"Whoa, slow down Thuly, the park's not going anywhere." Amused by Thulile's enthusiasm, she couldn't help but laugh. Being around her was like having a younger sibling again. "We'll have plenty of time to do everything" she gave a second glance at the roller coaster as her stomach soured at the thought. "Well, mostly everything." Before they could reach the attraction the smaller girl was leading the towards, they were greeted by a familiar face.

One that hadn't been traveling with them long, but was easily recognizable even in a crowd. "Oh, well, looks like we know who to go when we need prizes, good job Lucy."
Sorry for the slow responses, my damn laptop broke, so now I have to post from my phone.
With Asa following, that made three. Well, the more, the merrier. The gang made their way into the park and were instantly hit by the smells of the food and the blaring lights and sounds of the rides and other attractions. To be honest, she had never actually been in side of a theme park. Coming from a small to of four to five hundred people, there wasn't much need for one. All they had in her town were carnivals and fairs, so this was something kind of new to her, yet still the same, minus the petting zoos and pig contests. This was actually better than the fairs and there was so much more to do, she didn't know if they could fit it all into one night. Her attention was caught by a ride Thuly excitedly pointed out, the upside down roller-coaster she called it.

Before she could say anything, her stomach instantly churned at the sight of it. She gagged silently as the coaster flipped directions "yeah, that's some...ride" she forced the last word with a second gag as she stood there watching and hid her sickly face from Thuly as best she could. Audrey didn't have motion sickness, but just looking at that machine was enough to give it to her. She prayed this wasn't the first ride Thuly wanted to go on, she would still ride it, but hopefully they could do something else first.

Thank goodness they hadn't eaten yet. She couldn't bare the thought of embarrassing herself by showing everyone what she had for dinner. "What else do you see Thules?" She tried to steer her excited friend away from the coaster, but, something told her she'd be hugging the trashcan by the ride in a few minutes.
Audrey couldn't help but overhear Eli's comment about upgrading to an RV and to be quite honest, she wouldn't mind it. Vincent most likely would never go for it, yet the thought of more space was ever tempting. The truck had history though, it would be tough to get rid of the old girl after all she brought us through. "Oh, but the leg room, and the beds" she thought to herself, it was an that wasn't easily refused. RV or no the truck had them stranded here until Vince and Eli could fix it, so making the best of the current situation was what mattered. Lost in her thoughts, she was quickly snapped back into reality by thulile asking if she would accompany here to the park.

"Oh, a woman after my own heart" she jokingly mentioned with a chuckle. "Let's go thules, let the boys have their fun." Strolling over to where thulile was, she draped her arm over the girl's shoulder as they started heading towards the park. "If I remember correctly, you're owed some cotton candy and a funnel cake"
After what seemed like (and actually was) hours, they had finally arrived in Eureka town. Audrey stricken with stiffness that would make a corpse jealous hopped out of the truck bed and stretched as much as she could. "Finally, as much as I love driving around in "luxury", that flatbed is about as comfortable as a slab of stone" she said. As far as the sleeping arrangements were concerned, it wouldn't have been her first choice, but Vincent had a point. Unless they wanted to sleep on the streets, this would have to do. "I guess it's not the WORST place we've stayed" she commented. "As long as they have showers" Audrey caught a whiff of herself while stretching and was offended by the smell. It had been a few days and places to bathe were not exactly in abundance on the road. But for now it was time for some fun and most importantly it was time for some funnel cake
"Well well, look who's finally awake" she said "someone enjoyed themselves last night." Giving a smirk that could charm the skin off of a snake, she laid her arm on the side of the truck. "That book must be pretty interesting, knew you'd like it." With the matter of the book, the conversation started with Asa staring at the book like a child at the candy store and her "convincing" him to grab it by starting an altercation with a random guy about inappropriate touching. She still felt bad for that one, but anything to help one of her friends. "Don't worry tiku, he'll have plenty of time to catch up on the long ride there." She snidly mentioned with a smile.
I was just waiting for everyone to get a post in, I'll post tomorrow
"Mmmmm, small animals are more county and state fair territory, but it's possible they might" She said. Her hometown used to hold county fairs every year. She remembered going to them as a kid and visiting the petting zoos they had. As she finished answering Eli's question , she heard Thuly ask about funnel cakes, what they were and what they tasted like and shot up like a lightning bolt at her question "you've never had funnel cake, well you are in for a treat" she said.

Before they could take off, the band of misfits were gifted with a new passenger. A young girl with an interesting haircut. She seemed of the shy sort as she introduced herself as Lucy and asked about the amusement parks. "Audrey" she mentioned with a warm smile "oh, you know, rides, food, games, and other junk."
Thank God no one settled for the small town, Audrey had enough of small towns to last a lifetime. Going to an amusement park sounded like a great time. Lots of people, great food, tons of rides, loads of activities and the latter.

She noticed Bai had camouflaged the truck giving it a new paint job and an interesting sign with a kitten on it "well at least it won't draw any attention" she said. Bai was still a mystery to her. Everyone else checked out, Vincent, Thullie, and Eli seemed as close to normal as the definition would allow, but she couldn't really make heads or tails of Bai. It didn't bother her too much, she was apart of this ragtag group like everyone else and that meant she was family.

She put her book down and stretched out her legs and stretched her arms as far as they would go. "Don't worry Thullie, we'll make sure you get as much as you can handle" she mentioned. Thullie was a fairly new addition to the band of merry runaways.....well...they were all new. "Hey, you think they'll have funnel cake there?" She asked.
