"That was convenient. Thank you, foreign doctor lady." Al smiled.

"Anyways, this is my fault, so I'm gonna do this doctor many alco-Oh! She meant buy her a drink." he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with sudden realization. "...Just a moment."

The swordsman turned around, and discretely opened up his wallet, to discover a moderate supply of coin. At this tavern, it could cover a nice meal, but not much more. He peeked over his shoulder.

Surely a girl this size couldn't have that big an appetite.

"Miss, let me buy you the drinks." he smiled, tying his wallet back onto his belt.
So, Shisa left a character a few pages back you never got back on.
It's also a poor setup for taking a character with you if they managed to break their arm the first time you meet them in an arm wrestle. Or taking someone that apparently forgets their strength like that. >_>;

If I saw someone who was able to swing an adult human around like a flail, and another who was able to stand, let alone talk and move around after a broken arm and a bodyslam, I'd say they were both pretty good for adventuring.
Is a broken arm even that serious when there's a white mage right there?
I mean, no matter what Vita says, it'll be bad for her.

If she discloses the problems (and if they're caused by a few people), then she is effectively not Fonz-level cool by calling out someone where everyone can see.

If she doesn't disclose what happened, then the person who caused the problem (if there was any) won't be shamed in public, but you want to know exactly who (or what) caused the problems.

What if what caused the problems were extremely personal?

I'd say that you aren't being respectful to another person by pestering them even when they said they wouldn't disclose what happen.

I can't think of any personal, real life issues that would make a person remove some portion of their players.

Moreover, it's not about looking good here; Vita already lost any chance to look good with the decision to relaunch as a private game. Right now it's about a lack of respect for her fellow players. If you get punished, you at least deserve to know why.
I don't want to disclose it because I feel like it would just make people angry or angrier at one another if I did. I don't like doing this at all but with how things have gone behind the scenes the only way this will get anywhere is if I do this.

The way you keep phrasing things, with "Behind the scenes" and such sounds like some secret circle stuff, doubly so if you're worried about players getting mad at you.

Allow me to put forward my hypothesis: You, or some friend of yours, got personally angry at how another player was acting (We'll find out who specifically because said players shan't receive invitations to the next game.)
Rather than acting like rational adults and talking over your problems with said players, you opted for the least confrontational route of relaunching the game and quietly excluding said players, in the hopes that they'll get tired of waiting for an invitation and wander off.

You can't give your players the respect of being up front about your feelings or even whether they'll get to come to the secret new game, and that says a lot about you.
What were the other circumstances then?

If you're going to cut out a chunk of your playerbase, we at least deserve to know why.
I speak pretty fluent legal-ese, and I have to say that keeping any dislikes on a player's personal behavior to yourself is pretty bad to do in general. If you don't get that out in the open, the negative behavior is liable to continue in the future, and ultimately you prohibit the player/GM in question from growing.
So basically you didn't like the way some players were behaving but don't feel like talking it over with them?
"A-aww. That looks like it stings. I'm sorry, Miss; I think I overdid it." Al frowned, grabbing the knight's good hand to help her to her feet.
"I'll get back to you on the job offer in a minute." Al said to the paladin.
"And as for you, Miss, you should at least let me get you to a doctor. This is kinda my fault, after all." he said, scratching the back of his head.
