Yume

For once Yume found the humour in Saiyaka's corny jokes. She couldn't help but let out a playful giggle from behind her woollen scarf at the sound of the tokujo's pun. "I think I'll stick to Saiyaka-san, thank you. Besides, we hardly know eachother." Yume leant back on her hand and stood up, sinking into to the snow a little. The Kazekage hated the snow just as much as Saiyaka claimed to. It made odd crunching noises when stepped on and each step sunk Yume's boots at least a couple feet. It made such a simple task such as walking far more tiresome than it needed to be. "Oh please Saiyaka-san, I'm not that heavy. Far lighter than you," Yume snapped as they continued to walk towards the entrance. "Besides, I can't imagine myself trying to carry someone like you! I'd probably be crushed picking up a person with your... figure." Yume was certain that Saiyaka knew what she was getting at.

It had taken this entire trip for Yume to finally warm up to Saiyaka - for her to accept the older woman's occasionally inappropriate jokes and stories. And to ignore her bone-chilling comments on Tsubasa.

Yume presumed that the General intended on initiating war on Konoha. But Yume herself was aware of Konoha and Suna's ally relationship in the past, so she had no intentions of being a part of an attack on the Leaf. If that meant rebelling against the Republic then so be it. Yume knew that the Hokage was a good man and had good intentions. Maybe there was something off about the Republic that Yume's inexperienced eyes were blinded to. She was certain that passing through these doors would reveal the answers they were all looking for.

Aiko

Aiko listened carefully to Ria's selected words, acknowledging the fact that she had gotten the order all wrong. She was right, taijutsu was the primary foundation of everything. Whether it applied to melee combat or performing ninjutsu, it was in there somewhere. Aiko was determined. She was more determined than she had ever been before. The pain in her legs, her arms, her back was irrelevant. By the time Ria was finished with her, she would be the best kunoichi in the village no matter how long it took.

The redhead watched the clone place the delicate fan on the ground at her feet. Aiko picked it up and examined it tenderly, feeling it's ridges and edges. It was sharp and heavier than expected, the sunlight reflecting off the unfolded surface. It's detail was incomprehensible, tiny shapes and characters carved into every area available. "Thank you, Ria-sensei," Aiko whispered, sliding it into her belt with care.

~5 Kage Summit~

"Well, yes, that is possible. The option has, of course, crossed my mind but that's not to say it's a good one," Yume had considered rebelling, like presumably most other Kages had too. Was it worth the risk for her entire village that standing alone had? Would the other Kages follow and step away from the Republic? It was hard to say. Yume was never much of a politician but as Kazekage, she had to be. She rubbed her fingers together, contemplating whether rebelling truly was a good idea. Saiyaka was twisted and had a mouth on her, but she had far more life experience than Yume. Was she really kidding? Something so serious batted away so easily would not work as well.

She took the idea of rebellion with her to the Summit - a long and tiresome journey. Saiyaka certainly didn't lie when she mentioned telling Yume a vast amount of stories, which she had no choice but to bear through. Her ears were sore, to say the least. But they were at the Gokage Summit and the snow fell as peacefully as snow could fall. "Hey Saiyaka-san," Yume mumbled, collapsing to the ground. "Can you carry me in?" She finished jokingly, a childish grin spread wide on her face.

Aiko

Ria clearly had something going on in her head after Aiko watched her perform a series of quick and precise movements in awe, the stances replicating dance. "KenTai ninjutsu?" What a name, Aiko thought aloud, realising that although Ria was an expert in what she did, she was still good old Ria. "I don't even have a weapon other than my kunai. I can't do anything other than ninjutsu and my hand-to-hand combat is... less than impressive," the redhead admitted, twiddling her thumbs and digging her left toe into the ground. "At least I can touch my feet," Aiko laughed, leaning down to the floor, keeping her knees locked together.

Aiko

"The splits?!" Aiko yelled at Ria, who was on the floor in a perfect split. "What the hell do the splits have to do with being 'one with the wind'?" She exaggerated on 'one with the wind', shaking her head and hands in a frantic motion. Ria was really crazy. I little too crazy. But if she wanted to get some training done, Aiko had no choice but to oblige. Or at least try to. The redhead was slightly flexible, but no where near as flexible as her sensei. She nearly got to the ground, but not quite. It was good enough. Aiko tried imagining a scenario in which she needed to use the splits to fend off an attacker but failed. It was silly. She looked silly. Ria looked silly. At least they looked silly together. Aiko rolled onto her back and sat up, awaiting her next instructions from the inane Uchiha.
