be the last. Still, the shipwright merely gave an exasperated sigh and shook her head before she started talking again.
"Look, I know that tech talk is boring to some people, especially you Titan types, but try to humor me ok? Your Regulus Class 77 needs a tune up in several areas. The radiation shielding is fried, the engines are overheating and don't even get me started on general life support. How you're not dead from reentry is a miracle to me." Holliday said, looking down at her computer as she ran through all the spec. Frost gave a sheepish smile and scratched his head, ruffling his short brown hair as his shoulders giving a subtle shrug.
"Cabal don't like low flying craft. Not my fault they're all walking tanks. I'm sorry if it'll be a lot of work though..."Frost said. Holliday shook her head and glanced out at the docking bar. She could spot Frost's tathered ship from where she stood and gave a sly smile. Frost knew that look, it was one of excitement. Holliday loved her job, but more importantly she loved ships. Repairing Frost's bucket of bolts would be a weekend outing for her.
"It'll be tough, but you can make it up to me later. Anyway you're going to be without a ship for a few days, is that ok?" She said, turning back to the Titan. Frost nodded and glanced back down at his grimoire. Truth be told, his transportation would be provided for him for this next mission. It wasn't one that he understood yet though, in fact there were bare minimum details to go on. The Speaker had requested him personally, along with several others apparently, but that was all he really knew about the task. Where were they going? And why did they need so many Guardians for it?
"Frost!" Holliday yet again snapped at Frost to get him to pay attention. Frost blinked and looked up before he saw the shipwright smiling and jutting a thumb towards a ship in the docking bay.
"That your ride? Your light bulb seems to think so." Holliday said. A quick spot check would make sense of Holliday's words. Frost's ghost, the small robotic guardian that had first brought him back to life, was now flying towards the docked shuttle. Frost gave a sigh and shook his head before he jogged off after it.
"Thanks Holliday, I'll be back for that ship." He said. As Frost approached the shuttle, he noticed another Guardian already there. This must be one of his teammates. Frost's ghost gloated closer to the hunter and examined her closely before Frost walked over and snatched the ghost back in one hand.
"Sorry, he does that." Frost said before taking a seat at the other end of the shuttle.
