Alexander chuckled and picked Rosline up. "I got ya. Let's go." Alexander said after he received the kiss on his chin. He was surprised but liked the gesture. He carried her to the river. He undid the straps of the armor and removed his shirt after setting her down. The water was cool, soothing Alexander's sore, cut skin.
@Always It's alright. Take all the time you need to get in the mood. Apologies for whatever has been going on for you.
@Gelatinous Cube We can skip if you'd like. It doesn't matter too much to me.
Alexander smirked hearing Rosline's request to wash up, nodding in agreement. He then helped her stand up after she stumbled onto him. He smiled and eventually put an arm around her to prop her up a bit. He listened to Crim and Leo as he arrived to them. He then helped Rosline up, knowing she was in deep pain. He then watched in slight confusion as Leo left, not sure what to do or say.
Alexander was about to carry Rosline, wanting to take the easy way out instead of her leaning on him. He manned up and let her do as she pleased. "Yes. Let's go." Alexander said. He looked down at himself, noticing how dirty he was. He had dirt and dust on his skin along with spots of blood and other bodily fluids like sweat. He smelled of war, hard work, and "manliness" in his words. He couldn't even remember whose blood was whose, unable to identify any major injuries on himself. He had some of Rosline's blood on his hands, but that was all he knew. He shrugged the topic and continued to Crim.
@N3vr3ndinBordom Yup. Just make sure to check for which positions are open/taken.
Jake nodded and pointed to the road in front of him. "Alright. Tomorrow, we should push forward. There's a military base a few miles out, but we shouldn't try anything unless we're either sure no one in there or have enough firepower to take out any hostiles inside. Sound good?" He asked his group. He wasn't used to having the role as a "leader", if he was even considered a leader to them. He looked around at the group, trying to get a consensus on what everybody wanted to do. "Anybody else have another idea?"
Dmitri looked around as he heard voices nearby, searching around an empty house for supplies. He sniffed once, the smell of death and depression filling his nose. He took his baseball bat out, spotting a male with his back turned to him. He hid against a wall and peeked out a window, trying to find the second voice. He pulled up his red bandana over his mouth and nose before walking to where he heard somewhere enter the same house he was in. He then grabbed an empty glass bottle to try and make a distraction if necessary.
