Annabelle tried to keep her breathing quite, and not move an inch. Surely he wouldn't be in there a long time, right? Once he left, she'd slip out and get off the ship, she was quite, not even wanting to take the chance to blink her lashes. She watched his shadow sit in the chair and lean back, He cussed in her head as he bumped into one of the bags of gold. Shit, she forgot to move it out of the way! She didn't move for a few seconds, even after he discovered her shape there. People could tell she was a woman, which was where the name the maiden. She narrowed her eyes, her hands instantly reaching up and grabbing her sword out of its sheath, coming out of the dark to square off with him.
Her face was still covered, so he wouldn't be able to see it was her who had stolen, or attempted to steal, his gold. She was actually surprised he had came back this early, it couldn't have been no later then one in the morning. She let the other bag fall from her grasp, grabbing onto the sword with both hands. "People call me Maiden." She said. She had learned to easily disguise her voice with practice, giving herself a thick accent so he wouldn't recognize her sweet, warm voice from earlier. "You take from people who are less fortunate then you, so I'm taking it back and giving it to them. You pirates are done with mistreating people." She said, her voice low and husky. She looked at him with blazing eyes.
"Starting with you." She said and held her sword up, charging at the man.
