Amelia laughed at the interaction between Dela and Lila, they were always the life of the party. As she heard them speaking about the vast array of available men, Amelia walked back over to the wet bar. She poured three more shots and set out three more lime wedges, then brought them out to the balcony and handed one to each of the girls. She downed her shot and sucked the lime wedge into her mouth. This weekend was going to be one full of drunk regrets, lost clothes, and a lot of Gatorade and Emergen-C for the hangovers, but Amelia wouldn't have it any other way.
"So we are all here now, should be get to the beach first or grab some lunch since it's noon? We can eat at the beachside resturant, in our itty bitty bathing suits. I'm sure there will be plenty of male attention there," Amelia raised an eyebrow and twirled her shot glass in her hand. They were free, free from worries and responsibilities, and the hurt of past relationships gone wrong.
Amelia smirked to the two girls, her two best friends. They had been through so much together and still were so close even with their crazy busy schedules. "So get dressed, let's hit the beachside resturant for some grub then get on the white sands!" Anelia said and jogged into the living room, laying her empty shot glass on the table, and trotting to her bedroom where she laid her belongings.
She changed, pulling on a dark purple strapless bikini, her white sandals, and her RayBands. Amelia looked at herself in the mirror, her back tattoo was almost completely visible in the bikini. All the intricate, different butterflies that ran along her spine in different sizes. Her smile faltered, she missed being in her relationship even if Hunter and her relationship wasn't the best- it still was fun to be around his charasmatic attitude.
Amelia shrugged away te feeling and walked out of the room with a small beach bag on her shoulder- containing sun tan oil, a towel, her iPhone 6 and headphones. She stood in the living room waiting for the other girls to get ready to go. The beachside resturant was directly on the boardwalk from the condo to the beach, which made it convenient, and consisted of a full menu of seafood favorites, plus a fully stocked open bar.
