Richard Carraway is a very brave and noble man who is willing to risk his own life for his friends and comrades, and has brilliant leadership abilities, leading by example, with a brilliant knack for strategy. With a witty sense of humor, and generally considered easy-going, he gets along well with his team, as long as they don’t step out of line, and the other leaders and their own teams at base.
Richard, however, isn't without his faults as he can be incredibly vindictive and has, on occasion, lost control. It’s also a fact that he never takes well to losing and has difficulty admitting his mistakes.
Backstory -
Richard Carraway joined the military fourteen years ago at the age of fourteen and followed in his father’s footsteps. Although his 'training' as a child, which mainly involved swinging a large stick around and exercising, he didn't quite get himself anywhere when he joined the military and he suffered a few hard years. However, he persevered, constantly thinking of proving himself to his farther, and so the next few years rolled by... mostly without incident. Unlike Maria 'Bullet' Hathaway.
While Richard wasn't physically training, and not getting up to mischief, he spent his time reading history books, and more importantly, books containing detailed battle plans of the greatest victories ever. It didn't show at first, but as time went on, he started to develop a knack for strategy, and coupled with his improving performance in physical training, he rose through the ranks. And when the Offensive Team’s leader got killed by Mistakes during a surprise attack, Richard was left in charge. It’s here that he finally got the recognition he felt like he deserved after he used his leadership abilities, combined with his knack for strategy, to lead his team to victory with minimal loses. And ever since then, he has lead the Offensive Team.

On topic of 'cheeriness' levels...Maria's very laid back as a character. She's not as peppy and friendly as the inexperienced, new-girl Stealth Leader . So you've got a mix of different people to talk to in terms of the GM.IDK what the is like because he hasN'T PUT DOWN A PERSONALITY YET WE'RE WAITING HOVELMEIR NO RUSHBut you've got a cheery one, a laid-back one, and probably some sort of stern manly-man who oozes testosterone by the lorryload. As Malcolm listened to Vladimir talk, he folded his arms behind his back and waited for him to patiently finish, feeling like the vampire's own patience wasn't to be tested at the present. Like Vladimir, Malcolm and Blaire both knew how dangerous hunters were and how much they hated the supernatural. The McKennen Clan themselves had more encounters with them than they could count, so he could understand what he was currently going through with the hunter's presence.
"Understood, Vladimir Kalkovhich," he says after catching sound of him introducing himself to Elena. "I hope I pronounced it correctly? Anyways, I'll go find Rosalind and give her the message after we have introduced ourselves properly." Malcolm then politely bowed his head and walked out slowly, choosing to ignore the threat to his sister as he felt she deserved it after getting them into trouble again, and stepped out of the caravan.
"Blaire. I think that is the tenth time you have gotten us in trouble this year alone!" he says, half joking and half serious, narrowing his eyes towards the main tent. Malcolm's nose was good enough to smell the silver, and making a calculated guess who decided that the hunters were located within the big tent. "Listen, Blaire. I'm going to find this Rosalind. I trust I will see you there--" he starts saying only to cut himself off after noticing his sister has already dashed off to the forest.

"I deeply apologize on my sister's behalf," he says quickly as he places an arm in front of his sister and pushes her back gently so he can stand in between Blaire and Vladimir. This, ladies and gentlemen, is why Blaire doesn't do the talking and Malcolm does! "Our names? Malcolm McKennen and Blaire McKennen respectively, and we have visited because we wish to join your circus and be among people like us so we can properly fit into a society, so to speak."
