As someone who struggles to find time to read everything I tend to avoid reading the majority of OOC posts and focus on the IC, just thought I'd let you guys know that's why I'm kinda silent in this section. For that reason I suggest you PM me if you need something urgently.

Tarwin ambled around the maze of corridors in the citadel for a good long while before he bumped into a set of patrolling guards, he was aware of the loud bells ringing out around him, he was not completely sure why though. "Halt!" They ordered. "What are you doing here?!" They demanded, just as he was about to answer-"You're no patrol officer! You're from the prison, explain yourself!" They interrupted. He quickly began to come up with an explanation but he suspected the guards before him were in no mind to wait so he began to speak before the story was fully formed. "The warden from the prison sent me up to send reinforcements down, things are really getting out of hand down there. That was a while ago though and I sort of got lost on my way back." The two guards exchanged a glance and one of them nodded slightly, they both returned their gaze to him. "They've managed to round up most of the escapees but apparently one group of especially dangerous prisoners broke off and pain vanished." Which explained the bells, the man frowned a little with his good eye, staying true to the act. "Especially dangerous?" He repeated. "Well we've only heard a few scratchy reports but it seems to be two great beats, a few elves and half breeds, some petty thief and that rogue prince." Tarwin nodded his head slowly. "Damn, and you don't know where they're heading?" They each shook their heads. "Well I guess I'd best head back down there and help them look if I can, which way is it?"

After receiving directions which he wasn't going to use Tarwin set off trying to find a way out of the citadel, he'd spent far too long inside the place and he longed to get out of the entire city, treasure was waiting for him way out in the forgotten ruins of Baalor. He eventually found his way to the Eastern walls of the citadel, he glanced over to see the cause of a loud ruckus. It seemed that a set of mounted warriors were attacking some of the citadel's garrison, he watched on the walls for a while and eventually saw them depart along with the two beats and presumably the rest of the prisoners. As he looked on he heard someone shout behind him.

"Hey you!" Turning around Tarwin looked to see a group of heavily armed guards closing in along the walls, he glanced over his shoulder and saw more guards closing in. He had the strangest feeling of déjà vu. "What er...What's all this about?" He laughed slightly looking between the two groups. "Take off your helmet!" One officer ordered and Tarwin complied, removing the helmet and setting it down. "Well well well..." The officer stepped forward and drew his blade. "Thought you could escape in the chaos eh, eyepatch?" The officer was one who had visited the prison several times and taken a particular hatred towards Tarwin after he tried to crack a joke. "Long time no see." He laughed slightly bringing the point of the blade close to the man's throat. In response Tarwin raised his hands slowly and smirked. "How'd you track me down?" The officer chuckled, clearly proud of himself. "It wasn't hard, the guard patrols said someone with an eyepatch had been acting suspiciously, from there I knew you'd try to escape and I also knew you'd be stupid enough to try walking out the main gate." Tarwin moved his hands to slowly clap his hands, grinning as he did so. "Almost perfect, but one thing...I didn't plan on 'walking' out of here." The officer was about to speak but Tarwin brought a fist up to disarm the man of his blade, next he brought his free hand to grip the hook from his waist which he dug into the man's chest before kicking him from the wall and leaping off the opposite side. Using the officer to counter balance him he managed to slow himself enough and use the wall to get down without dying, though he did hurt his ankle pretty bad. He could hear frantic yelling from above and inside the wall, soon the gate opened up and a knight rushed out, Tarwin drew his sword and swung it high to knock the knight from his steed before leaping onto the horse himself. Laughing to himself as he rode off away from the city, he didn't even care about the knights coming after him, he was a free man and it felt good.

Instead of heading straight to the ruins Tarwin had to take a longer and less direct route to lose the knights that pursued him. He'd rode for a full day away from the citadel, then two days lying low in the woods and eating nettle soup, next he traveled looking for the ruins that all that had been about. Seven days after escaping prison Tarwin found himself riding a weary horse up the slope towards Baalor, he frowned slightly seeing a vaguely familiar banner and was somehow not surprised to find that the supposedly abandoned ruins were not so empty and untouched. "Halt!" Barked a sentry guard sounding also identical to the ones in the citadel. "Hey it's ok, I just want to know who you guys are working for." The sentry, a young and most likely ambitious soldier replied. "We are the soldiers of prince Mundhir!" To which Tarwin responded with a hearty laugh. "Well 'ain't that a stroke of luck? Me and the prince are old buddies!" He Adjusted his poncho slightly to look a little more presentable. "I'm kind of the reason he and the others got away from the prison." The sentry nodded and in a matter of minutes Tarwin was lead into the law house shortly after the prince had finished talking. "Hello everybody! It feels like it's been years since all of us were together." Laughing and clapping his hands together. "What have I missed?" He looked around at the familiar faces, quite relieved they were no longer kept so close in a cell or cramped hallway.
Sorry I've not posted for a little bit, I'll get one up in the next 24 hours.
I too want to keep this thing going.
The situation was confusing for Angus he looked from the shadow creature, the species of which he still wished to know about but just as he was about to open his mouth and ask a question Ekra bombarded the figure with questions of her own. He glanced over to the centre of the graveyard to the the group the shadow had spoken of, next he turned his neck to see the hooded child appear from the path, at least he assumed she was a child given the sound of their voice. He found himself wondering if he really was about to meet a fairy, well he wasn't going to find out just stood there. "Seeing as we're here we might as well check this out. Don't you think?" He looked over his shoulder to Ekra with a slight shrug he decided this day was already pretty weird, maybe it was destiny, maybe this shadow creature was actually luring them into a trap. There really was only way to find out. "He who dares wins after all."
"Destiny? Whispers?" Angus repeated, frowning slightly, not so much scared by the moving talking shadow, more...Confused. Was this a ghost? A spirit with unfinished business who needed living allies? He shook his head slightly. "Listen, I don't know how you know about me going senile and hearing voices but how about you back off a little?" The smith moved away from the graves over to the cloaked girl. He raised his hand in the shadow's direction and held a palm flat, indicating for them not to come any closer. "Now how about you explain why my friend here felt the need to throw something at you? Were you really coming to get me?" He chuckled a little. "Is it my time already?" He then stepped closer to the shadow and help an open hand out. "I'd quite like that knife back as well."
Poor Tarwin's gonna be all alone in the citadel and may actually end up sending guards to the wrong place, I'll probably come up with a way to get him back with the main group.

Tarwin smiled a little as the rest of the prisoners showed up, he lowered his blade and stepped back to allow the beasts to do their work. His plan to lure the world breaker into a more aggressive stance and thereby lowering his guard had succeeded, as he went back down the corridor he overheard one of the others, the girl who had sat back with the prince, talk about finding and warning the king. Then a brilliant idea popped into his intoxicated mind, they were inside the citadel, one of the most securely defended structures in the known world, but the defences were focused on keeping things out and not on monitoring what went on inside. In short the valuables that the king sat upon were as close to his reach as they ever would be, he'd be a fool not to try and make some profit, and what would they do? Lock him up?

As the group turned their attention to the wounded member of the party Tarwin raised his voice to get some attention. "I'm going to run on ahead and Er...Scout the route out." He moved over to an unconscious guard who had been knocked aside by the bull and took the helmet he wore as well as the leather jacket that bore the guard's insignia. "I should be able to blend in with this, find a way out with as few guards as possible." He turned and made his way swiftly down the hallway, glancing over his shoulder to shout. "If I don't come back just assume I'm in trouble and find another way out." He thought for a moment before adding. "...Or come and rescue me, yeah do that."

Stepping over the corpse of the presumably 'elite' guard, Tarwin hurried down the corridor, coming up with the best way to get past the guards and possibly convince then to do something to make it easier for the others to escape. While he certainly wasn't the most honourable person he did kind of owe those guys one and he'd feel bad if he was the only one to escape. Soon enough he exited the corridor and came face to face with a group of 20 or so guards hurrying the opposite way to him. "Stop! Stop" He cried, waving his arms to get their attention, they did as he said and their leader stepped forward, a captain. Tarwin gave a sharp salute and in his most formal voice possible said. "I bring word from the dungeons, the corridor has collapsed back there, we need to go around and cut them off before they make it to the eastern gate!" The captain looked about to say something but Tarwin interrupted. "No time to talk this whole area's unstable! I think I'm the only one who got out!" The captain nodded and quickly barked orders for the guards to pull back and loop around, they would likely pass on the 'news' and clear the way for his comrades.

After following the group for a while he spoke with the captain. "I was told to bring reinforcements from the king's personal guard, the ones stationed at the treasury, where might I locate them?" The captain looked slightly confused but given he'd never faced a situation like this before he shrugged it off and gave him the directions. With a smug grin on his face Tarwin set off for what he assumed was going to be an entire hall of gold and jewels, when he arrived however he was disappointed a simple locked door with two guards outside. Giving another salute to the guards Tarwin turned on a panicking tone before running up to them and gasping. "You need to hurry to the east gate, the prisoners have broken out and two huge beasts are leading an escape! We need all the soldiers we can spare!" The two guards glanced at each other before nodding and heading off down the corridor, once they were gone he gave a hard kick to the door, breaking the lock after a few tries and letting it swing open...Safe boxes. Row after row of steel containers each housing a small fortune and almost impossible to open without a key, giving a scream of drunken anger Tarwin grabbed one of the safe boxes and pulled it over, a loud crash echoed through the halls and he knew guards would soon come to investigate. Cursing loudly he turned and rushed down the maze of corridors, trying to get as far away from the crime scene as he could. Not even a single coin profit for the effort he'd been through.
Waiting as well.

Tarwin stepped off the box he was using as a podium, taking another sip from the wine and nearly finishing it, the inmates were not as enthusiastic as he would have liked. "Fine then, guess we can focus on finishing our escape before planning what happens next." But who amount them knew the way out? The two beasts had likely come in chains and if he followed either of them then they'd probably just get lost in a maze of corridors or make a new exit. He assumed that the others had been kept in the cell longer than he had so were unlikely to remember the way they'd been taken by the guards. There was one possibility, that prince, it was his citadel, surely he knew the layout.

With a sly smile stretching across his face he took off after the prince, staying just far enough back to avoid being detected. He was well aware he wasn't the only one stalking the would be heir, an elf was on the prowl as well but she appeared to almost disappear into the shadows and he even wondered if it was the wine making him see things. 'I wasn't always such a lightweight.' He smirked at his joke as he continued along.

Suddenly a figure approached the prince, clad all in armour and apparently in a very bad mood for some reason. Was this the mighty jailor? Come to restore law and order? Slowly Tarwin drew his blade, it flashed red as the dip became imbued with the power of fire and he swung it around dramatically before holding it out in front of him in an aggressive and confident stance. "Now now, a captain of the guard in a full suit of armour against one malnourished prince? I hardly think that's fair, and I gamble from time to time so I know about fair." He shot the armoured man a large grin. "Now you against me that's a little more evan and fair don't you think?" He hoped that elf was still hiding, ready to launch a sneak attack when the opportunity arose, they were all in this together and he prayed that the elf would realise a victory here was in all their best interests if they wanted to escape. He waved the wine bottle out in front of him, keeping up the smile. "Tell you what, you stand aside and let me outta here and I'll give you the rest of this, it's real good stuff."
