Lost in his moment of solace and reflection Angus failed to notice the waving shadow, he kept looking to the graves, even shutting his eyes for a moment. His mind wandered back to his child hood oddly enough, all those years ago when he and his father would travel around the nearby settlements selling off whatever was in the back of their cart.

All of a sudden Angus was snapped back to the present, he felt the air disruption as something passed dangerously close to him. Rather than see what the object was he instead looked to the source, Ekra was stood alone wearing the same clothing as before and looking slightly bewildered. He frowned a little. "What was that all about lass? If you wanted my attention you should have just asked." He chuckled a little before turning around to see what she had thrown, a stone probably, maybe one of her seeds. He stepped back and his eyes widened to see the shadow rise from the ground and speak. "By the goddesses!" He blurted out. "What's going on here?!" He looked over his shoulder to Ekra then back again, hoping one of them could provide an explain.
Tarwin was amount the last to leave the dungeon, everyone who had the strength to move was now free and the guards had been cleared out of the dungeon floor. "Onto the barracks and from there freedom!" He cheered as he let the other prisoners pass him by, patting them on the back and giving words of encouragement and direction, no sense him putting himself in needless danger after all. Following the crowd his eyes glanced off to a sturdy looking side door, he glanced at the set of keys, shrugging slightly as he looked down the corridor to see his cell mates storming a gate that lead to the barracks, plenty of time to sneak a peak inside he thought as he began trying the keys.

After a little while the door flung open and Tarwin grinned a little seeing the prize within. The mass of food within the store room ranged from simple bread and cheese to cooked meats. He licked his lips and stepped inside and hungrily bit into a loaf of bread, then he moved quickly to some chicken, slightly aged but still good, finally he washed the meal down with a bottle of wine he'd found hidden behind three bags of flour, most likely snuck in by one of the guards for an especially boring shift. Half emptied bottle in hand, the spell sword made his way back to the main group, passing the ruins of the gate and several groaning and deceased guards the young man soon made his way to the barracks and from there the storage room. "Ah! So this is where you guys went!" He smiled, his words slightly slurred as he set about looking for his things, he put the wine bottle on top of a chest as he found his gear.

As fast as he could in his mildly intoxicated state Tarwin dressed himself in his old cloths, put on his belt, slid his sword into it's scabbard, threw his poncho over his shoulders, adjusted his eyepatch slightly and slung his bag over his shoulder. He heard someone ask what was next and he smiled, taking the bottle in one hand and taking a long swing before climbing onto a chest to get attention. "Ladies, gentlemen, beasts and royalty!" He shouted, pointing his finger around the room to each of the ones he mentioned. "You are each no doubt wondering where you shall go now, well, worry not! I am in need of brave companions to assist me in a lucrative quest! We leave the city as fleeing fugitives, find and loot some ruins and then return as wealthy fortune seekers!" While he was no longer in possession of the guide he had got a good look at the location of the ruins, he was also fairly confident that he wouldn't be able to do it alone but if it really was an unexplored set of ruins the treasure inside would be worth enough to entice people.
Raising his eyebrow slightly Angus wondered who or what Erka was referring to by 'they'. He shrugged it off, none of his business, but in his mind he continued to wonder. His thoughts were interrupted however by the sweet sound of music coming from the girl's flute. He smiled a little, a warm and friendly smile that sat well on his face as he listened. "That's a beautiful song, reminds me of something I heard out on one of my travels." He pointed his finger to the windmill near the centre of the town. "You know there's actually a few songs that come from this town. There's the windmill song." He motioned to the path next to it that lead to the graveyard. "And then there's another one about the sun that you can find in the graveyard. You seen the graveyard yet? It's a pretty place, calm, quiet, I was gonna' head over there myself and say hi to my folks. Wanna tag along? It'd be a nice break from all this hustle and bustle."

Not waiting for her response he made his way around the stall, leaving a small 'closed' sign on the desk and stashing his stock under the desk before heading off towards the graveyard. He passed by that armoured fellow hanging around near the path, he wasn't sure what he was doing there, certainly not entertaining children, but he paid him no mind and carried on to the graveyard. Once there he moved quietly to his parent's graves, two almost identical triangular gravestones with several white flowers laid respectively in front. One read 'Maria Tower' and the other 'Garland Tower', Angus stood with his hands in front of him looking down at the two for a moment of silence.
Spencer felt physically sick after watching the display, could Mr Decent really do that to all of them? He looked to his arm and the curse mark for a little while wondering how much chaos would erupt and how many people would kill another person in the next 50 minutes. Suddenly the time was dropped to 5 minutes and his mouth dried up, he licked his lips as he considered he might have been bluffing, no way he'd be able to kill them all at once...Bur he knew it was wishful thinking and he slowly turned his neck to meet the gaze of the business man.

"No." Spencer said quickly. "No no no, sir think about this for just a second." He raised his hands above his head. "I am thinking..." The man said, his facing growing cold, stepping closer and looking at his hand . "Thinking about my wife, my daughter, my house, my car." He looked up from his hand and Spencer swallowed nervously, backing up slowly. "My life. The one I've built through years of hard work." The man suddenly raised his hand. "But you, you're just some punk kid, no life, no girlfriend I'm betting." Spencer could tell what was going to happen soon, he could tell that they weren't both going to make it out alive. "I'm sorry." The man said, tearing up slightly as his magical energy began to build. "Me too." Spencer said sadly, with his hands still in the air he clenched his fist tightly, the shadow on the ground wrapped tightly around the business man's legs and and pulled him to the ground. Spencer knew what had to be done, in this moment, right now, it was kill or be killed. The man on the ground was slowly enveloped by shadows, they wrapped around his neck and and pulled hard against the ground, the younger men's eyes were shut tight the whole time and after what felt like an eternity of the the man gasping and spasming he was dead.
If you want I could have Angus go and visit the graveyard and pay his respects at his parents's grave then notice the gathering by the shadow temple.
Actually I've had the idea for a long while but I think the movie's going to drum up some interest. Happy accidents.
I'll add in a bit about doing the opposite side to 9.
Ok I'll have an OOC up in the next day or so, I'll incorporate some of the things we've discussed here and hopefully get this thing going.

Leaning against the wall next to the metal bars of the cell Tarwin had his eyes shut, he hasn't been in the cell for very long, a few days maybe and in all that time he hadn't relocated from that spot except to lie down and to go to the back and do his...Business. He hadn't eaten since the evening he was caught and his stomach was beginning to feel like it was starting to eat itself, nevertheless he tried to stay in high spirits even if that meant he somewhat annoyed his cell mates. They were an odd group but when he was tossed in he introduced himself. "Hey there." He'd said with a grin. "I'm Tarwin, it's great to be hear I'm gonna be your jester for the next few days." Telling jokes and stories was how he'd passed most of the time, he'd told them the one about the three elvish queens and the story of how dwarves first came into the world through the great cave of the ancients old stories that he'd heard since he was a boy. In the first few hours the smell of the cell had been almost unbearable but he'd managed to get used to it after a little while, at least he didn't gag every time he inhaled. For the first time since he'd been thrown into the cell Tarwin began to think about how he'd ended up in his current predicament, letting out a long sigh he began to remember the night of his detainment.

The mighty and imposing structure of Duranar stood before him, the sun setting cast it in a wonderful orange glow. The human stepped closer, and glanced around to check the guards weren't around, as he had planned it was the transitional phase of shifts and the perfect window of opportunity. Untying the rope from around his waist he began to fix the grappling hook on the end before whirling it around and tossing it to the ramparts above, it snagged and he tugged a few times to make sure it was stable before starting his ascent of the castle walls. Thankfully no guards passed by and spotted him, nimbly hopping over the top of the wall the fortune seeker crept carefully inside the structure itself and began sneaking his way through, it was easy given the relaxed nature of guards inside the building itself. Sticking to the shadows and making note of any guard patrols he spotted he soon reached the restricted catacombs, rows and rows of ancient books, rarely touched and many left abandoned for decades. He strolled around knowing he was alone in the maze of texts and eventually found what he had come for, taking the ancient map book from it's shelf he flicked through the pages until he found what he was looking for a page detailing the location of a long forgotten tower containing the vast wealth of a dead king. "Gold mine." He laughed to himself and shut the book, putting it into a small satchel around his shoulder before leaving the way he had entered...Unfortunately he had lingered too long underground and waiting for him on the castle walls next to his rope were five heavily armed guards, he had drawn his sword and prepared for a fight but it had been a pointless move as by the time he was ready to charge he had been outflanked and hit over the head and knocked unconscious.

Suddenly Tarwin was snapped back to the cell, eyes opening wide at the sound of a slight click sound. He focused on the female half-elf in front of her and gave her an approving nod and smile. "Nice work." He said, leaning in and speaking quiet enough so only she would hear. Since he had first entered the cell and seen the odd assortment of people and different races he knew he wasn't going to be executed, he knew it was only going to be a matter of time before one of them came up with a way out, and this half elf had proven him right. Now it was just a matter of some body leading the charge for freedom, and it was an elf who stepped up to do so rushing out and blasting a guard with magic. Letting out a slight cheer he followed suit, gesturing for the others to follow him from the cell and grabbing one of the guard's sabres as he passed the body, as well as a set of keys At the same time he noticed two more escape and join the rush to freedom, he noticed one in particular a hulking beast that had been chained up in the opposite cell was now freeing the other inmates, the more the merrier as they say. Tarwin ran ahead and sliced with the blade cutting another guard across the chest, then he took the keys and used them to open up the other cells in the hall that the creature hadn't got around to yet, a proper prison break, everyone now had the chance to go free. "C'mon! Death waits for no man but that doesn't mean you have to stay here and wait for death!" He laughed a little, sounding a bit like a madman he followed the elf magician to what he hoped would be freedom.
The young man kept smiling as Rayen began to think of her fact, he didn't even notice Amelia had focused on the two of them until she spoke her snide comment. He rolled his eyes a little as he turned to face her, his brow raised a little as prepared to speak, something along the lines of. 'Oh, got tired of the sound of your own voice I see.' Yeah that's good, he applauded himself internally and was about to open his mouth when something surprising happened, Rayen spoke first. His first impression of her had been that she was a very shy and quiet girl, but here she was stepping forward to confront the bully. He just wished that Amelia didn't have such a good point, they were all wanting to go into the military police, presumably because it was the safest and most lucrative of the three branches, nevertheless he would never admit that and their attitudes about joining the police were very different. He stepped forward to stand by Rayen's side and let her continue to talk, when she was done he finally he spoke. "Hey back off, I don't kno-" Was all he managed to get out before she interrupted him to ask about the location of their instructor, his voice had come across a lot less intimidating than he had liked, he'd never been good with confrontation and with a sigh he looked down at the ground and backed down. His head raised once more when he heard the instructor's voice, he turned to look at them and was a little disappointed to hear the almost praise like words she spoke. Is that what positive behaviour is considered to be in the military police? He found himself wondering.

Then Shuya saw that the commander had stopped in front of him and Rayen. Instinctively he snapped to attention fist over his chest. "Ma'am! This is cadet Rayen," He announced loudly as he extended an arm across in front of her body to indicate who he was talking about even though it was abundantly clear. "She is from the Karanese district within wall Rose! And when she was eleven she" For a moment he paused, realising she hasn't finished herself, but he had already started and couldn't just end it there, he would have to make something up. Almost instantly he had an idea and decided to roll with it, in the same loud and clear tone he finished the sentence. "Realised that the military police was the ideal branch for her!" That sounded vaguely believable. "And since then she has never looked back!" He held his salute and glanced over to Rayen with a slight reassuring smile, knowing that he had provided her with the fact that she needed. "On a side note I think she and I are going to be good friends!"
