No objections here. :V
@Xiphonic I think the only thing you'd have to change would be to have the illusion ability not being able to directly hurt people and they can break out of it as long as they realize things are wrong enough. Would that be okay?
When Heroics Go Wrong!

To say this was something unexpected would be considered the grossest of understatements. Really, when did one ever experience the situation of cowardly lizardmen running away from a wrathful female knight armed with a blazing sword? This made the newly reborn elf's mind blank and balk for a moment... and the resulting explosive air wave only aggravated that sense of muddleheadedness even further along with throwing the boy aback in a literal manner. "...Well, this wasn't how I would have wanted it." Laying face down in the foliage covered by larger than average shrubbery, the boy decided to stay still and play dead to try to get the basic gist of what was happening with his sensitive ears.
Warning.

This game will have copious amounts of HAM and CHEESE.

Viewer discretion is advised.
It's Hero Time! Maybe! Hopefully!

Coming back into focus was something that was strange for the newly awakened person, especially since they distinctly remembered suffering and then dying from a powerful pain their chest. Most likely that was a heart attack, though the surprising thing was that their eyes could be open once more. Even more out of the ordinary was that the streets where they were had been replaced by a completely different environment, not a hospital or even the morgue like expected, but a wide open grass plain under a blue sky with a questionable looking winged lizard flapping about in the distance- much too realistic looking to even consider being CGI. Dull surprise was the reaction to such a scene.

And then there were more alarming factors to consider. Everything looked bigger, as though the body had shrunk and the perspective was forcibly lowered. Hair that drifted into view in the breeze looked explicitly light blue, too natural and healthy looking to be compared with died colors. Skin was pale instead of olive, softer and very much lacking in any muscle definition indicating lack of exercise. Center of balance was off, hips seeming to be narrow and shoulders somewhat broader. And finally, that last clue that something was very wrong... A most alien feeling. "..." Slender fingers hooked into the hem of the pants to pull it far enough that one could look down but not low enough to show anything off to the world. "!" Surprise and bewilderment followed by the heady rushing of blood to the head as they found a part that definitely shouldn't have existed attached below the belt, the owner almost swooning from the great shock.

"I'm a boy?!" An alto pitch resounded into the surroundings, indicating a youthful yet undeniably boyish voice came from within the new body, the feeling of an Adam's apple moving under that slender neck which soon gulped unconsciously. Trembling hands felt the face, finding features tha were gentle and smooth and freezing once more in yet another bout of confusion as they touched the ears. They were angular and somewhat sharpish instead of rounded, lacking earlobes and feeling triangular in nature. "...Elf?" A hoarse whisper, though one with quite a bit of interest infused into it. "...Right, this is... Too realistic to be a dream..." Mumbling came as the newly dubbed male elf wrapped his mind around the changes, a bevy of mixed feelings swirling about.

The scream of a characteristic damsel in distress rang out nearby, instantly snapping the boy out of his thoughts and instinctively making the new frame start dashing into the rough direction of the sound. Fitness seemed to be lowered, but hearing was heightened so there was no worry about being lost. Small hands clenched, their owner feeling unsure if this new body could realistically be of much help at the moment. Still, he ran, a mad dash towards the unsavory situation due to a combination of morality and worry for the source of the distress. To cover the ears and leave just because the body was weak, that was an excuse for those of weak minds and hearts. Still, the newly christened elf hoped he could actually provide aid.
Character Concept: "Sometimes the sum is greater than the parts..."
Name: Velte
Gender: Male
Background: In his previous life, Velte was a young female Asian-American college student enrolled in an architectural design course and worked from home via the computer. One day the girl went outside to look for bargains and unfortunately suffered from an unexpected heart attack in the middle of a shopping trip in the entertainment district, solely due to incredibly bad luck on her part. Death came far too fast for the paramedics to deal with and the woman breathed her last on Earth... only to realize that she lucked out and was now reincarnated into another world as a different race, armed with a supernatural power however weak it was. To say she was super excited about becoming an androgynous elf in a fantasy world was a severe understatement.
Level: 1
Class: Fusionist
Race: Elf
Attribute: Focus
Gift: <<Fusion>> The power to combine various objects or aspects together to form an entirely new existence. For example, he can fuse two pebbles to make a rock or a stick plus some feathers to make a crude wooden arrow. As Velte levels up, he'll have greater control over the end product while being able to create increasingly more complicated creations, culminating in even being able to craft new lifeforms in the shape of chimaera from various creature samples or create complicated golems out of various parts. Living things fused by Velte can be somewhat influenced by him due to having imprints of his thoughts infused into them during the creation process while automatons can be used as puppets guided by his mental mind. As a rule of thumb, the bigger and more complicated the sums are, the longer the fusion process will take and the lower the success rate is along with more mental energy and stamina expended on his part. Trying to make things too far above his current power weight can even cause pain so great that Velte knocks himself unconscious due to the mind being too undeveloped to piece the parts together. Currently all he can really do is work with somewhat small and simple objects such as houseplants and slimes.
Equipment: Just the clothes on his back for now.
@Medjedovic: Thanks for the acceptance! Now behold, the wonders of <<Fusion>>!

On a more serious note, the ratio of failure to success for <<Fusion>. will be favoring the former over the latter for a while since I know that the concept is really easy to munchkin and that's no fun.
Oh man, this game sounds super fun. Hopefully this works.

Nevermind, I'm still waiting on someone to post. Will work on second character though.
Name: Ran Hoshigane

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Appearance: "Oho, ready for a bout?"

Can Manipulate Qi/Ki?: Yes.

Specialization: (Only fill in if above is a 'yes') Soulbinder

Abilities (if any): Ran is a practicioner of the "Flowing Sword Palm" school whose style is blend both swordsmanship and empty-handed strikes into one viable style- to be able to use the sword like a fist and the fist like a sword. In layman's terms, they're basically able to switch seamlessly between armed and unarmed combat in an instant to deal with the changing situation. As a result of such a style, their philosophy is to "bend as the reeds in the wind so as to not be broken like the rigid trees", where they strive to keep their opponents off-guard and parry their blows rather than outright block and use subtle actions, stances, and movements to chip away at their strength and position them into a disadvantageous spots. Considered to be a "soft" style, the Flowing Sword Palm school is inherently reactive and specializes in counterattacks that use the opponents own force against them much like aikido and tai chi. Movements of the sword and hand are smooth and flowing like water- wearing down and passing through obstacles. Using ki only serves to make the actions more fast and flexible while improving the power behind the blow, enough to shear through stone and lesser metals with sufficient momentum. Besides this style, Ran's sword has the soul of a yuki-onna dwelling in it that allows it to exude a freezing aura upon request that'll help hinder the enemy's movements by chilling objects upon impact with each successive strike only amplifying the effect.

Personality: Ran as a person could be described as laid-back and open-minded. She simply enjoys life as is with a respectful exuberance, relishing new experiences and meetings. Calm and companionable, the ronin is one who is rather easy to get along with. Though she is mild, she does have a strong sense of morals while holding a pragmatic mindset during such situations.

History: A wandering ronin that loves to explore the land, Ran had learned how to fight from her own glob-trotting journey. Taking bits and pieces from other styles here and there, she experimented and crafted the Flowing Sword Palm school from a variety of sources such as lessons and battles. Currently, she is continuing her journey to amass enough experience to create a stable foundation for her martial arts style and plans to settle down in the future to teach it to the common people to help give them a modicum of safety and pride.
