ERSONALITY
self-explanatory (I hope)

RCANA
Each character in the series is represented by one of the twenty-two major arcana found in a typical tarot deck. Your arcana should match your personality as closely as it can. I will not be accepting any arcana that aren't listed so there's no need to bother asking.

ERSONA
A Persona is the manifestation of one's personality and power. The series has a plethora of different beings to choose from. If none of them suit your fancy, you can get a general idea of how to make your own if you'd like. One fantasy lookin' pic and a name based on a mythological or fantasy figure and bam, Persona. If you have any questions or need guidance let me know--don't be discouraged if the Persona you would like to have isn't in your arcana, I'm willing to be flexible about it.

KILLS
There are physical skills and magical skills. The former is pretty obvious--by sacrificing some of your health, you can inflict massive damage to the enemy. of course, the payoff is that you only have so much health, though of course if you're healed up you can continue to use physical skills. That said, magic skills use up spirit points (which is basically mana in this world) and is not limitless.
The latter are divided into a few different categories, though we'll start with elemental skills. So, most Persona tend to have an element attached to them, but instead of being called fire, ice, etc., they go by different names here, with a prefix and additional part added to dictate its power and how many it can target--for example, a fire spell is called Agi. The strongest form of that spell is Agidyne, with -dyne indicating its power. Maragidyne with the prefix of Ma- (with the R added only in this case) indicates that it selects multiple targets.
In addition to the offensive elemental magic, there are also healing, support, ailment, and passive skills. With the exception of the last one, the prefix and suffix rules also apply! Healing spells are self-explanatory, support skills have an assortment of different attacks ranging from boosting your allies' attack to lowering an enemy's defense. Ailment skills inflict status effects like confusion, charm, and sleep. Finally, passive skills also have a variety that usually just help in the long run.

Now, with all that in mind, you'll get 3 skills to start off with.

RANSFORMATION
Once your character's Persona awakens, your character's clothes and whatnot change to match your 'rebirth'.

EAPON
In addition to some rad new clothes you get something to probably smash into the shadows' faces. What is it? Note that there are few limitations since you don't have the baggage of bringing it back and forth from the real world to the other side.

ISTORY
The current year IC wise is 2018, with the RP's starting date being April 9th (Monday).

ISC
misc info that you can add if you'd like

The room you awaken in is draped in a swathe of deep blue. It appears to be a luxurious train cart, a variety of cushioned seats on either side. You swear you can hear what sounds like music coming from all around you, though there are no speakers that you can see. The train feels like it is moving, though several curtains block the outside view. Any attempt at removing them is blocked, and a single wooden door decorated in an odd insignia appearing to be a mask. For some reason, it looks familiar, and without realizing it, your hand is reaching out towards the handle. As your hand is just about to touch the doorknob, a voice calls out to you.

"Welcome to the Velvet Room."

The voice is decidedly male and coming from behind you; standing next to a small, wooden desk with a quill and paper on it is a young man dressed entirely in rich, blue clothes and platinum blonde hair with golden eyes gives you a warm smile, a large book residing in one hand with his other hand raised to his chest as he bows to you. Once he straightens up, he clears his throat before speaking.

"Normally, my master would be the one welcoming you. However, he is unwell due to a recent incident; I will be attending you instead," He explains, his voice smooth and gentle. "I am William, a faithful assistant of my master, and denizen of this place. I understand your awakening is unusual, but there isn't much time before you return to your world. Instead, I will present you with the contract awaiting your signature. Once you've signed, we can begin."

He brandishes an arm, revealing previously unseen paper with a feathered quill in an inkwell sitting next to it. On said paper it is written:

I give you this to take with you:
Nothing remains as it was. If you know this, you can
begin again, with pure joy in the uprooting.

The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you've come.

There is a space for your signature at the bottom. Once you take the quill and sign, the page bursts into a blue flame. William doesn't seem surprised, though he does look at your hand. You then notice the feather begin to burn and release it as it too is swallowed by fire. However, instead of disappearing, instead, it changes shape, revealing a key. You realize the mask on it matches the symbols on the door, though before you can inquire, an unknown voice echoes in your mind:

I am thou...Thou art I
From the sea of thy soul, I come
The flames of thy rebirth are as mere embers
They eagerly await the spark of your awakening
Go forth and seek out the lost virtue

The key glows brightly before fading away at your touch. The attendant gives you an amused but apologetic smile, though he doesn't comment as he instead opens his book. A bright, blue light emerges from the pages, taking the form of a card.

"The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed. You are no exception," William tells you as the card materializes. "The Fool represents a new beginning. Appropriate for your journey, if a little on-the-nose. I suppose this truly signifies the end for our previous guest." His eyes soften, the smallest hint of a frown on his expression before he looks at you again. "You'll find there are others out there who have visited this place just like you. As I mentioned, your awakening is most unusual. It isn't often that we give out multiple contracts like this, but I believe once your power has been realized, everything will come together."

The card fades away as William closes his book, giving you a stern expression. "Your power will awaken soon. When the time comes, take your key and let the flames of rebirth burst from within. Until next we meet, I bid you farewell." He once again bows to you as everything darkens.

A spotlight appears, once again illuminating the mysterious door. An unfamiliar pull draws you to it, and without hesitation, you open the door and step through. A large, thick curtain hangs before you, though it doesn't leave you wondering what's behind it for too long as it is gently pulled aside. A grand stage is revealed with a multitude of figures cluttered front and center. The music from before sounds louder here, and as the song continues, the figures' shapes becoming clearer: an orchestra is performing for you. Several instruments join in, and soon a single, female voice gorgeously performs the aria. It touches your soul in a way you can't describe, soothing yet invigorating, but there is little time to dwell on it as another spotlight draws your attention.

It illuminates a risen platform behind the orchestra. A silhouette matching the figures approaches the light, revealed only once they fully step into the light. What appears to be a young woman with blonde hair dressed in a deep, rich blue gown stands there, her eyes closed as she gives you a curtsey. Out of the corner of your eye, a bright, blue butterfly flutters over, seemingly ignored until it lands on her right eye. Nonetheless, a golden hue is revealed as she opens her free eye, giving you a small smile. Her lips move, and despite not uttering anything, you can barely make it out. It looks like she's saying...

The butterfly on her eye erupts, engulfing her in light, though the light shines so brightly that you can't see a thing. Once you close your eyes and open them again, you're back in reality.

What was that?

Eris shook his head at the response, though once again he wasn't sure why he was surprised. It wasn't that he would classify Max as a bum, but good stars was the kid lazy when he had the option to be. He'd have to have that taken care of sooner or later. But as mentioned, he was in a good mood and feeling particularly generous. That and he'd need a little time to accurately come up with a plan. He'd have Ismene draw up a few ideas for him to bounce off of once she finished her own meeting since he was expecting a call after that anyway.

"Excuse you, I happen to know the sun is still exceedingly bright," Eris feigned putting his hand over his eyes, squinting upwards. Right, he did actually know. It was so bright it hurt to look at--was that typical for mortals, too? It took him some getting used to the bright lights and flashes, but even they paled in comparison. He knit his eyebrows in frustration as he realized that the challenge had come up again. He was never going to rid himself of it, was he?

Still, now was as good a time as ever. "No thanks, talking to someone in the shower is only fun if you're in there together," He dismissed the suggestion casually, motioning towards the door. "Pretty sure I saw something at the entrance, though. But more importantly--"

He stopped himself, averting his gaze. What was even the point of asking, anyway? He probably wasn't going to end up getting a straight answer. Despite his better judgment, he continued, "...I'm sure mortals have their own songs about the sun, anyway," He shrugged, staring upwards. "Something that big and bright...it outclasses even the moon and stars."

The princess' laughter was charming, though Lilie had to admit the thought of a centuries-old-being learning common phrases definitely entertained her to no end. Still, she felt bad keeping her longer than she should have, so she returned the princess' wave with one of her own before returning to her dorm. The heat warmed her up immensely, the feeling returning to her cheeks and fingers as she hung up her coat. Once she slipped out of her boots, she decided to leave Ben's mail at his study before taking a glance at the clock. Now was a pretty good time to get his drink, too.

Bottled blood had admittedly been the least of her worries but she had to admit that it was still a little gross. Ben had asked her to make sure it was 'chilled' and to leave him a half-filled glass on his desk. The smell had taken some getting used to, but what really made her squirm was pouring it out. It wasn't exactly like juice or wine, but thicker, and it was too weird to watch. Of course, this ironically made her more careful--the thought of cleaning it up scared her more than pouring it, so after fighting through discomfort, the glass was left next to Ben's mail and the rest was put away.

Shivering a touch, she returned to her room in time for her phone to chime at her. Her heart almost stopped and she immediately ran to her nightstand, hastily unlocking it. Instead of getting a sign of life from Aaron, however, it had been Salem. The disappointment hurt her a little, wishing that it had been the blond instead, but she wasn't that lucky today. No, that was mean, she still appreciated getting messages from her friends. Letting out a small sigh, she opened up the message, letting out a small giggle. Yeah, most mages were probably only just now getting up, huh?

> You're so sweet, same to you! No worries, I'm already up!(っ^▿^)

Once she sent the message, she double-checked to make sure she hadn't missed anything else, but Salem had been the only one to text her. Maybe Aaron was ignoring her? She did end up spamming him, maybe he got annoyed? As unlikely as it was, she figured even he had his limits. No, it wasn't good to let her imagination run wild. Her grip on her phone tightened for a second before she let out a sigh, placing it down next to her. As desperate as she was for any response, good or bad, all she could do was wait.

"Pah! Musicals, as if I'd ever lower myself to such a thing," Eris immediately scoffed, placing his hands on his hips as he turned towards the door. "They're entertaining, I'll give you that, but artistically speaking they lack merit. Some have alright plots and catchy songs, I suppose, but true musical theater should be left to operas; it's accurate to describe them as experiences that fill the souls of all that hear them with awe. It's a privilege to see one in person."

Honestly, the audacity to even suggest such a thing was ludicrous. One could argue that he had sold out--he wouldn't really fight back against that--but he still had every ounce of his old theater passion and refused to let the kid shit on that, too. Musicals, ridiculous. That said, the kid and his father had the same opinion, which did annoy Eris a little. There's nothing wrong with his voice, anyway, it was perfectly average and pitched well!

Wait a second, he didn't come here to rant about music or his singing voice. Catching himself, Eris rolled his eyes, putting his full attention back on the brunet. "Besides, it was just a nursery rhyme. You can't tell me you've never heard of 'Little Moonbeam' before," He couldn't help but get that last part in before straightening up a touch. "Of course I'm in a good mood! There's a lot of snow outside so on our way to class there'll be a lot of people slipping and sliding everywhere. It'll be great to see."

He looked the mage up and down, a late realization hitting him. "What're you still doing in bed, anyway? Classes are going to start soon, and the first thing you'll be doing is your affinity class," He said, kneeling down to lift Maxie onto the bed as she happily cuddled up to Max. "I don't want you slacking off, I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress."

Kazuki didn't expect to be here this soon, so they were both surprised. He'd be lying if he said he didn't already map out a few plans of escape the second he stepped in, but that wasn't the point. As Graves explained his understanding of Kazuma's actions, he wondered if he was just paying lip service or if there was something more to it. Maybe he could relate to it, considering how much Kazu would throw himself into fights it wouldn't be surprising to learn Graves was the same way. Still, as he spoke, Kazuki was reminded of why he wanted the guy on his side earlier.

At the mention of Kazuki being included, that much actually surprised him, even if he didn't show it much. At the last part, however, he had to bite his tongue. As much as he wanted to insist it was earned--not a stretch considering he literally asked for it--he held back. What was important was getting everyone together and getting an actual plan of attack together, so it speak. Even if he figured he wouldn't be of much help, the very minimum he could do was shut up and go along.

The conversation he had with Seele rang in his head; following her advice was probably best. Giving Graves a nod in understanding, he looked towards Rael, also remembering something. For now, he'd put it aside. "I'm also sorry. I was...selfish in the moment," He'd admit that much at least. As silence fell, he felt like he was supposed to say something else, but he was honestly clueless as to what else he could say. Looking back at Seele for a little help, he cleared his throat.

"But...let bygones be bygones," He mumbled, a little embarrassed as he hastily thought of another conversation topic to avoid prolonging the awkwardness. "Though, if I can ask, what are you doing here? I can't imagine the members too happy to see any of us."

Eris let out a groan as he inspected his hair in the mirror, clucking his tongue in disappointment as he plucked some hair away from his face, watching its fall intently. As it swayed and landed, he visibly deflated. His hair outright refused to cooperate with him today and it was getting on his nerves. All it needed to do was fall precisely the way he wanted it to and he would be done. But no, that would be too much to ask for, and he wasn't about to resort to hair spray like some sort of heathen. The urge to shave his head off was getting more and more tempting. Fortunately that was just his frustration talking and he'd sooner walk out into the day than actually do such a thing.

As the thought crossed his mind, Eris dropped his hand, fiddling with the silver charm as his thumb ran over the indent of the symbol engraved into it. Vampires walking in the daylight, like Varis did back in that odd challenge. The brightness of the snow covered grounds had also reminded him about it, but it wasn't really a comparison. He honestly tried not to think of it more than he needed to--there were far too many important things he was constantly juggling--but time and time again he'd go over the moment. There were so many better things he could have said, but he supposed the confusion of the moment overwhelmed him. Pathetic, of course, but the moment had long since passed.

Even so, did he really want to see how different things would have turned out?

Maxie's bark snapped hi out of his thoughts, and after giving up on his hair, he turned his attention to the little puffball of happiness. "What a noisy girl," He chided her as he knelt down, eyes following the fluff of her tail wagging. "Did mean ol' Wells close the door on you again?" He asked, lightly scratching behind her ear.

Once he stood, he watched her scuttle away and ended up following her, watching as she diligently sat outside Max's door. Putting everything else out of mind, Eris waltzed over, making his footsteps soundless. He opened the door as quietly as he could muster, albeit as soon as he had enough room, he bounced in, flashing a grin.

"Rise and shine! The moonlight is bright and the evening is young!" Eris announced, arms wide as he recited some old greeting that his mother used to give him when he was small punctuated by an excited Maxie's yips. "There is an eternity to rest and much to be done! We have only so much time until the rise of the sun!"

Aurora de Realis-Donati

Personal Dossier

Name
Aurora Lune de Realis-Donati

Age
19

Gender
Female

Origin
Terra Nova

Appearance
Standing at five feet six inches, Aurora is a young woman who carries herself with grace and dignity at all times. Her heart shaped face adds to her attractiveness, her big, chocolate brown eyes makes her expressions stand out. She sports an extremely curvaceous body, her fair skin is flawless and her long, brown hair is always shiny--it's obvious that she takes pride in her appearance and takes very good care of herself. Everything she wears from head to toe probably costs more than anything most can afford, as she wears only the finest.

Personality
Aurora is the best of the best and would rather you don't go forgetting it. The word 'tact' doesn't exist in her dictionary, speaking her mind freely and disliking it when she's told to do otherwise. She loves playing coy and plays the part of a flirt well when needed, although she prefers making people chase her. The only thing she likes more than people telling her how beautiful she is is getting as much praise as possible. Her tendency to hone in on people's weaknesses and her delight at exploiting them tend to make people very wary of her. Nevertheless, her bravery is second to none, having no fear of the unknown and is more than willing to jump in headfirst into any new challenges.

Background Information
The marriage of the heir of the Realis Holdings to the Donati Corporation's heiress was celebrated as a union of two industry giants. While the two remain separate, the family is united through Aurora. Of course, a marriage of convenience can only be tolerated for so long, especially with the disappointment concerning heirs; both camps had hoped for a male heir. After fourteen years of pampering their princess and readying her for a life of luxury, everything was tossed aside at the arrival of a bouncing baby boy.

Since she was no longer needed, Aurora decided to make herself useful by using her talents elsewhere; in her mind, if she could prove herself by becoming a successful pilot and make a name for herself, then she wouldn't need anyone.
