Appearance: Standing at roughly 6 feet, taller than most average females, Sam looks the part of someone heavily influenced by the punk and grunge scenes of the 1980s and 90s, from black denim pants covered in various belts, chains, and buckles that serve no purpose to simple leather and cloth tank tops varying in color and inked with custom artwork. Taking to walking around barefoot, for whatever reason, she does tend to throw on a pair of leather boots for good measure. Depending on her mood, her head is shaved at times, or grows it out on one side about shoulder length and keeps the other side shaven to reveal a circular tribal tattoo. Various piercings adorn her ears and lip, and her body is mostly covered with black tattoos ranging from mystical glyphs and symbols, to more elaborate mythical creatures.

Her supply is limited and requires a visit to the local Apothecary, or the myriad of witch covens fronting as New Age stores throughout the city.
Personality: She generally has a tough exterior, rarely showing that she cares about much of anything or anyone, but instead delving into her artwork or perfecting her Craft. As a shifter, her world view is rather cynical, especially toward humans and their kind, as she's experienced firsthand just how selfish they can be when they truly want something. She is also a borderline kleptomaniac, stealing items she may not be able to afford or perhaps even out of spite for someone she just doesn’t like.
Biography: Sam isn't sure where she came from, although if you ask her, she'll give a different answer every time. She does know, however, that whoever her original parents were, they didn't stick around long enough to see their offspring grow up, but leaving her with a sense of abandonment and mistrust early on. Her shifting abilities came as maturity settled in, hormones and brain activity causing unexpected -and sometimes random- transformations and there was a certain point in her life that Sam didn't quite know who she was anymore, but was determined to find her place in a world that seemed to thrive on pride and prejudice.
Not being born with any inherent magical abilities wasn’t all that bad considering those who were seemed to be haunted by its very existence coursing through their body. The NYC University she’d eventually landed into taught what was considered a form a
Witchcraft, which Sam seemed to gravitate towards, studying extensively through a stubborn Grimoire she’d “borrowed” with the intention of never giving it back considering she needed it in order to accomplish any spells.
