After finishing his meal, Henry took a look around the inn. Everybody seemed rather quiet after the attack, though that was probably because most of them were tired, but did not want to show their weakness by going to sleep first. Well, the bard was not here to show off to others, or so he thought. Henry took his spear and his lute and said "Don't know 'bout you mates, but I'm going to take a nap. " Henry started ascending the steps towards the second floor of the inn and added "Don't leave without me. Who will save you from all the monstrous things to come if not I?" he chuckled, and entered the second floor, where there were a couple of open doors left.

Since the Dunmer said it was all arranged, Henry just entered a random room, closed the door, leaned his spear and lute by the wall and lied down on the bed. After thinking for a few seconds, he stood back up, walked to the door and turned the key in the lock. He also left the key in there, so nobody would try to pick the lock. He then lied down again, without even bothering to take his shoes off and closed his eyes, trying to get some rest.
Henry was just finishing to attach the last string to his lute as he heard the sound of swords being pulled out of their sheathes. The bard then saw how swiftly the Hero of Kvatch performed a spin around the attacker, before thrusting his blade into her chest. Apparently the blade was enchanted, because the murderer started shaking as if being electrocuted. "Like stabbing him through his lungs was not enough." - the bard thought chuckling and looked to the counter. He did not see when the innkeeper had brought the food Henry ordered. But before starting to eat he quickly played a few chords with his lute and loudly sang

Oh, our Hero, our Hero,
The savior of day.
Say whatever you want -
He'll saves us again.

Henry then laughed from the words of the song he just sang and put his lute on the ground near him. "Nice show, ser Hero of Kvatch. Might be you are not fooling us after all." Henry then started eating while whistling a melody of the song he previously sang when he was not chewing.

Sorry bacon, not to jack this. Henrich would you like to join my RP

I checked it out, but I don't really like to be in multiple RP's at once and I generally dislike the idea of werewolves, vampires and such :)

No, thats Sin. Arowne was the Bosmer in the Bloodworks. I see now that he never participated in the battle. I've also asked Sin if she still intends to play and have yet to receive an answer.

Ooh yeah, Arowne was the archer! Totally knew we had an archer, but missed him fighting :D
Henry slowly made his way towards the Prison District. He quickly thought up a plan, which he hoped would help him get his hat back. He did not look like a prisoner anymore as he had his spear, lute and clothes. His leg was somewhat healed too. The bard went through the gate to the bridge connecting the Prison District and the Market District. He saw that there was still some time before the Sun would fully set, so with haste he went towards the place he was kept in not too long ago.

As Henry entered, he saw a sleeping Imperial Jailor behind the desk. Not suspecting anything, as this is after all a pretty boring job, Henry walked towards him and coughed trying to get his attention. However, that did not seem to work.
"Excuse me.. Sir?" Henry tried talking to him, yet there was no answer and the jailor kept sleeping. Henry then came closer to him and looked. Well, he was actually breathing, so that was reassuring. The last thing Henry needed now was for somebody to once again wrongly accuse him of murder. Henry put one hand on his shoulder and shook him, but he barely mumbled something and kept on sleeping. Henry looked around not knowing what to do. The Jailor was either a really heavy sleeper or under a spell, of which Henry thought the latter was a more reasonable explanation.

The bard opened the door to outside and shouted for a guard to come in. When one showed up, after briefly explaining the situation, the guard tried to wake the Jailor up, but without success. He then thanked the bard for telling him and asked what he was doing in the Bastion this late.

"Well, I had my hat stolen yesterday in a tavern, when I was performing. " Henry lied without hesitating, as he already came up with the lie while walking here. " I heard some thief was caught in a tavern yesterday, so I thought that maybe the hat was here and wanted to try and get it back."
The guard hesitated for a moment, but he obviously had no idea about any thieves in taverns so he nodded before asking "Can you prove that there is a hat in the chest that is yours?"
Henry already thought about that upfront too "Yes. I can tell you how it looks like. It's a big hat. You know like performers have, thought it also resembles a wizards hat. It's furry and brown. There can't be two of those, for sure."
The guard nodded again and went to check the evidence chest. He was surprised when he found the it unlocked and asked the bard who had unlocked it, to what Henry replied "Probably the same person who put the Jailor asleep." The guard mumbled something and started looking. After a minute or two he pulled out Henry's hat which was rather crumpled, but still his hat. Henry smiled as sincerely as he could. "Aye, that's the one." The guard nodded and said "Well, even if this is not yours, it's only a hat. And the chest was obviously robbed, but that couldn't have been by you. Count that as the Imperial Legion's gratitude for not stealing when you could have. Though I remember a few strange faces exiting the Bastion in the past hour today.. Oh if I see them again.." with these words the guard escorted Henry back towards the bridge to the Market District.

Henry came into the Merchant's Inn proudly wearing his beloved hat. The day went better than he expected it to go, so he obviously smiled. A couple of people from the prisoner group were already here, including the supposed Hero of Kvatch. The bard's weapon, his spear, would not allow him to sit properly, so he took it off from his back and leaned it by the wall. He went to sit at the bar counter and ordered something to eat for the last ten septims he had. Henry felt fairly hungry as he had nothing but prison food for the last two days. While waiting, he started replacing the broken strings on his lute by spare ones he took from his bag.

I've just realized Arowne has only posted once in the IC so far o.0 perhaps i should create an inactive character list...

Isn't Arowne the one in Cheydinhal? She doesn't have too much to do, lol
When Henry entered the Arboretum he saw some people there, what was to be expected during daytime. After the fight, Henry's rags were dirty and torn, so he probably reminded everyone a homeless person, rather than an escaped prisoner. Henry also tried to look like a beggar - he tried to seem sad, did not look anybody in the eyes. That proved to be a good tactic, because nobody gave him a second glance, so Henry easily crossed the Arboretum, while being gazed upon by the statues of the Gods. The bard entered the Temple District soon enough.

With his injured leg, he started going towards the Temple of the One. He entered it, along with at least a couple of other people. Henry found what he came here for - Tandilwe, the priest of the Temple was here, as she usually was. Henry limped toward her, still trying to act like a beggar. He stopped so he would be in sight of Tandilwe, and then carefully knelt, trying to make an impression that it was very painful, thought the reality was not far from that. He then started mumbling as if praying.

“God! What happened to you? Poor soul!” Henry heard behind him and smiled inside.
“Excuse me, kind lady. I was pushed from stairs by a big fella’ this night. Injured my leg, but I’m alive, so I came to thank the Gods for my life.” Henry said, while still kneeling and facing the shrine, trying to sound like a homeless person with all his acting ability. Tandilwe actually fell for that and not three minutes after she suggested that she could heal Henry’s leg, as she knew Restoration. Henry accepted as humbly as he could. The healing process was not long, as his leg was not hurt too much and Tandilwe really knew Restoration magic well. After she healed the injury, Henry stretched his hand with a septim in it, while shaking it, so it would seem that he was deeply thankful. Well, technically the bard WAS deeply thankful, but he would never do things like that if he was himself. Tandilwe tried to refuse the septim, but Henry put it in her hand, and went towards the exit, while thanking her three more times.

When he left the Temple, he walked towards the Green Emperor’s Way, then through it, and into the Market District, where Henry walked straight before turning right to the alley where the Feed Bag was. Henry quickly entered. The tavern was empty, so no one will notice him, Henry thanked the Gods for that. The owner of the inn, or as most people refer to it “a bar”, greeted me “Put on the feed bag! We’ve lots of… Oh It’s You.“

“Aye, Delos, it’s me. And I’ve come to take back my possessions. They’re upstairs I believe?” – he nodded slowly, though there was some hesitation in the nod.
“You were to die. The guards told me so. If you’re an escaped prisoner, I want no business with you.”
“Just give me back my lute, let me take any of my clothes, my spear and let me wash away the dirt. I’ll pay you for it. I’ll leave all my other belongings to you.” – Henry told him as he started to go towards the stairs. However, Delos made no move, so the bard added a “Please?”.
The innkeeper hesitantly led Henry upstairs and waved to go in. Henry saw from the first moment, why Delos was so hesitant. All his lute strings were broken, but two of them. Its surface seemed somewhat scratched and a painted ornament was rubbed off. All of his bag was unloaded and ransacked, so Delos was obviously looking if Henry had any valuable belongings. There was no need to try and hope to find some spare coins in there for the bard then.

“They tried to destroy your instrument. They said it was a demon’s lute..” – the innkeeper started apologizing, so Henry lifted his hand as to say “Enough”. He quickly found things he looked for in (or around) his travel bag. The bard took some clothes from it and spare lute strings he had, washed his face with water from a bucket, put on the found clothes, took his spear and then looked at the lute. He packed it carefully and said to the inkeep’ “Next time, when a bard plays in this hole of yours, please, try and calm your visitors, when a bunch of drunken idiots try to kill the musician. Or at least speak up for him, when the guards are taking him away.” Henry started going towards the stairs, but stopped and added “Or if you are incapable of all this, at least try to look after his belongings until he is back.” Henry smiled with a most artificial smile possible, before descending the steps. He then put half of the septims he had, making it 10, one the table and left the Feed Bag.

While outside, Henry sighed. He will need to fix his lute sometime later, but the bard still had one job he needed to do – he needed to get back his hat from the Imperial Prison evidence chest. He started slowly going towards the Prison District of the Imperial city, thinking of a way to get it back.
The bard smiled back to the both Orsimers and then he got some seriousness in his face. Henry looked around and sighed. What he had in mind was more than just buy things, he needed to get back things. Septims might be of use, but they won't fully solve the problem. He quickly thought about everything for a moment. After the fight in the Feed Bag inn in the Market District, the guards took the bard with nothing but his clothes and hat on to the imperial prison. "Tough luck getting that back." Henry thought. He did not want to give up the hat, because it is hard getting a hat of good quality in such a small amount of time. His lute and spear, along with other items he had, was probably claimed by the innkeeper, as he left them in a room of the Innkeeper where he was allowed to put all his belongings for safekeeping, so those should be easier to get back. So much for safekeeping.

"Well, so much to do, so little time, goodbye, dear comrades" Henry bowed. "I hope to see y'all in the Merchant's Inn."

With these words Henry started slowly limping towards the entrance of the Arboretum, planning to go the Temple District from there. His leg was still quite injured, but he had something in mind for it.
Henry just looked to the pouch that the Dark Elf has left and looked at it for a moment. Then he looked the Dark Elf, who was going away from the group. He turned his gaze on to the pouch again. He then nodded to himself.

"Aye, Hero of Kvatch. Well, I'm content with that. I've just been saved by a hero of our time. Don't know 'bout you people, but it's my profession to follow the likes of him." Henry said and slowly went to the money pouch. He took some septims, not too much and not too less for what he was planning to do, while listening to the remark about their appearance from the Orc woman.

"You can take off the prisoner rags here, no one has orders to look for a naked Orsimer, you know" Henry said and smiled mysteriously, then started chuckling and pointed to the other male Orsimer of their group before continuing. "I'm sure the big guy wouldn't mind either."
