Eve - Grand Magic Games

Eve continued to latch onto Nero for support as he started to say something about think happy thoughts and she honestly wanted to do that for the way she was feeling. The Necromancer could never say that she never tried at staying happy before something bad might happen, and she closed her eyes trying to think happy thoughts. However, Eve was met with the same problem as before with her smile as something seemed to be blocking or restricting her from trying to feel happy. All she could see was darkness as her eyes were closed... She could barely feel anything at this point as her mind was receding to the nothingness. To be honest, Eve actually felt pretty nice as the world around her fell into darkness. She didn't need to worry about anything anymore, she would just finally get a break... a rest from her endless torment. As she was about to finally let go of her defenses to the sorrow in herself, the tips of her mouth twitched barley into an actual smile.

However, now was not the time to lose herself inside the eternal damnation that she had brought upon herself. Her mind, her body suddenly jolted as something gripped at the very source of her sadness. Inside of her body, it screamed in agony as it was slowly being pulled out of Eve's very soul. A mind bending scream echoed through her conscious as it suddenly found itself solidifying, the misery found itself being trapped within its very being. It reached out into Eve's mind, trying one last attempt to stay within the body it had been trying to claim for so long, but the agony soon found itself almost grabbing Eve's reeling mind before it was completely taken out of the Necromancer's system.

This sort of action did well to awake the Necromancer from her near eternal slumber. Her entire being felt out-of-place, an entire emotion and big part of herself was suddenly missing. Eve's mind was out of control, trying to find something to fill in the giant gap within herself. Eve's entire body was also panicking as there was nothing controlling her mind anymore. The faked happiness was now without no equal and soon found itself rampant in her mind as the faked happiness was trying to control everything. Eve soon found herself to be spiraling out of control as her consciousness was trying to do something to fix all the problems at once. The Necromancer's body started to stiffen and her mind would soon follow suit, however, something stopped all of the madness within herself.

It was a realization. A basic idea that everyone has within themselves even when they are born... Eve realized that she was in control. There was no longer any bullshit of having two crazy sided emotions controlling her any longer, it was just her thinking and acting by her own thoughts like any other person. This basic realization hit Eve like a brick wall as her eyes fluttered open. For the first time in her long life from becoming a Necromancer... Evelynn 'Eve' Nyx was in full control of her mind.

Now, Eve didn't have any words to explain this feeling. Literally, she was in so much shock from everything that had happened, she couldn't form words from her mouth. Her eyes were merely just wide open as she was finally letting this idea of being herself sick deeper and deeper into her mind. It was only until she felt something hug her. Eve's eyes glanced up to find Nero hugging her. She had forgotten about him through all this confusion even though he was the one that sparked this whole reaction. Soon, another brick wall hit her. It was not made of reasoning and logic, but it was made up of strong emotions as it slammed right into her. It was Nero that finally freed her and it was him that saved her and soon embraced her inside of a hug. Suddenly, Eve soon found herself reacting in such a way she had never seen before, she was crying in happiness. This entire response was new, as it combined her reaction when she would usually be sad, but she was extremely happy. Eve just felt weird combining the two.

So, with the tears slowly streaming down her face and still not actually able to speak out her feelings like she had done earlier, Eve would try to do the next best thing that her rigid body could muster. All the necessary muscles started to move to enact such an act that she was preparing to do, and it didn't take long until everything was in position. Eve just did the last thing and that was to tightly hug Nero. However, this was no ordinary hug that Eve would give to people in the days of old. This was actually the most sincere hug that Eve could ever give to someone, and she hoped to any type of god that this hug would be able to convey the mixed bag of emotions her body is going through at the moment.
Eve - Grand Magic Games

Eve felt her spirit rise as her eyes focused on Nero's grand smile. The gruesome match between Frenzy Plant and Phoenix Wing added with the raising negative feelings after the match made the Necromancer feel quite terrible. When Eve had finally reached Nero through the sea of sitting viewers and his ramblings had started to come out once again, her face was downcast through the horrifying realization that she couldn't smile. Her muscles almost felt like they were resisting the smile that she would give to anyone. Eve had never had the problem of producing a smile, even forcing one if necessary. The ticking time bomb of evil energy and emotions had started once again as the unstable girl couldn't find the will to smile, odd thing to almost have a breakdown.

Once Nero had finally stopped his ramblings and other adventures with the Grand Magic Games, the crazy girl felt like she was going to explode. However, she couldn't really tell if it was going to be dark powers or sadness. So, with the conversation with Time Lord, the vast amount of negative energy that had come from the actions and reactions from Frenzy Plant and Phoenix Wing, and finally not having the ability to smile any longer, Eve just needed to vent to someone before something more drastic than all of those things combined poured out of her. "No... N- No! Everything is not alright!" The Necromancer tried not to make a scene, but it was hard trying not to yell with all the pent up energy inside of her, "I expected these games to be fun, but... but this is not fun at all! Everything is just terrible!" At this point, Eve was just going to let out all of the things she felt at the moment.

"I felt like... Felt like I was going to vomit from what I've just seen. It was like I could almost feel every negative emotion within myself, all the anger, hate, and sadness gnawing away into me. I can't even smile anymore... Me." Eve chuckled madly, and she was about to end her rant but she didn't know how to stop screaming away the rest of her problems, "The whole thing with Time Lord. I mean, how can I make him happy? The only thing that could make him happy was for me to go with him on his journey like he said and leave everyone behind. But... but I can't do that. I don't want to leave you, but I don't want Time Lord sad. I just, I just want..." Eve suddenly felt light heated and stumbled forward slightly. She had forgotten how exhausting it felt having emotions pouring out of herself, and she hadn't even scratched the tip of the barrel yet with that tiny rant. So, Eve just silently tried to use Nero as some sort of support so she wouldn't fall down onto the ground like some sort of klutz.

There are two people named Jack. Mine and Josh's. And the potential third is THE Jack, not just Jack.

Jack the Jester from the Major Arcana. :)
Eve - Grand Magic Games

After the whole talk with Time Lord, she felt weird around him now. The whole talk with leaving people behind and going with him to explore grand places left her feeling strange as he acknowledged that he was sad, but chose to stay that way. People are weird. At least things got a little cleared up after they went to eat something together, but she sadly couldn't hang out with Nero due to the day going away so quickly. However, today was not the day to be missing one of her friends. The entire guild was back at the arena and new challenges awaited the contestants such as mazes? Ugh, is this entire thing just going to be puzzles? They are good for the brain and all, but she would rather just be somewhere else doing something she actually felt that meant something. However, it seemed that everyone loved this kind of stuff including Nero and the entire guild which made her stay due to their excited and happy selves intoxicated her. Things were looking great for her until the fighting started.

Sure, she has seen people fight in her village. However, they always made up at the end with friendship blossoming between the two! At least that is what she always thought that would happen. This time, this wasn't the time for friendship and happiness. Everything was grim, silent, and especially gruesome. The two people fought with such brutal methods that she thought that they were trying to kill each other just to get a win within these games. Eve could barley watch what was happening in front of her eyes, people were actually cheering at this. She couldn't even look for Time Lord or Nero at this time, she was so transfixed on the idea of such a fight going on with people thinking this was for fun!? When the fight was decided after a painful looking move was done to the woman called Hyun, she could feel the anger and hate coming from the guild of Frenzy Plant. The anger, it fueled something else within her. The cheer from herself was draining due to the grim nature of this fight and the current attitude of this place was bound to head into death and chaos. The Necromancer was just about to leave this stadium before something bad could happen before the tension started to go down, relatively.

Frenzy Plant seemed to calm down, their hate and anger seemed to lessen making the mood of the arena lighten up from its previous grim aura. Eve deeply breathed in and then out, she was glad that everything seemed to settle down, but she still felt horrible at the fight that had taken place. She could barley even watch the fight as it might just be worse than the first one. Eve quickly looked for Nero, and he was gone? She could've sworn she had seen him in a nearby stand, she was going to move over to his location after the fight. She continued to look around as some donking noise was sounding in the background as Hyun was being taken away. She needed to not feel horrible again, and Time Lord would just make her feel weird again, she needed to find him. The Necromancer got up from her seat and started to walk for the infirmary. She remembered something about Nero saying that he had met with the guild of Frenzy Plant, maybe he went to pay his respects for the poor woman.

Magni - Grand Magic Games

The Antimage had joined in with the donking, it was the right thing to do for their fallen teammate in such a broken state. He fully knew that the entire guild had felt what he had felt, the deep residing anger for something to happen to that Damian. The anger would not control him, not like before, but it would be easy to get rid of such a mage. All he would have to do is blink in, slit his throat, and then blink out. However, Magni would merely just watch the fight at hand between the other guilds.

Well, that would have been the case until his eyes saw the presence of a great mage meeting up with the guild master of Frenzy Plant. He wasn't sure if anyone else noticed, but it seemed that they were going to talk about the incident that had just taken place. He rarely felt curiosity, but the circumstances that led him to be this riled seem to make him feel more emotional than usual. He was just close enough to listen onto their conversation, the fighting and the cheering were making it rather hard to listen, but years of honing every skill that would assist him in hunting people down made him able to dull down all the sound around him except for the conversation.

Honestly, after listing onto that conversation, Magni personally wanted to smack Jamie up the head and teach her about all the things she had just gotten wrong about Frenzy Plant. He was surprised that Sanders managed to have such discipline into not doing that as that much ignorance would truly be the test of his will. The Antimage was just glad that the shapeshifter had left the presence of Frenzy Plant as Magni was sure more people than him had listened onto that conversation. The Grand Magic Games seemed to be something that Magni never desired to ever go back as everything seemed to be too chaotic between guilds and just the emotion that everyone put into these fights was exhausting to the Antimage. So, he merely just continued watching the fight until it ended with some sort of tie and then someone winning by merely having more points... weak.
No more takers on the Arcana, then...?

<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

Is Damian aware that he must seem like something of an assbag by brutally beating a member of a guild, then confronting the entire guild, then saying that they're only focused on being mad rather than valuing their comrade, then calling them out, when in fact they stopped being super mad to tribute their comrade?

Wait, hold up. Sorry, I've been playing Civ V with my brother for awhile and I forgot to check up on this site. However, I would like to join, I think I'll be getting rid of Sin and Virtue if that is ok with you Caits? Sorry, I lost the inspiration to RP as them awhile ago if you haven't noticed.
Magni - Grand Magic Games

Magni was quite happy with some sort of camping site instead of sleeping on some sort of bed. He had lived most of his life sleeping on the ground and surviving off of what nature would give him. True, it was hard to live in more hazardous areas, but whatever didn't kill the Antimage, it made him stronger. He also didn't really help constructing the camp at all, he mainly just believes that everyone should do their own work for themselves, it seems tedious at first, but it helped Magni become who he is today... Not sure if that is really a good thing though. However, he did sit at the bonfire for quite some time before sleeping, he almost seemed entranced by the blazing fire. Magni almost put his hand into the fire, but it recoiled away as his fingers grazed the beast of destruction. After that little incident, he merely just slept on the ground near the trees, nothing to cushion his sleep and his sleeping pose was quite strange was he was tightly packed in one area. His arms were clamped to his sides, legs almost glued together, and Magni has yet to remove his mask during his sleep which must be uncomfortable at some point.

The Antimage awoke before most could murmur out some words for more sleep. By instinct, Magni messed up his sleeping spot and made it look like no one was sleeping there at all. He spent some time hunting for his own food as usual to his old schedule and spent the rest of the time before the big announcement either eating or cleaning his equipment for there was a little blood splattered across his armor and blades. However, once the horn was finally blown, he followed anyone that seemed to know they were going to General Sanders. The speech was slightly inspiring, but not really enough to get him pumped for fighting for his life inside of a blood soaked arena. Well, he was glad that the fighting had finally started as he can get excited with mortal combat instead of riddles.

When the rounds finally seemed to start, Magni was less interested in the maze as he was merely paying half attention to the entire event. Seriously, when you have fierce warriors, why isn't the entire thing about fighting? It would make things a lot more exciting for the crowd. Well, it seemed like his angry mumbling were finally answered due to the first fight seeming to go ahead and it was... Hyun! And some other guy that he didn't really care about. The Antimage has been quite ecstatic to see the main Frenzy Plant fighters in action, finally to see what he was up against when he battles these titans. The other teams would know the true power of constant training and amazing willpower. So, Magni just got comfortable in his seat as he knew this match was going to be good.

When the battle finally started, his exterior showed no emotion. He just sat there looking over to see the action and his pose was merely his arms crossed together on his chest, almost as if he was judging the entire fight. However, on the inside he was mentally cheering on Frenzy Plant to win the fight. He still had trouble expressing his emotions.

The entire fight was fast, neither would give room for mistake as it would end their careers inside of this glorious tournament. Both seemed to not successfully hit each other for the time that had passed, they seemed to only be blocking, countering, and dodging attacks at the moment. Magni would like to see some wounds on the battle field without them it was merely a spar between two powerful warriors and nothing else. Once again, his thoughts were answered as Hyun finally managed to get the first strike on the opponent, a slice to the knee which would most likely limit his mobility. After that, she went the full mile and sprang a kick straight into the chin! The Antimage smirked under his mask, it was quite easy to see who would win here. The first wound would always determine the victor inside of his fights in the past. The resulting battle seemed almost a constant blur as the two warriors seemed to give it their all inside of the very close quarter fight. Magni peered closer, his arms gripping his chest even harder and his fingers digging into his palms. However, something happened, something bad. The Antimage saw as Hyun was on her knees from a strong kick and within the mercy of her opponent. Magni's eye twitched, his teeth grinding against each other and his mind was telling him that the scene seemed to be familiar. He subconsciously growled out something that was said to him long ago in his childhood. "Get up, get up and kill him."

And right before his eyes, Hyun had lost. The Antimage suddenly stood up, anyone could tell he was seething in rage, every part of his body wanted to rip the head off the winner. Past urges getting inside of his head, the emotion making his mind weak. However, he suddenly went still and started to breath deeply. Magni would not lose control, not in a place like this with so many people. Magni's breathing quivered and soon gradually became calmer with every breath. After that, he sat down as if nothing had just happened with him and crossed his arms for the next round to start.

Today is my birthday. o3o

Happy Burfday. I congratulate you for living for yet another rotation around the sun.
Look at this video I found, hurry.

Eve - Grand Magic Games

The Necromancer looked down upon the ground, the fight going on between the holograms didn't really seem to interest her anymore as the conversation seemed to get more grave. She kicked the dirt around, her mouth shifting a bit with her trying to think of something to say back. She knew that the Time Lord was sad, but it would be hard to make him happy without joining with him. However, her joining the Time Lord would make people sad and her sad. Is her own happiness lesser than others? Should she sacrifice her own for the sake of others? Eve lowered herself, her head resting on her own knees and her arms grabbing her legs.

She stayed silent for a few minutes, her eyes downcast upon the dirt surrounding them, her gaze never meeting with the Time Lord's as her mind was trying to think of something to try to do. "I know you like me, and I know Nero likes me too. I know the two of you would never try to hurt me, were all friends... aren't we?" Eve went silent once again, her mind was spinning from all of this confusion between making everyone happy, "It's like... I know you are sad. And I know I can't leave one of friends sad without doing something. But, I don't know how I can make everyone happy." Eve tightened her grip upon her legs, her eyes starting to water as she was trying to hold back her tears. Eve hasn't had this problem for quite some time. A situation were she couldn't really make everyone happy, and she wasn't taking it very well.

Magni - Grand Magic Games

Magni didn't exactly care for the interruption between the other lump of muscles that joined with the group. The only person that he could really tolerate in the group was the other silent person, Thor. He didn't exactly know anyone in the guild, but Thor seemed to be the most mysterious out of the people he has seen. Enma was just a hunk of muscle, same with the other person and their loudness irritated the Antimage. Of course, he did not express it due to the mask he wore really just blocked most of his facial expressions. However, he could easily express things like anger as strangling or punching someone wasn't exactly the hardest thing to do. However, the group finally seemed to move out and Magni could finally stretch out his legs with a bit of walking.

It didn't take long to find the Frenzy Plant participants in the Grand Magic Games. They looked strong, majestic, and someone that Magni would be honored to fight. Surely, he would be defeated if he ever tried to challenge them, but he knew that he would not go down without some kind of fight. He exhaled heavily as the two groups joined together, Magni still not talking or showing any kind of interest of wherever the group may be heading. As Hyun spoke, one of the people he would be ecstatic to fight, started talking about going to some kind of club, Magni found their destination to be quite displeasing. Clubs usually involved a lot of touching and talking inside of a small amount of space, something that the Antimage found disgusting. Magni sighed, he continued onward with the group.

When they entered, he had to leave his warglaives and his lacarimas with some sort of stranger. He didn't like other people touching his stuff, it was very sacred equipment that only years of training could allow someone to master such skills. However, it seemed that luck was on his side. The place seemed tame, not really much like what his imagination seemed to lead him to believe and the place was mainly filled with the soldiers of Frenzy Plant. Everyone seemed to be sitting apart from each other, each having their own little time alone. Magni stood alone near the entrance, he still had troubles with his little problem of finding another thing to do rather than kill people and training. It seemed that the Antimage literally had no idea how to have fun. So, Magni just sat upon the floor in the chair filled building, trying to contemplate on how to have fun, quite seriously in fact.
Posted! Sorry for not posting as reguarly as I do, been playing some Overlord, Overlord: Raising Hell, and Overlord 2! Very fun games, also with some TF2 mixed in there.
