Everything you write should be like someone reading your things. It should be terrifying and incredibly embarrassing.

Will be posting when I wake up. It's an absolute, 100% thing, because I'm at my parent's place and I hardly get my daughter when I'm here xD I'll have the time to post.
I Know I Said 'Yes', But..

It was freshman year
Damn near the end of it
It was practically summer
I wasn't used to this kind of thing
Attention from a boy
Girls like me just didn't get that
So when I had yours
I was a little too eager
I snuck you into my room
Right underneath my grandmas nose
We shut the door
And left our clothes on the floor
You wouldn't have known it
But I wasn't really wanting that
My mind set me into autopilot
I did things I didnt want to
Yeah, I may have said "yes"
When you asked me if I wanted it
If I wanted you
But the truth is what I wanted to say
Was "yes, I want it to stop"
But all I said was "yes"
And that was all you heard
Not the shaky tone of my voice
You didnt see how my eyes never met yours
The only thing you could think about
Was the moment we were in
And how much YOU wanted it
After you left and we had finished
I sat there on the edge of my bed
Feeling more naked then than I had before
I felt dirty
So I went to go shower
But no matter how hard I scrubbed
The filth wasn't coming off.
I'm brain-farting Taylor's part of my post.. I'll write her in on my next post >~<

Declan kept going through the mine, his grip on Finley's hand growing weaker and weaker the further along they got. As well as the light from outside beginning to fade from view. It was growing darker, and Declan's phone light was hardly strong enough to show any real detail of their surroundings. Dec's breathing was getting increasingly ragged, almost like he was having an asthma attack. He grit his teeth, thinking over and over in his head, 'Come on, come on, come on, come on..' After letting out a hoarse cough, Declan yelled out Jenna's name which seemed to echo through the entire mine. The yelling proved to be a bit much for the state he was in, curling him in on himself as he coughed again, this time with a bit of blood but he was quick to hide it from Finley's view.

It was at the same moment he coughed that he caught himself from falling, his hands pushed firmly into the ground. Bare, touching silver. Declan cried out with a curse, baring his teeth down at his hands as he stumbled to try standing, turning his hands over to see the burns. "Son of a bitch," he muttered under his breath. It wasn't till then that Dec realized Finley had been helping him to his feet and his arm was around her shoulders holding on like his life depended on it. Had it been light enough in the tunnel, she'd have seen how bright red his face was with embarrassment. He shook his head and scrunched his eyes together hard, feeling like his head was gonna explode from the migraine forming.

"Gotta be catching some sort of cold... y-you know what they say, men turn into big babies when they get sick." he laughed but it soon turned into another wracking cough. "As for the burns on my hands, I think there's something on the ground. I doubt its the silver causing this." Declan didn't know how else to be rid of her question, but he hoped it would work.
@Nallore no worries ^^

"I'll always have your back, we just stick together when we get into that arena, we will get out of that arena together and we will stay together forever in Twelve."

Kolton's heart sank at her words. As much as he wanted to play along in that sort of fantasy, he knew it'd never happen. There wasn't a record of two winners in the games in the 173 past years the games had been running. Not one. There was only ever one winner. One victor. It would be her, this year. And if by some chance Kolton wasn't able to save her, he felt it was his job to be the one to win it. For her, in her memory. Suddenly Kolton was thinking of the other tributes. Once they got to their rooms, later, Kolton would make it a point to look up who their fellow tributes were. Weed out the competition to see who was a threat and who were easy targets. Potential allies, and known enemies. Districts one and two would definitely be the latter.

As they traveled with their stylists, Silver began to talk about what their garb would be for the presentation of the tributes. Where they'd be shown off like they were items in an auction ready to be bought. Which, in a sense, they were. People would bet on their favored tributes with their friends and such, hoping they'd win it big in the end. It took Kolton a minute before he remembered Silver had asked about the potential costume they'd be forced to wear. He'd gotten lost in thought about sponsors and all the things that came with their new positions in this whole game. He chuckled nervously, shrugging his shoulder. "Whatever coal-inspired crap they're gonna have us wear, I'm pretty sure we're gonna be the stars of the show. I can guarantee we're the most gorgeous people to come out of the districts, wouldn't you say?" Kolton laughed and looked up to see someone approaching them, leaning a bit closer to Silver to mumble, "I'd assume that's the main stylist..?"/

While Olivia and Josh talked, Taylor wandered off with Sadie on her own train of thought, watching the treeline as she took her shoes and socks off. She rolled up her pant legs and walked through the shallow waters of the lake up to her mid-calves. If it wasn't for the awful smell, this would actually be kind of nice. While Taylor was busy dazing off in her imaginings, Sadie came charging up at her, then running right around her feet. All the while, splashing the crap out of Taylor who squeals from the shock of the cold water on her face.

"SADIE! Ugh." She stuffs her socks into her shoes and throws them up onto the shore, running after her dog. "Come here, Sadie. Sadie!" laughing to herself, she kicks water at the terrier and stops, halfway bent down, eyeing her dog who was now turned around facing her. Sadie lowered her head as if to mimic Taylor's own stance, making them look like they were in an old western stand-off. Taylor pretend-lunges at Sadie and the dog huffs as she advances a little, tail wagging slightly from side to side.

"Come on, Sadie-dog. Make your move." Sadie tilts her head, tongue lolling out of her mouth, but she doesn't make a move. Taylor shakes her head and smirks, talking low but knowing Sadie can hear her just fine. "I'm gonna count to three. Kay?" Sadie's eyes grow wider, tail beginning to wag a little faster. Taylor giggles, counting down slowly. "Onnnnne. Twooooooo.." Taylor fake-lunges again and yells, "Five!" Sadie holds her ground, staring intently at her person. Taylor nods. "Nice, nice......... THREE!" Sadie charges at Taylor but as soon as she gets a couple feet away she pivots and runs the opposite direction, running right for Clifford and Olivia kicking up dirt and sand as she goes. Sadie runs right between them, nearly knocking into Clifford as she tears around Olivia and runs back towards the water but still avoiding going near Taylor.

Declan could hear Finley's footsteps behind him and he mentally groaned, thinking to himself, 'Why can't girls just listen?!' He shook his head and sighed heavily, pulling out his phone to use as a light. It didn't help much, but it was better than trying to wander about the mine in the dark. Declan grit his teeth firmly, every muscle in his body felt like it was on fire. If he wasn't paying attention to his grip, he could have smashed his phone right in his hand with how hard bad it was hurting him right now. He stopped long enough to reach back in the dark to find Finley's hand, grasping it as he continued to walk further into the mine with his phone stretched out in front of them.

"Can't take you anywhere," he said in a light tone. Part of him really wished she'd stayed outside, but the other half was glad she was so damn stubborn and didn't listen to him. What if something happened to him? He wasn't too sure what would happen. He hadn't been exposed to silver like this and wasn't aware just what kind of effects might take place.
