Nah, she's cool. Anyone who enjoys the taste and feel of packages make great friends, honestly.

Poop.
Boy Saiyaka is a real poop isn't she?
Yume

It was obvious that Saiyaka was enjoying this conversation far more than Yume was. Painfully obvious. Yume didn't call her here to talk about her personal life. She claimed to have no boundaries or limits when it came to pushing others for information, and that was just what made her her. It was a petty excuse, but she could deal with it later. Yume wanted to move on badly.

"S-Saiyaka-san!" Yume exclaimed, amazed at how far the tokujo dared to overstep where she lay. "I-I would never!" Just the thought of Tsubasa and her disgusted the Kazekage and Yume had half a mind to shove a few senbon in that inappropriate mouth of hers. She tried to block out all the painful words that spilled out of the older woman, desperate not to ruin her fatherly image of Tsubasa. The two were practically related. She was lucky that Saiyaka had stopped herself from continuing onto the next topic, Yume really didn't care to know - nor did she want to. She carried on babbling away about nonsensical things that bore no relevance to the conversation but it was better than talking about other certain things. Anything was, really.

There was a clear change in attitude when Daisuke's name was mentioned, it was apparent. "Saiyaka-san, you do not understand. What happens to Daisuke is out of my control. It was not my decision to send him to Konoha!" Yume was becoming impatient. Saiyaka didn't seem to understand that the Kages had no say in the matter. Disallowing the jinchūriki to be sent to Konoha was practically rebelling against the Republic. The General had more political power than the Kages. They were merely second-hand. But stopping the one-tailed vessel was a suicide mission. Sending him to the Leaf was a suicide mission too, but that was inevitable.

Yume couldn't breathe. The tokujo's overwhelming chest was suffocating her. Saiyaka had the jump on the Kazekage, altering personalities as if the previous conversation had never taken place. It did Yume's head in. She felt her legs going numb, strangely, but she was determined to get out of the situation. The younger kunoichi felt a tinge of regret as she struggled to squeeze out of Saiyaka's tight grip, feeling fainter and weaker by the second. She pushed at the woman's shoulders, twisting and turning until at last she broke free. Yume stood on the opposite side of her office, panting and resettling her hat. She brushed off her clothes and straightened up, acknowledging the fact that this would be one long-ass journey.

Aiko

Aiko felt silly, standing at the door, waiting for Ria. When the Uchiha swung the door open and grabbed her hand without warning, Aiko nearly swung her fist straight into the jōnin's face. She was wearing more appropriate clothes today but was just as random and hasty as usual. Red camellia flowers floating around daintily in the sky, presumably a variation of Ria's teleportation ninjutsu. Finally, she was going to get some work done.
Yume

"He is not my... boyfriend, Saiyaka-san," Yume flushed, a little embarrassed that her relationship between Tsubasa could be viewed as such. "In fact, Saiyaka-san, it is not your place to make such a comment but I will forgive you, because I am in a mood to forgive. Tsubasa is nothing more than my caretaker, and how dare you make accusations that he is anything more." The Kazekage refused to turn to face the ex-ANBU, afraid of the hefty comments she would cop if she did. "Besides," she murmured, staring at the ground, "He's a little old, don't you think?" Saiyaka's personality was almost sickening, sweeter than honey itself.

The blood that had risen to her face had simmered down to an acceptable shade, rather than a deep red so she swivelled on her feet and looked at he tokujo, listening as she made her assumptions. "Of course I was aware of Daisuke's leave, but it is not in my power to stop him. Even I cannot overrule the voice of the Republic. I do not doubt Daisuke, and at the same time, I understand and share your concerns of your students. But Saiyaka-san, you must know that sending reinforcements or bodyguards to protect him will only heighten the danger he is already in."

Saiyaka was uncomfortably close, so close that Yume could almost feel her persona emanating from where she stood. "Saiyaka-san, I summoned you here to request your accompaniment to the Gokage Summit. I trust in your abilities and would appreciate the company; it's a long way there." Yume smiled and adjusted her hat so that the symbol faced centre-on.

Aiko

Aiko had arrived at Uchiha Ria's house and began knocking impatiently on the door. Just a minute ago she saw the aftermath of a particular fireball, one that was without a doubt Kota's, meaning he had already gotten the early start. "Ria-sama! Ria-sama are you home? I need your help!" It had only been about a minute since she had stepped in front of the door yet Aiko acted as though she had been waiting for hours. She had been knocking so hard that her knuckles were a little white, but she needed to get started, now.
Well

Ugh

Well whatever

Tuu, at first I thought your character was asking that guy if he ate "pan-seared children with lime". :3

Oh that's my favourite.
Yume wants Saiyaka, pronto.
Aiko

Aiko had absolutely no recollection of the night's events or the amount of ramen she ate, but the instant ramen cups littered everywhere on her floor spoke for themselves. She stretched and contorted her body which was stiff and tense, cracking a few bones along the way. She tumbled into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of milk, tempted to splash it over her face to wake herself up. Her search for Uchiha Ria was rudely interrupted yesterday by the Hokage although she did see the Uchiha kunoichi, but had no chance to speak with her. Thus, Aiko would try her hand and searching today.

Yume

"The wind blows eastward," Yume murmured, tilting the hat that identified her as the Kazekage so she could get a better view of her village. The dust and sand swirled through the quiet and empty streets, the breeze howling and rustling the birds that perched themselves on the roofs. They cawed and screeched, snapping away at ground-dwelling insects that had become uncovered. Just a moment ago, Yume had received news that a Kage meeting was being arranged at the Gokage Summit via hawk messenger.

It was that time. The time to either welcome Konoha to the Republic alliance, or make the first move on the rebellious village. At one point, Suna and Konoha had been close. Now the two were divided.

The early morning sun cast rays of light down on the village, the sky glowing in incredible hues of pinks and oranges. "The sky is truly beautiful at this time, wouldn't you agree, Tsubasa-kun?" Yume asked, pressing her fingertips against the warm glass of the window. In the doorway stood a man roughly twenty years of age equipped in traditional jōnin attire with a slight stubble growing on his chin.

"Your father sent me to check on you, Yume-sama," Tsubasa replied, bowing his head. The Kazekage's mouth curled into a hint of a smile as she turned to face the jōnin, rubbing her index finger and her thumb together.

"Did you know of how much the sand manifests in this very room? It seems to be everywhere. Just by pinching the air you end up with tiny granules of the stuff in your hand," Yume mumbled, gesturing a pinching motion here and there. Tsubasa stared at her lovingly, but in a more fatherly manner rather than the alternative. The shinobi had been watching over her since she was a day old, admiring her grow up and progress as a ninja.

"Yume-sama..." he whispered, picking off loose threads on his vest.

"Tell father I'm fine, Tsubasa-kun. Anything else and he might get a heart attack," Yume replied, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around the older man's shoulders, feeling him do the same. She missed Tsubasa's hugs. They made her feel safe, as if she had reverted back to being a small, helpless child again. Nothing or no one else could replicate that feeling, not even her own father - who had tried particularly hard today. The two broke contact and Yume sent Tsubasa on his way.

She needed someone to accompany her on her journey to the Summit, someone capable of defending themselves in case things got messy. Yume didn't want to feel lonely after all. Sendeiyoshi Saiyaka was the first name that came to mind; she was reliable and an extremely good ex-ANBU, her expertise in ninjutsu and sealing were almost unparalleled. Yume gave a jōnin the task of finding her and relaying the message "the Kazekage wishes for your attendance at her office". All that was left to do was wait for the kunoichi, then they could leave for the Summit.
Thanks.

Can someone tell me who's in Suna now?
It's literally on the previous page but okay.
