2) No matter how much I may love the source material, I will not join an RP if the Interest Check, IC, or OOC has too many posts. I am not reading all of that. If you want me to join, PM me a summary.
3) I won't even read source material in the Interest Check or OOC sections if the IP is, like, super convoluted, long, or snobbishly formatted. Keep that shit IC. Give me clear and concise posts or I'm gone. I dont have all day to sort through your five different fonts and your 17 paragraphs of setup.

@Bishop no your body still shines like everyone else. the only difference is that you can create darkness.
So basically, there was nothing but chaos and darkness. The WorldWeaver took a part of himself, his light, to make Ora. But he wanted another son and for Ora to have a brother, so he made Rakk out of the darkness, but put some of Ora's light in him. Which is why Rakk doesnt feel empathy toward his father, but loves his brother very much,
So you still shine, but when you create or manipulate darkness, its kinda like the 0th post in OOC: WW is shining, but you (the character) look behind him to see darkness, because they are in the middle of a chaotic void of nothing. So when doing things with darkness, Rakk will have to take into account that, at least to some extent, its going to have to be done at a distance, otherwise his light would vanquish it.
unless he turned evil eventually; and then once he sufficiently lost his glow, the darkness would be closer to him.
and good and evil will be another thing we will discuss, since at this moment, there is no concept of it yet.

Not allergic, there just isnt any reason for us to kill a relatively innocent creature to sustain ourselves. However, lets say that we visited a human family and they served us an animal that they'd hunted and cooked; eating it would not do anything to us, good or bad. However, if an Archon killed an ate an animal (without reason since they dont need food), it would be reflected in their bodily light dimming. It would be like if you or I or any other human ate something that was normally considered inedible: it may not adversely affect us, but why eat it? lol
also there is going to be a reputation system.

Tim noticed the angel-looking girl's beautiful red hair before her wings. He forced himself to focus and inhaled deeply as he felt her pain almost before she did. He collected himself and slowly began making his way toward her. He noticed the other girl doing the same and was immediately accosted by a translucent figure asking if he could see or hear them.
Tim shook his head. It was true, he couldn't hear him, and he could only see a faint outline of the man because he could feel his emotions, and so Tim's mind worked to manufacture the most likely appearance of the projected individual.
He muttered, "I can feel you." He then looked over at the unconscious version of the Marine, before back to the projection. "You need to find an emotional equilibrium and you should snap back into your body."
Moving through the astral version of the Marine, Tim stood behind the winged woman, out of sight of both girls. He raised his hand slightly, not enough to draw attention and began to absorb some more of her pain, easing it a little, enough for her to be able to speak. He also projected an aura of warmth around everyone present, so that it would be easier for them to converse without becoming overly antisocial or distrustful.

yeah i always confuse skills, abilities, attributes, etc. which is one reason why i dont handle that stuff. my memory is bad, thanks to the Army
