Name: In her life before her Keeper she was Keilan Liles. Upon being Taken her name was changed for her: Aislinn Eldrel
Gender: Female
Age Taken: 14
Age Escaped: 28
Seeming: Darkling
Kith: Nightsinger
Blessing: Haunting Nocturne
Appearance (Glamor): Her street clothes typically consist of dark tones and light, airy materials. She is often in long skirts or skinny 'jeans' and almost-cosplay worthy medieval or victorian tops. She also almost always has on soft, black leather boots that lace up to the knee. These are what she managed to steal before her escape. Her eyes in this form appear to be a bright, but dark blood-crimson and she is almost too-pale to be real, it seems.
Appearance (No Glamor): This particular Nightsinger has taken on the typical Celtic image of the lovely, yet frightening Banshee. She appears as though she were crying blood and still bears the wounds of her treatment from within Arcadia.
Court: Winter
Personality: Aislinn is quiet and keeps mostly to herself, though as ever music is her singular, shameless love and form of self expression. She is often underestimated as simply antisocial or shy, but in fact she is cunning and calculation- almost always persistent in her scheming and plotting to meet her own ends or the ends given to her by the Winter Court. Her loyalties are scarce outside of her chosen court, but she is fiercely loyal to those she allows close enough to count friends... Or would be, if she had any.
Clarity/Wyrd: 5/7
Glamor: 7

She fought, stole and did anything else necessary for her survival. She did not, however, turn to the drugs she often sold as her own so-called mother had. One of her other, less illegal, activities to earn her living included street performances in which she would sit with her guitar and play and sing four hours. It was one such night, as she was wrapping up her playing and counting the day's money that a shadow overtook her and she blacked out ((no pun intended)) only to awaken in a world far from her own and dressed in rags with her guitar snapped at the neck by her side.
The creature that had taken her was dark, terrible, and hauntingly beautiful. In the first few years of her capture, she was drawn in to a Stokholm Syndrome like state. Punishments were severe when she was seen or heard when she wasn't supposed to or if her tasks weren't accomplished to her new mistress' liking, however she was tenderly nursed back to health after each, horrific and bloodying torture. Her voice and her ability to drift into the shadows and stay out of sight were her saving graces on most occasions.
She was close to her breaking point when a literal bird came to her rescue. Aislinn assumed the small, colorful creature was a shape-shifting fae or changling of sorts, though he never gave a name (she was so very sure it was a he). His kind words brought her back from the brink of her sanity's breaking point. Of course, kind was a word she used loosely on the logical monologue he fed to her at first. She had lost count of the years, days blurring together, long ago. She hardly even noticed the changes being made to her, the scars that covered her new form, still seeming fresh with blood. That colorful, feathered creature that sat in her hand brought her into the present with more clarity than she had felt in ages quite suddenly and that was the point at which she decided it was time to escape.
Using her own abilities, contracted through the surprisingly willing aid of her master while she had still been an obedient puppet, she made about her usual routine the next day. When her song, once again, lulled the fae to her slumber, Aislinn's plan turned full effect. Slipping in to her own room, she snatched up the back she had secretly packed away some of her clothing in to and began to make her way out past the Fae's defenses and guards. It was only a few short days before she found herself in the Hedge, appearing as a great expanse of Moor. Time in the Hedge seemed to twist in her mind before she finally forged her own, rather small and quickly vanishing, path back in to the world of Iron.
When she found herself in Leeds, England and discovered that fourteen and a half years had past she was shocked. Following rumors of other Changlings, never bothering to even dream of going back to the harsh back alleys she had scraped survival from in Dublin, she found herself in the midst of a Winter Court gathering. Since then she has worked and lived among them, firmly agreeing with their stand on the Fae and changelings. However, one day, she wishes to find the male that appeared to her as a small bird in her most desolate hour and thank him.
