Hmm, there's two things I see that maybe an issue. The first off is her age, she appears very young for a sergeant in the Soviet Union at this time, mostly because during this time soldiers would be much older as there was an overall need for more manpower and forces. Thus, I doubt they would get someone so close to almost a teenager to be a sergeant. Maybe bump up her age just a bit?
Also, while Kursk is a region in the Soviet Union, it would be very hard to explain how she was around during one of the biggest tank battles before this battle in the war. Unless, she was born in the city of Oblast. Was she born there prior to the war? Did she have any connections with the Red Revolution?
