"Exactly!" Brianna nods then looks over at Hunter for a moment, falling silent. "I wonder if we shall return to our own divisions? I admit, I have always enjoyed your intellectual company. You have a ruthless that I do not." She sighs. "Did you see me falter at the little girl? That is the burden of family. I could take a young boy without a care, but I see a child who looks like my niece and I fall apart."

Marik nods slowly, "I wish I could point out a good place for you, but as far as I know of the territory the place is filled with many trees prone to losing branches in heavy rain and snow." He thinks for a little bit. "And a rock." He looks over the river. "Even this place will freeze over eventually, but given your form, perhaps that won't be too much trouble."

From his vantage point, The Boss could see the siblings run to each other. "Take them now." he commands. Two guards come out and grab the both of them while The Boss presses the button for the lift and begins to head downwards.
Nadia catches the sound of his stomach plainly, being in her leopard seal form. "Hope you haven't been starving, hmm?" She waves a flipper and gestures to him.

"H-hardly!" Marik shakes his head, hating to show weakness in front of someone. However, her comment had brought something to mind. "Ah, but it's getting colder now, yes? What plans do you have for the winter?" He spoke quickly to change the subject.
Hunter looks at Brianna. He hd noticed her discomfort regarding Ptelea, but didn't bring it up. "Yeah, it'll definitely be nice to see new subjects. These two are getting kind of boring, don't you think?"

The leader had drove them to the location. It had took them an hour or so and he glances at Ptelea. "Look, all safe!"

Brianna felt encouraged by Hunter's words. "Oh, most definitely! You know, although my strength is in biology I have been fascinated by the thought that shifters animals might be based by area? I mean, it's incredibly hard to tell anything about the general distribution of them with the incredibly small sample size we've been subjected to so far. I'd also like to see if any kind of pack mentality or hive mind exists between them, or maybe even trace their lineage. I mean, old cave paintings showing man and animals together might not just be symbolic..." she rambles on to him.

The Boss was at a point of vantage in the facility where he could see the truck entering through the large gate. He pulled out his phone and called some of the guards. It was time for his plan to come into action. "Keep the siblings separate," his order came like a cold gust of wind, "but make sure they can see each other. Cover Ambrose's mouth only. Let the girl scream for him."
Brianna rubs her wrists where the handcuffs had been. "Ugh, I hate being treated like an animal," she groans. "At least it's labwork for us for a little while. The Boss seems to think that we'll be overrun with test subjects soon, but I think the cure is going to be done quicker than he thinks." She looks to see if Hunter agrees with her.

"You are not wrong, I admit." Marik replies, then staying quiet for a moment. Even in this part of the forest, the only sound that could be heard was the river rushing past. Until his stomach growled. He quickly coughs to cover it up.

Nadia watches Marik as he speaks. "When needed, maybe. I often watch your little patrols come through." She shrugs, glancing back at the river. "It makes it easier to stick to myself."

"Yes, I have to admit, I have been a little curious about you for that reason." Marik follows her gaze and admires the peace of the river. "Unfortunately there are many things you can't learn by observing a person who speaks to no one." He looks back to her. "If you so loath the company of other people why stay in a forest where two groups lie? There are many other, emptier forests nearby, I am certain."
The Boss opens the door for Ambrose. The hallway outside the room had a clear view of the entire facility. He points to the clear entryway which was a large gate outside a carpark. A little box signified where the gatekeeper sat. "You can wait for her there," he explains.
"People are troublesome in a number of ways," Marik shrugs indifferently, "their acceptance is hardly an issue." He looks over her. "You don't seem too mind so much though. Why? Have you undertaken your own lot of spying?" he smiles a little as he repeats the word she used.

The Boss is unsure for just a moment, wondering if Ambrose might seek to contact his friends in a way that would undermine his own plans or else find out something he shouldn't. He calmed himself with the fact that the laptop had very little on it and that Ambrose only wanted it for his sister. He was a boy obsessed with making sure the one he loved was safe. "Of course, Ambrose. It's not a problem at all. Anything for you, my son." With that, he texts the new instructions to the rescue team. Bring the little girl back to the facility. Once she's away, make sure that Brianna and Hunter are set free and given ample care for their efforts today. Both of them should be taken back to Offsite Lab 32a for the time being.

Brianna gives up trying to resist, knowing that it was pointless.

Ambrose looks at the old man. "Sir...do you have gates or something I can wait at? I don't want her to be overwhelmed by a new area without seeing me first." He slowly gets to his feet, wringing his hands. "An hour is a long time for a little girl..." He kicks at the ground sadly.

The Boss nods slowly, hand on the door handle. He certainly wasn't going to risk Ambrose getting out, but it would be a bad idea to deny his request now. "Of course, there's a gate keeper who is my granddaugher-in-law. You could sit with her and wait. She'll be the one to open the gates when your sister comes in. Then we can get both of you a good meal. Would you like that?" His voice was warm.
"And mine is Marik. It is good to finally know your name," Marik would have offered his hand to shake but realises that would have been quite a comic scene, shaking the flipper of a seal. He looks away at her comment of spying. "It is... Not really like that..." He tries to think of a better word. "A more apt description might be... Observing. People are rarely their true selves when you speak to them outright."

"Ah... I only have good intentions," The Boss waves his cane around nonchalantly for a moment, observing its reflection in the window. "I mean, you have enemies after all. Who knows what dangers may come?" At Ambrose's attention to the laptop, he nods and heads for the door. "Your sister is about an hour drive for me, according to my people. She will be at your side as soon as possible."

"Clearly not." Brianna sighs as one of the members comes to put handcuffs on both her and Hunter.

Ambrose watches the scene unfold in front of him, biting his lip. "Broms. The Broms are our enemy." He corrects, not even noticing the prying.

The Boss nods slowly. "Well, Ambrose, any friend of yours is a friend of mine. I would equally protect your group as I would you, just as I would have Harvey's friends."
