Unless anyone objects I'll start on my post to get it out tonight. People can still hop in once accepted.
I might leave wave order open to multiple paths. Like you can decide to storm the fortress while there's still a limited amount of head off to intercept other people. I likely won't allow you guys to run into who I want the grand finales at the start though.
Opening posts take so long, but at long last I think I'm just about done! If that's everyone here I might as well just post it once I finish up and we can get started.

EDIT: IC post made.
I posted my first character, Anom! I'm proud of him even though I didn't get a huge amount of time to work on it. Can't hold things up too long but I'll consider him a promising work in progress.
Name: Anom
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Race: Once human. Now his body is artificially created.

Appearance: Almost always seen wearing armor inspired by this without the thorns, skirt, and cape, and minor cosmetic differences. There’s two openings on the sides of both his upper arms, forearms, and calves, as well as one where his heart should be and two where wings would be if he had any. The face can open up as well. These openings look like luminescent whiteness that can be covered up by armor plating. He stands at an intimidating eight feet tall.

Outside of his armor he looks like a humanoid male but with everything made out of the same material as his armor. He can still flex like normal humans, however.

Abilities/Powers

His powers are all granted by his suit and what the suit did to his body.

Physical Abilities- He has enhanced strength and his durability is obviously top notch, having his entire body made out of armor that’s located inside a bulky suit of armor. He can run fast for how bulky he is, at 25 miles per hour tops, but speed is his least impressive stat. He doesn’t seem to run out of stamina normally but if he’s using his special energy (glowing white that can be seen within the holes) a lot then he could become sluggish over time. His suit may even shut down, then he could lose consciousness himself if he keeps loosing energy.

His senses seem fake to him. Sure he can recognize things, able to tell the difference between tea and coffee, but it’s definitely a muted and hollow feeling. He can’t tell subtle changes in texture, smell, flavor, but he can see at 20/20 (with a dull color tone) and can hear normal volumes, albeit echo-y sounding. He doesn’t feel pain but his sense of touch can reveal if something is attacking him really hard.

He doesn’t need to eat or breath to sustain his life but he does to regain energy.

Absorption- His armor can absorb things and break it down as long as it’s not super durable, in which case he might have to spit it back out but he seldom has this problem. Usually he can absorb almost anything given enough time within the gaping hole in his face. It behaves kind of like a black hole, able to stretch and pull in objects that get close enough to it, although things can escape with enough force and are not harmed by the stretching, only harmed if they were being absorbed as if in acid.

Despite saying he can get energy by absolving this way, tough things actually cost him quite a bit of energy so he might drain himself trying to take in something as large as a jet liner or a superpowered object. Basically, it’s by no means efficient enough to pull off as a primary attack. Even while eating he prefers liquids but of course can eat normally, just not gaining as much energy.

Once something is absorbed he can copy it (see more information in power below). For most non-biological objects he’d have to take pretty much it all in to get a good enough picture to copy, but for living beings with, say, DNA, absorbing just some DNA would give him enough of a blueprint to be able to copy.

Object Copy- The holes in his armor can spring forth things that his armor has absorbed through it’s mouth like a reverse of his absorbing, stretching out of the holes as glowing white energy swirls around it. Whatever comes out retains the shape but looks as if made from the same material as his armor. Like his own body's armor skin they can retain flexibility if that was a quality the object possessed. Most other qualities are unable to be carried over. He cannot create life. If he copies a cat, what comes out is merely an imitation.

He can send out copies of things as large as a broadsword within three seconds with the exact amount of time scaled based on size. However, he can never seem to get faster than half a second for things even as small as a bug. The largest copy he has produced is around elephant sized.

He can also send out globs of goop (still looking like his armor) out of the holes. This can provide extra defense or swallow people up like super thick molasses. This sort of ignores how he can’t copy an object under half a second because he can continually have this stuff flood out, but it’s not super fast either.

Things he copies can retain their shape as long as he wills it, but leave his relative proximity and they melt into nothingness. He can keep them active around the length of three football stadiums.

Control- He can control his suit of armor and things he produces as if telekinetic. He has good enough control to float around six weapons in the air and wield them as if a halfway decent fighter while still keeping track of himself, but this is where things begin to strain him. He can move things as fast as an arrow if he builds up momentum for it.

Soul Transfer- His soul can inhabit copies as if his own body. This tires him out if used repeatedly and his body can no longer move while doing so.

Equipment

His armor, obviously, and the things he can copy. He has plenty of different types of weapons already absorbed so can be copied. He has other practical objects absorbed as well.

Backstory

He was once a normal human adventurer when he came across a dormant suit of armor. The armor must have somehow sensed him and opened up it’s mouth, absorbing not only his body but also his soul! This allowed a copy of himself to be created that his soul was transferred into. The armor is considered no more alive than a virus, and is thus not evil for killing his original body and absorbing his soul to boot. He considers the armor a dangerous, uncaring thing that he needs to keep in check by wearing it so someone else might not stumble across it and be absorbed like he was.

Why not get rid of it where nobody could find it? He was stuck in the suit for over a year before he managed to gain enough control to take it off, and by that point he realized he could put it to good use just so long as he’s careful. The armor has made no attempt to absorb someone else as long as he’s in it, and that’s good enough for him.
An odd assortment of characters was slowly flickering into existence through swirling portals of energy scattered throughout the lush planet. For many it was a first time meeting one another as they observed not only each other but also their surroundings in an effort to get their bearings. It was a lot of information to process all at once, being heroes taken from their own world sent to fight with those from other worlds against a super villain known as Big Bad. Some of them were more cautious in their approach than others who were quick to rush over to any random newcomer in order to start enthusiastically explaining whatever plans they might have for the upcoming attack. Some didn’t discuss plans at all, but rather decided now would be a good time for small talk about how beautiful this planet was or something on that order.

It was clear that this was not yet a unified team. However, many of them did manage to agree upon grouping up at a nearby abandoned fortress in order to discuss how things should proceed from here. Unfortunately not all of the portals were exactly nearby. Some flickered barely within sight and possibly further beyond it. It was a seemingly minor hitch to the plan, but they were still pretty precise for teleporting multiple people from multiple points of origin to a single location.

What they didn’t know is that one of the portals happened to flicker up just far enough away so that….

“Hmm?” Big Bad muttered, opening his eyes from his near trance-like state. Had he sensed magical energy being cast just on the outskirts of his vision? He looked out of the open window of his palace. For just the briefest of moments he swore he could make out a portal closing up from within a far off rock formation. Could it be he was found out? He had little evidence to go by but the situation was far too dire to ignore. He felt something big was about to go down deep in his gut. He needed help…and fast. With an unusual pep in his step he raised himself from his chair and, moving so fast some would swear he teleported, vacated himself from the room.

Back at the abandoned fortress, a tall man concealed from head to toe in extravagant turquoise armor was one of the first to make it to the grounds just outside the gate. Taking a firm stance, he placed himself in front of it as if a statue, not budging as fellow heroes strolled up to him.

“Dude, you’re coming inside or what?” One of them questioned.

“Negative,” the armored man said. “I shall keep a lookout here in case some foul villain appears. Once everyone has arrived I shall join you in consultation.”

“Riiiiight, you do that,” The other replied, pondering about just who this guy was. Sure was something. With that the group that had been following him proceeded through the gate to check out the fortress.
The multiverse has connected a wide variety of different worlds together. Although relatively peaceful for some time, a recent crime wave has sprung up across multiple planets in attacks that could all be traced back to a mysterious entity known as Big Bad, drawing much attention from the hero community. Saying enough is enough, from these various planets they have put together a team of 100 individuals, plus some additional cohorts, to track him down and eliminate him. Even some villains decided to aid them in this quest.

Unfortunately for their efforts, Big Bad learned of this at the last moment and was able to hastily assemble a small team either through money (of which he had plenty) or other incentives to launch a surprise attack before the heroes could band together entirely and become unstoppable for even someone of his strength. It would be the most difficult gauntlet those under his hire would likely ever face, but if they played their cards right they just might become the stuff of legend.

And so they have stealthily made it to the planet of Oreih where the Heroes of 100 are currently assembling. They see the immense ruins of a stone palace assumed to be their base of operations and a large man concealed from head to toe in bluish green armor standing proudly in front of it. If they wanted to defeat the heroes, looks like they’d have to go through him first. And if the others were anything like he was, they would sure be for in for one heck of a fight…

Welcome to Guild Versus The Heroes of 100!

If you’re reading this, you’ve been invited by Big Bad to take on 100 of my characters with the aid of other members of the roleplayer guild. I have created numerous heroes over the years that I never have gotten to use, so what better way than to use them all at once! This battle will mostly be for fun factor rather than us try hards critically judging our characters down to the exact pounds they could lift. Of course we should still try to stay realistic to what they could do and have some competitive nature to make this a challenge for you guys, but for the most part it will be more casual. We don’t need judges to determine outcomes. If something debatable occurs then I’ll likely allow it to pass in your favor due to you being the underdogs here and could use all the luck you can get.

Max power level will be taking out a small city with multiple attacks, although my characters, being the boss you guys team up to face, are exempt, hence the extra leeway given to you. It’s possible we could have you guys end up loosing in the end if you can’t overcome all my characters. However, everyone can come in with more than one character and bring in more over time as long as they don’t overdo it.

Your characters should reasonably be seen as willing to team up with the bad guys, so no super heroic knight characters rushing in to defeat the heroes for no reason. Other than this and the power level mentioned, a wide variety of characters are welcome. I for one will be using dragons, knights, gunfighters, magical girls, and all manner of things.

Attacks will come in waves that make sense thematically as well as single character boss fights who might be especially tough or op, requiring a team effort to bring down. As I’m not trying to simply crush everyone I’ll always try to leave exploitable weakness in either their personality or abilities. I mention other cohorts in addition to 100 characters, and these are generic cannon fodder type people who help out the heroes. Some might develop into actual characters if they stand out, but for the time being they are not.

Character sheets can be as detailed as you desire. I for one might not have time to post fully detailed sheets for 100 characters without causing you guys to wait weeks between each wave, but we should do our best to include all relevant information. Don’t suddenly spring out random powers just because they’d be convenient for the exact situation unless we agree that it could be epic. Basically, just don’t push the limit too often and we’ll be fine developing some aspects of the characters as we go.

The battle will take place in turns. I go first then you guys can decide a turn order or just post whenever, just so long as you each only post once every turn, allowing everyone to get their turn. Don’t disappear for a week without warning or else I can get a free action against your character, skipping your turn. If enough people complain about how long you’re taking I can choose to take a free action sooner. It likely won’t kill you unless it’s unavoidable due to what you are not responding too. If you are still gone the next week it will be fatal.

That just about settles it. Anyone who’s been in the arena for any length of time knows about all the other rules such as no god modding and how to fight, but if you don’t know then feel free to ask away. Without further adieu, let the games begin!!! (P.S. But not this actual moment. It’s late so I don’t have time for the IC until tomorrow. Lol)

Okay, so I won't be able to post it until after work today, but being late as allowed me to solve some issues and make massive improvements to his character. I want a good and memorable opening boss for sure. I may want to use him again after this if I have a lot of fun using him.

And yes, he could make non sentient clone armies of your cat armies, pollen, but he doesn't specialize in create a bunch of objects at a time and will likely not bother create a cat army unless the battle proceeds in a way it would be useful.

P.s. Don't know why my phone is auto correctly everything to be in the wrong tense, but whatever.
I figured out the character I shall use for the opening boss. He wears a fantastical suit of armor inspired by this:

He can absorb things into a spot on his armor and it disolves into it, able to be regenerated into as many copies as his suit has energy for. They pop out of slots in the arm/legs for the most part, so if he has a sword copied they would stick out handle first and he could grab a hold of them physically or he can telekinetically control things of his creation. They look the same material as his armor and don't gain powers his armor doesn't have so if he absorbs excaliber it wouldn't be exactly like the sword of legend.

However, I think it might be good if he can somehow not destroy the original copy so he can make nonsentient clones of things such as cats. This is up for consideration. It's getting late so I'll have to finalize my ideas tomorrow. Could be fun if his soul can enter said creations so he can scout around as a cat that looks like it's in full body armor. XD To absorb and not be fatal, able to pop things out again, would open up a lot of handy implications rather than simply allowing him to maintain morals to copy living things.
