Current I'm back!

Bio

Been rping for a long time now. Mostly been on and off but I'd say I started...oh...what was it, about 12 years ago? First rp was a Pokemon rp that went belly up fairly quick and then I met a group of people in a Legend of Zelda RP that I stayed in for many years, making a lot of good friends (and one or two enemies).

Really I like series themed RPs the most but I have done a few originals too. Both are fun. It's really just what you do with your characters and how well you get along.

I've been wanting to come back for awhile now, and here I am. Getting back in the game yo.

Lincoln was happy to see a couple of friendly faces, "Yeah, I am okay. But I don't know what to do about my health," Lincoln referred his red health bar, "But thanks for saving my butt guys." Lincoln looked at Dar and Geist, giving them a smile. "I know I shouldn't be out here alone, but I didn't know what to do when I found out...we're stuck in here." Lincoln looked around the grassland a little, "Where are you guys headed?"

Dar looked at the man and scratched the back of his head at the explanation. Yeah, that sounded like a pretty fair response honestly. After hearing that kind of news people were going to react in lots of ways. It suddenly occurred to Dar that he had revisited this thought process several times in a short period.

When Linc asked about his health, Dar took a look at the player's nameplate. His health was indeed low. If he wasn't careful, he'd get killed by a stray wind at this point. Without thinking much on it, Dar walked over to Linc and opened a trade window to hand him a basic healing item.

"Here, this will help. You should really pick some of these up next time you're in town, it'll save your life. Literally." Dar said as he transferred the item to Linc's inventory. At the question as to where they were going, Dar glanced back at Geist. Should he tell him? Should they bring him along? It seemed like that if Dar left Linc out here by himself, he would get jumped by wolves again and be killed. He couldn't let that happen, he wasn't going to save this guy just for him to die.

"We're going to Horunka. It's a hunting village on the other side of the forest. You can come if you like. That's probably a good spot to start leveling and it'll be easier to get there with company." Dar offered.

Imagine an epic battle against PKers.

I'm getting .//hack G.U vibes.
I'm all for epic boss rp battles. Love those. But I do like there to be build up with character interaction before hand. Can't always be fightin'.
Name: Ethan Baker
Age: 28
Occupation: Hunter, Skinner, Trader. Attempting to be a lawman.
Species: Human

Personality: Baker isn't a “beat around the bush” type of guy. If he wants answers, he will try to take the straightest solution towards it. This can make him come across as rough or unsocial-able at times, but in truth Baker believes he has the best of intentions. He has a strong sense of justice and has little patience for those that would take advantage of others for their own gain.

History: Ethan Baker has had a mostly stable lifestyle growing up. He was born to a small family, a stay at home mother and a father that would go hunting and sell his game in the town of Solomon. When he was old enough, Ethan started to go with his father on his hunts, which is where he would eventually adopt the trade on his own.

As he grew older, his father eventually passed to sickness. This left Ethan to take care of the household and thus he became the family's main source of income in trading with Solomon. Ethan grew into a fine hunter, an excellent shot, but also a bit of an outsider to the town. He did have one good friend in town, however, the Sheriff. After his father died the Sheriff always made it a point to look out for Ethan and help him and his mother however he could. The sheriff of Solomon always wanted Ethan to join up as a deputy for him but Ethan didn't feel like the job fit him.

That all changed when the Sheriff was killed by outlaws. The town of Solomon was put into danger and now Ethan's friend was dead. Out of respect for his friend and with a new found sense of justice, Ethan wants to set out to protect Solomon from any threats it might face and bring those that killed the Sheriff in for their just reward.

Weapons and Equipment:

Winchester Repeater Rifle, Cattleman Revolver, Hunting Knife, Rope

Skills:

A talented marksman, tracker and gunslinger. No magical knowledge and limited supernatural being knowledge.

Weaknesses:

Baker knows nothing of magic and little experience with the supernatural. He has heard the tales, but his firsthand experience is very limited. As such, when it comes to fighting an opponent that takes more than a bullet to put down, Baker is going to have his hands full.

Outside of the range, Baker also has very little experience with politics. A silver tongue, he has not.
Would it be too early to be asking about potentially creating a unique skill? I wouldn't be using it anytime soon, mind you, but I had something in mind and I wanted to pitch it and see if it would be viable in the distant future.
I would kind of like to wait on @_Middle_ for a little bit longer to respond and make proper introductions before we time skip if that's ok.
I'm still interested! I'll try to get a CS up tomorrow.

Would there be room for someone actually trying to be a lawman after the Sheriff's death? : P

Dar continued to move towards Linc while keeping an eye on the position of the wolves. It seemed that Geist was handling himself well enough, though Dar couldn't quite figure out if Geist was just caught up fighting his own opponent or if he really wasn't going to help him with Linc's wolves.

It wasn't important at the moment, he had to stay focused. The wolf that Dar had parried wasn't done with him yet. The wolf started after him again after it had picked itself up, and was hot on Dar's heels.

"I've had just about enough of you!" Dar growled. As the wolf closed in, Dar took a stance and brought his sword back across his body and over his shoulder.

<<Back rush>>

Dar brought countered the weakened wolf and cleaved it in half. Rather than being attacked again like before, it seemed as if the fighting had died down. Dar made his way to Linc and checked him for any serious injury. He glanced back at Geist and gave him a nod. It seemed as if they had all made it out ok.

"Rough first day as well huh? Seems like it's dangerous to be out in this part of the field without help. Name's Dar. You said you're Linc? You ok?" Dar asked.
