I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

@IceHeart Alright, makes sense. I really love the pitch. So like a western cowboy Beebop? Where everything is grounded, but with some fantastical elements that have a kind of grounded root behind it.

I guess that's a pretty apt description, though I've never actually watched Cowboy Beebop so I wouldn't know. Closest thing I've watched is Outlaw Star. But ya, more grounded but with some fantastical elements.
@Reflection
Frankly I hadn't really thought that far ahead, though I'm sure I was thinking it would be a bit more realistic with sprinklings of other elements to add some flavor. Like I don't think monsters or undead would be 'wild' so to speak, if there is anything like that, more likely than not, there would be some driving force creating them such as a mad scientist. Nothings set in stone but I was leaning toward a more 'low' fantasy type setting if anything.

"Nice to see you too Joseph." I responded back sarcastically as I plopped down in my own seat a little ways from him. If I was going to get a verbal lashing no matter what might as well be sitting down to conserve my strength.

"I see you're just as obnoxious as ever Carol. Must have been some kind of miracle you ever made it through military flight school."

"Well I think you're the only one who can bring out this side of my Joseph. I was the rising star of the air force during my time. Heck, if I had stayed on I might even be a Brigadier General by now."

"If you had stayed one another instance like this would have occurred and you would have been court marshaled and at the very least dishonorably discharged but more likely prison or worse."

I grit my teeth in anger as his words struck home. If I had been a military officer at the time my stupidity would have gotten myself in deep trouble and I knew it. Joseph Danvers still know where to strike to cut me in places I didn't even know I was vulnerable. I glared at my old man from across the room, despite everything the man had done, the loses affecting him, he was still stubborn and strong-willed.

It was one of the qualities I inherited from him.

"Well perhaps if you had put faith in me from the beginning I could have avoided this from the beginning and have become a top figure in NASA before all this happened."
I knew this was a stupid argument but I was heated up and little was gonna stop me right now.

"Bullshit, I knew from the start one of these days you'd let your feminine emotions cloud your judgement and you'd blow like you did just a few months ago!" I could see his face start to heat up toward my level, but I was already raising to a more volatile state.

"But at least then the money you spent would have actually been useful!" Everyone froze after hearing what I said: My brother Joe froze as he had decided at that moment to enter with a peace offering of extra beers and snacks, Joseph froze his mind clouded by rage, and I froze in horror at what I had just shouted without thinking it through.

"Shit...I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean that dad." I was so horrified at what I had uttered I couldn't even keep up my normal bluster by calling him Joseph. My brother Steve, had been the one to receive financial help for College despite my superior grades and being the eldest Danvers. Steve had been a good kid, entered the military out of patriotic duty despite the funds, and died shortly afterward while in the field. His death had really shaken our family down to its core and I had just spat on his legacy.

I hung my head down in shame, already cooling down as I let my hair cover my features as much as possible to try and hide. How could I have let myself go that much, had the abduction incident really screwed me up so bad that I would even desecrate my own dead brother? If mom was still around there was no way things would have disintegrated so much, heck even our previous spats wouldn't have gone on for so long but only because we all would have been a bit more cheerful.

I heard a creak on the floor and realized Joseph had gotten up off his chair and was standing right in front of me. I couldn't help but look up, and was promptly slapped in the face. That wasn't the end though as next he had a fist in my hair and I was literally yanked up to his level by my head. The funny thing was none of that really hurt, but in a way that just made it hurt worse, as inside I felt I kind of deserved it.

"You piece of shit! Complaining so much about how I never helped you then having the gall to say giving my money to my son was a waste! At least unlike your sorry ass he gave his life for his country and what about you! You survived and yet all you are doing right now is wallowing in self-pity!" Spittle launched from his mouth and hit my face but despite all my power, I just let it happen. I always kind of had a bit of a dream, to one day completely overpower my dad. As a military gal I could already hold my own but my father was a tough old cracker and I never had a distinct advantage over him, but now all I wanted to do was turn back time a little so I could take back my thoughtless words.

Joe apparently couldn't stand it anymore and interrupted the verbal beat-down. "Blast it Carol, dang it father! Settle down already you nut jobs! It's going to be Christ's own birthday soon! Mother is not here any more but she would have loved us to sit down and enjoy our time together like a family would. We've never had the happiest of homes but at least whenever there was a holiday we would come together and make do!" Joe clenched his fists, knowing in a fight he was completely useless so the only things he had were his words, but they struck as true as any heat-seeking missile.

Joseph grunted, but also relented and pushed me back down in my chair as he released me. I collapsed into the chair more angry at myself than anything else. Why was I such a screw-up?

While I was trying to think of a way to better apologize that strange pager SWORD had given me started vibrating. I fished into my pocket and brought it up for a look, while Joseph had one more jab to make.

"So is that your back-up boyfriend or something?"
He sneered as I stared at the message.

[Carol Danvers, SWORD requires your expertise on a certain matter. A Quinjet will pick you up outside.]

It was short but what SWORD wanted SWORD got. Since I was going my Quinjet while I could just fly by myself, it was fairly obvious they didn't want me to know wherever it was was located. It looked like I might not even be able to enjoy Christ's birthday with my family, even if that enjoyment was going to be minimal.

"It's work actually, kind of a side-job I have going right now before I decide what course to take next." As I talked the Quinjet in question was already touching down on the street right outside the house. I hurried to get ready, checking to make sure I had everything I needed, then realizing I hadn't really taken anything with me considering I had flow incognito to get here. That also meant that my little communication device most certainly had a tracker on it, SHIELD and SWORD really did like those kinds of things.

"Look...both of you, for what it's worth I am really sorry for what I said. I let my anger get the better of me and cloud my judgment, it's something I'll have to work on. I'll try to finish up quick and be back by Christmas!" Not wanting to face them any longer I bolted for the door. The ramp was already down and I quickly climbed on board where I saw a familiar, green-haired face with dark glasses, Abigail Brand.

"Welcome Carol Danvers, we have a pressing matter that needs your attention."

"What the heck kind of side-job gets you that kind of a ride?" Joe asked his jaw still open after seeing Carol being whisked away on the advanced aircraft.

"Beats me." Joseph shrugged as he stared at the small dot the quinjet had already become. "Carol may be an idiot and a lousy daughter, but she's a tough one, probably the only good thing she managed to get from me." Soon it was already too small to be registered to the naked eye, or maybe that was its stealth capabilities.

"I know you've never been a model father to any of us but even to this day you still treat Carol the worst. Why can't you just lighten up dad?"

"Hell no...being a veteran is the only thing I got left and sometimes, having an enemy can be just as inspiring as having a friend. Heck what am I defending myself to you about you spineless fool! Living the high life in those fancy buildings of yours, makes me gag."

"You know what I got you for Christmas dad? A mug that says 2nd best father."

"You better not have or I'll tan your civilian hide so hard your girlfriend will leave you!"

"Just kidding...ugh I wish Carol could have stayed so you'd have to split your ire between us."
"The World has no End"

By Famous Philosopher Quintin Kuatillian

This famous phrase has been the reality that has limited the land humans have been able to settle. The world is like a wasteland, full of deserts, badlands, little shelter, and only a few springs of water. The land goes on for eternity in all directions and all explorers would either return to one of the few livable towns or die out in the expanse. Then everything changed once a strange building was discovered out in the middle of nowhere, this was the first train station.

Since that fateful day centuries ago life forever changed. Two sets of infinite railway tracks were set side by side, allowing for trains to travel in either direction. Whenever a train leaves another is soon to take it's place within a day or two. No one knows how this system came to be but humanity was soon to take advantage of it to travel the world. Pretty much wherever there is a train station a new settlement would pop up and various people would scout the nearby area for places to settle and riches to collect. Humanity continued to expand through these train stations and have stretched out across the expanse.

"The World is the Rail-line"

By Railway Entrepreneur Jonathan Steamholt

The tracks never bend and the only way known to revisit a location is to take the other line to head back the way you came. Philosophers and Scientist have concluded that the world is a flat, never ending plain that goes on for eternity. As it is infinite, it is unknown if the railways have an end themselves and as yet they appear to go on forever. As a result most people tend to stay in near one train station for most of their life and only travel a few stations at most before heading back home. Of course not everyone is content to stay in one spot and constantly move from station to station for adventure and excitement. Such people are often called Riders.

The potential roleplay would follow several riders as they travel by train across the world. Dropping by various locations for exploration and interaction. The roleplay would be somewhat of a Western type setting with guns and of course the occasional train heist with perhaps a splash of steampunk and mystical elements. Due to its nature there would be few permanent fixtures as unless there is a need to head back for story reasons, each location will be left behind after its story has been told and the characters move on to the next station. As such I think probably a log section would be used to keep track of locations along the railway sort of like the fashioning of a map of sorts.

Course want to see potential interest first before making anything more concrete.
A second character, hmm, well there is a small boat-load of characters I probably would have been interested in trying. I know I considered She-Hulk and Zatanna for a bit before zeroing completely in on Ms. Marvel. Supergirl, Batgirl, Starfire, while not a thing in this roleplay did have some ideas for 'good' villain characters, like maybe a Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost who did not descend down the crime route. There are a lot of ideas out there, those are just some of the surface scratchers.

As for characters from other sources...well not really too knowledgeable about other publishers and such. Maybe TMNT, Voltron, Harvey Birdman[just kidding about that one, honest], Cybersix, Gargoyles, really depends on what exactly would be considered other publishers and all that.
Only more more post of good-old family time before leaving prologue and character building stages.

Just watched VENOM. As long as you can remove your spidey-fan-boyishness associated with Venom behind before heading in, you can enjoy the ride as a 'what if' scenario where Venom never bonded with Spider-Man. It was fun at least, too bad about the lighting in a lot of the scenes though. Venom/Eddie banter certainly the high-light of the movie.

Fun spin-off and even got its obligatory Stan-Lee cameo.

Certainly could have been better but I was able to enjoy it so at least that.

Beverly Massachusetts

It had been a long time since I had laid eyes on my old home. A decent sized, one-story house in the side pockets of Beverly Massachusetts. It looked like it had gotten a new coat of paint since I had last seen it. It certainly was a quaint little suburban area, an almost picture perfect type look one might see in those old commercials where the mother happily did the house chores while the kids played and the father came home every night to smiles and hugs; the place even had a white-picket fence.

The truth of the matter was it had been anything but the ideal home. My father, Joe Danvers, had been a very strict father, expecting great things from us all yet only what I did was never enough for him. His drinking habits certainly hadn't helped matters and at times he had even grown quite violent. Thankfully nothing beyond a few bruises here and there, considering he was ex-military I could say in retrospect I had actually gotten off pretty lightly when he was in a foul mood. Still it didn't excuse his behavior one bit.

I was now dressed in a rather casual plaid, red and blue button shirt, blue-jeans, white sneakers, and a dark brown pilot-type jacket with fur trim. I stood idly in front of the door for a bit kind of regretting having bothered to come. I had never had a good relationship with my father and while I was in the service my mother had passed away, last time I had seen him was at her funeral. Still, I was a responsible adult, and a soldier, I couldn't let the thought of facing down my old man scare me off while I faced down alien menaces.

With a sigh I ran a hand through my hair to calm down, then pressed that fateful doorbell. The familiar chimes rang, reminded me for a second it would be the holidays soon, and I waited for what seemed like minutes but in reality was 20 seconds tops. Soon the door opened to reveal the person behind it; it was my brother Joe, well his name was Joseph like my father but everyone called him Joe.

"Hey Carol how are you doing! Frankly I'm surprised to see you here." Joe smiled on eye contact quickly let me in. I suppose at the moment you could call Joe the success story of the family a the moment, he was an architect with quite a few large buildings to his name already.

"Believe me Joe, I'm probably as surprised as you are...so how is Joseph doing?" I just couldn't force myself to actually call the man dad or father. He had given me life, given me a roof over my head and food to eat, but the support that a father should have given his daughter had never really been there. Joe of course frowned a bit at me using his name like a stranger.

"I really hope you two can make up someday, I may have not said much back when we were kids but nowadays it's just rather depressing to witness."

"Well he needs to apologize to me first before that can happen." I glared at Joe who merely sighed.

"Yes, yes, I know he was a complete douche bag to you and even mother sometimes, but he is still our father."

"The only thing about him I respect is his veteran status Joe, as a father he was a complete ass. If we were not both military people I doubt I would ever have the heart to come back here. Anyway, where is dad?"

"He's watching TV in the family room, I think I'll stay back for a moment while you two, work things out." Joe retreated down the left hall, leaving me alone in the entry way. The house seemed, darker than usual, perhaps a testament to mother's passing, taking away with it the small light that had been left. The family room was straight back a few feet and to the right, such a short distance but my body really did not want to take those few steps.

I slapped my face with my hands to get myself moving. "Keep it together Carol, he is just your old man." With resignation in my steps I made my way down. Sure enough, there he was sitting in his recliner with a beer in one hand and the TV showing some old TV that reminded him of better days.

Despite his look of slothfulness he still had his military senses about him and turned to look straight at me as I made my way in. There was a moment of silence as we stared at each other.

"Well guess the prodigal daughter has returned I see? Only coming back after your big screw up?" He couldn't help but smirk a bit and take another sip of his beer.

Yep, things were already back to the way they were.

This sucks.
I've been sick for three days, yay. Finally got my energy back but taking a second day off work to make sure I don't relapse or something. Anyway now with my energy back should be able to get something going.

Cape Canaveral, Florida / December

It had been a while since I had been able to look over that famous launch pad. It was currently night time so the many lights all over space program grounds made it seem almost magical. There was of course no space shuttle on the pad and the entire place was practically empty except for some random vehicles and equipment. There had been a time when I thought NASA and all the hubub surrounding the space program was the most exciting and fantastic adventure ever.

Boy did that ever get flipped around fast.

My time had NASA had certainly changed how I viewed the world. Before that we had known about hostile alien life but the most prominent 'alien' had been Superman. Superman looked just like us, though he was of course ridiculously overpowered compared to humans, and he seemed to be a force for good. Then I got to first hand experience the terror of a hostile alien empire and their ruthless ways. Now even the glamour of Superman has lost its appeal to me. The launch pad was empty, like my dream, like my job, like my life goals.

My best friend certainly helped, we had a wonderful time in that small bar a few days ago, but I was still quite out of it. I had been so busy dealing with my own crap that I had completely missed all of that Silver Surfer business and that superhero gang up battle that had happened. The Raft had been pretty much obliterated in the process and a lot of really bad folks gone free, but frankly I was sure they would all get rounded up sooner or later, my eyes were fixed on the stars and the terrors that could come from them, or even the ones that were already here.

Cupping my hands in front of me I blew into them, my breath turning into frost as it exited my lungs. It was quite a cold night.

"Maybe it's about time I visited home, the holidays are coming up after all."

I spoke to no one but myself as I considered what to do next. On my person at all times was a special messenger device that S.W.O.R.D. had given me in case I was needed. Really I had no real choice in that matter but as an ex-solider I knew my duty even if I didn't really feel up to the task. A few random things to look into had popped up in the last three months but nothing major, actually knowing that there were alien forces interested in our planet, the silence was rather unsettling.

At the moment I was wearing a purple hoodie and blue-jeans but that was soon to change. One of the strangest abilities I had gotten from the incident was the ability to change my own clothes on a molecular level. I wasn't very good at it and needed a little energy boost so, taking out a small light flashlight from my pocket I turned it on and placed my hand over it. The heat and light energy from the flashlight permeated my hand and I could feel my body greedily devour the energy, it was a very strange sensation. The best I could describe it, was like drinking a coffee and instantly feeling that caffeine rush, it was kind of like I was a rechargeable battery these days.

Within moments I had enough excess energy to do the simple task of restructuring my clothes. Kind of like a strange liquid, the clothes seemed to dissolve on my body and then reformed into my new 'flight' suit. A red-leotard like suit with a star like shape on the chest, a black eye-mask, thigh-high boots, and black combat gloves. It really was nothing like I thought I would ever wear but ever since the explosion this outfit had just seemed right for whenever I took to the skies. I had a feeling the outfit actually had some significance to the Kree but I was not exactly sure how or why, but I did know it was very similar to the outfit Mar-vell had worn when he rescued me.

I suppose he had more of an influence on me than I thought.

Taking off into the sky I couldn't help but comment to myself, "Well flying with my own power had always been a dream when I was small, wish it could have been achieved without my DNA being bound to some alien race though. I will admit, it is gonna save me an arm and a leg in the long run though."

Captain Mar-vell

Somewhere in central USA

The Kree operative was currently cursing his bad luck as he searched high and low for any sign of the object he was looking for. The last time he had check it had been hidden in a nearby cave, well actually he had positioned it there himself so it wouldn't attract unwanted attention. Just a week ago he had realized that all communication and signals had been cut off, which was strange as it should have been transmitting at all times. Sometimes it would move on its own but never very far and usually it had been easy to find.

The absolute worst case scenario was that Colonel Yon-Rogg, when he had escaped the blast, had somehow found out where it had been hidden and had taken it for himself. If that was the case he had no idea...no wait he actually had the exact idea what kind of damage the anger driven navy colonel could do to the planet if left to his own devices. But even if he had somehow done that, he doubted the colonel knew how to shut off all communication with the device so thankfully that scenario seemed unlikely.

With a sigh, he returned to the cave where he had hidden the object and decided to take a closer look this time. Very quickly he realized in his haste he had totally missed the tell-tale signs that recently a rather large object had been moved with the help of machinery. He also realized that there were foot-prints, human foot-prints on the cave floor, which would have been unnoticeable normally but with some special Kree sensor goggles it was readily apparent.

"Son of a Schlag! That has actually fallen into human hands! If they somehow set off one of its alarms the entire planet could be doomed depending on the most recent set of instructions and information from the Kree homeworld! I need to find it before something irreversible occurs!" Cursing in Kree, Captain Mar-vell exited the cave and tried to think about how he could tract it down. If he was getting no signals then it had to be place in some area that blocked off all signals, which would severely narrow down the search parameters. Even if it was in such an area it was still a powerful piece of Kree technology so he should be able to track it down somehow, his best bet was to make a device that could track down its unique power source which should be detectable no matter what human material tried to block it.

All of humanity could be in danger if he did not retrieve it before it was too late.
Ultimate One Universe: Season Two Application

Character You're Applying For: Carol Danvers a.k.a. Ms Marvel

Powers And Abilities:

Human/Kree physiology: With her genetic makeup changed forever quite a few changes have occurred in her body with a wide variety of effects.

Toxin Immunity: Her Kree biology has made her immune to most forms of toxins and poisons. Only the most exotic and unique of venoms and poisons have any chance at damaging her enhanced cellular structure.

Superhuman Strength/Durability: Her new genetic makeup has enhanced her strength by leaps and bounds. With her power she can roughly lift up the weight of a small space shuttle which is a rather impressive feat. Her new biology greatly strengthened her cellular structure allowing her to tank heavy blows from super powered opponents, as well as a strong resistance to conventional weaponry and the ability to absorb and redirect energy.

Superhuman Stamina: Already in good physical condition from her time in the Air Force, her enhanced body allows her to work for hours straight without a break. This makes long-haul type assignments much more manageable as well easily outlasting most opponents in a fight.

Superhuman Speed/Agility/Reflexes: Her years of service plus her enhanced senses have easily pushed herself to the levels of an Olympian Athlete and this is all without using her power of flight.

Superpowered Flight: The exact method of propulsion is unknown though it is theorized she is manipulating a sort of energy field around her body that is invisible and only affects her unique physiology. While flying she can easily exceed speeds way past the sound barrier and can maneuver as smoothly as a fighter jet through the air. Her top speed is unknown but she has yet to have a need to try and go faster than that.

Seventh-Sense: A unique ability that connects her to the cosmos on a rather mundane level. It basically works was a sort of prediction mechanism that tells her what an opponent is most likely to do; however, it is only a prediction and can therefore be faulty or even useless in snap-decision type moments. Until she can figure out how to effectively make use of it, the sense is better left alone for now.

Energy Absorption: Like a rechargeable battery, Carol Danvers is able to absorb a wide range of energy types which has the effect of supercharging her body. If given enough energy she can reach heights not yet determined. All of her powers can be amplified in this manner and even gives her a few new tricks such as cellular regeneration allowing her to heal from most wounds, and even the ability to molecularize her clothes to change their look and shape.

Photonic Blasts: Perhaps a byproduct of her energy absorption abilities she is able to form and fire photon and stellar energies as powerful blasts. Their power are heavily dependent on how much energy she has absorbed so the more energy you feed her the more powerful the blasts. At normal levels she can easily break apart machinery and so much more.

Military/Pilot Training: She can pilot most aircraft and has the affinity to learn spacecraft rather quickly. Also training in both unarmed and armed combat like every military officer.

Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs):

Carol Danvers was the oldest child in a rather traditional but poor family. Due to monetary constraints her parents could only pay for some of their kids' college tuition and to give some of her brothers a better chance her father decided to skip her despite her good grades. Wanting to go to college but unable to afford it, Carol Danvers decided to join the military to help pave her way and entered the Air Force. She managed to rise to the rank of Colonel before deciding to join NASA.

During her time at NASA while on assignment she met the enigmatic Walter Larson and the two formed a close bond. Later it is revealed to her that he is actually Captain Mar-vell, a spy of the Kree Empire. Devastated by the revelation, Carol was easily tricked and kidnapped by Colonel Yon-Rogg who uses her to plan Mar-vell’s, ultimate demise by luring him into a trap.

Mar-vell, feeling responsible for the abduction, quickly flied right into the trap for the fight of his life. During that battle and some misdirected fire from Yon-Rogg, an explosion occurs which exposed the Kree Psyche-Megatron’s energies to Carol. Due to its strange powers and abilities, along with the exposure to Kree technology and genetic structure, the strange device proceeded to warp and meld Carol’s body with the surrounding Kree, The result gave birth to the new Ms. Marvel.

After gaining her new abilities S.H.I.E.L.D. quickly learned of the alien conspiracy and the creation of the new human/kree hybrid Carol Danvers. Captain Mar-vell managed to keep his involvement as Walter Larson a secret but now S.H.I.E.L.D knew of a Kree operative on earth. Due to the alien involvement in the incident, S.W.O.R.D., the extraterrestrial off-shoot of S.H.I.E.L.D., became involved and spearheaded by Agent Abigail Brand has been keeping an eye on the new Ms. Marvel as well as any more Kree activity.

What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?:

This version of Ms. Marvel thankfully does not have to deal with the split personality from the Psyche-Megatron exposure and has had a fairly stable transition. All the power and changes to her body are still quite new to her so she is still getting a handle on her new situation. Due to the incident that created her she has developed some xenophobic tendencies. Despite this her friendship with Mar-vell, while rocky is salvageable because of his willingness to sacrifice himself and his reputation in the Kree Empire, she has somewhat forgiven him but maintains some distrust of him.

Due to a shaky start and her experience, this version of Ms. Marvel has already been semi-recruited by S.W.O.R.D. who is keeping a close eye on her. Trying to make sense of her new circumstances after essentially being expelled from NASA over the incident, she has only been doing the odd job here and there while she tries to figure herself out.

This Carol is someone who is confused about her current role in the world and the current rapid changes are forcing her to adapt quickly. Her identity as a hero hasn’t been defined yet and so this season more focuses on how she creates her new identity and steps into a strange, alien world.

Supporting Characters:

Captain Mar-vell/Walter Larson: A Kree spy on earth who took the identity of Walter Larson for his mission. Due to his time on Earth and getting to know earthlings, including Carol, he grew to like the planet and its people which has put him at odds with his mission. Due to his alien revelation to Carol, their relationship is rather strained at the moment.

Colonel Yon-Rogg: An aggressive and greedy member of the Kree Navy, he has always been somewhat of a rival to Captain Mar-vell and is always on the lookout for prestige and recognition. Catching wind of Mar-vell’s leaning allegiances, the Colonel took it as an opportunity to rat out a traitor and boost his own rank in the process. His kidnapping of Carol Danvers to lure Mar-vell into his trap was what started everything.

Abigail Brand: An agent of S.W.O.R.D. who has essentially been positioned as Carol’s new handler do to her expertise in aliens, though that expertise is limited of course. It is her duty to keep tabs on the new human/alien hybrid when she is not busy with her other duties, which is most of the time so mostly she just checks in from time to time. Her hair is a natural green which reveals some alien heritage.

Dr. Minn-Erva: A Kree scientist whose specialty is genetic engineering. Dr. Minerva has taken a special interest in Earth due to its unique genetics which has caused such a wide range of abilities to form. As the Kree have reached peek genetic homogeny where is very little genetic variability as a whole, so her aim is to find a way to adapt the human genome as a way to modify Kree genes and improve her race, or at the very least herself.

Joseph Danvers [Father]: Carol’s father, they don’t speak too much and are not on the best of terms. He can be blunt, crass, and downright disagreeable but he does care, though his sons take up more of his heart than Carol.

Salia Petrie: Carol met the red-headed Salia Petrie at Nasa where they started to work on projects together. Not very many women ended up in their section so they naturally started spending more time together than other co-workers. The two have a close bond and often confide in each other, though Carol now finds she is a bit limited in what she can say.
