"A decade of death for a millennium of life."
The history of the grand and diverse confederacy began long ago, and involves the trials and tribulations of the many Hokkan, Shirito, Helroxi, Fusanese, and Mashiran peoples. And though their tales are great, the most important events begin a mere two decades ago.
-The Hokkan Empire was a decently sized nation, and utterly massive compared to most of its neighbors. Hokkan had won the land with her formerly large population and many warriors, but natural disasters such as earthquakes pushed part of its population to emigrate.
-The Dokkan Shogunate was a small nation with a people that, due to the immigration of a few million Hokkan throughout the years for various reasons, were all Hokkan but mixed with other ethnicities to varying degrees. It was militaristic to the point of hiring out its army as mercenaries of the utmost quality, which in turn brought in most of the nations revenue for it had very little natural resources to speak of.
