Blood: Mixed. Her father is a muggle born Italian and her mother was born into a magically gifted Irish/British family. It is hard to say as to if that side of the family is pure blood or not. They believe in loving whomever you love, equating to there being marriages to both purebloods and muggle borns.

It is said that a laurel wand cannot perform a dishonourable act, although in the quest for glory (a not uncommon goal for those best suited to these wands), I have known laurel wands perform powerful and sometimes lethal magic. Personality: Compassionate and steadfast, Beatrice is always out to help others and stand up for what is right. She is playful and fits in well with her house as one would have to be very clear or harm her greatly in order to lose her loyalty and friendship. Beatrice is always thinking of the good in others. She is determined and disciplined in almost everything she does.

History: Beatrice was raised within the magical community but often visited her Nono and Nona with family, giving her experience in the muggle world. She has a younger sister, and her parents love her very much. They are always encouraging her to strive to be the best version of herself she can be.
Beatrice was very excited to receive her letter to attend Hogwarts, just as her parents had. She was even more excited to finally be able to own a cat. She picked out a lovely, large, male tortishell kitten. She practically dragged the poor animal everywhere she goes, though he doesn’t seem to mind.

Makoto stepped off of the bus with her bag. She had been enrolled in a local university and had been living with a few other girls in a rather average home. Of course, she had spent just as much time practising her powers as she was hiding them. Especially with technology, she had already fried a few things from accidently exposing the machine to too much electricity. Makoto was always thankful to have the cellphone that Storm gave her. It was vibrant orange and bulky, not so fashionable but it was resistant to her abilities.

"I'm off the bus, just a block walk to the Academy." She texted to the three contacts in her phone; Storm, Phoebe and Kat. They were all likely in class but she liked to think that her friends from last year and her mentor, who helped her make the decision to come back to the Academy, would like to know she was here. With a sigh, not particularly heavy or light, Makoto began to walk the one block to the Academy. Her first day back was to start the day with a scheduled meeting with the principal, Batman. She expected no trouble as this would be her second time through the process.
