Well, everybody else... with very few exceptions, is getting plastered and then finding the nearest bunch of gears and throwing monkey wrenches at them. Given that they're drunk... they're accuracy is exceptional.
We probably should expand our twosome to include others but catching up with all of the grand-standing, show-stealing and tazer-wielding would take several paragraphs of summary before we ever got to our characters.
I can think of how to make this worse for Vern and his new friend. The incident could include Arty too... but... it could crash the party.
