Ok cool, just edited it. If you want you can PM me because I had no idea that Blade had even trained Spider-Woman until you mentioned it. And nah, I don't mind him being "tied down"- I think it'd be pretty dope actually to have the mentor / apprentice thing.

Weaknesses - Addiction to blood (but he's devised a special serum he takes daily to prevent him from going on rampage)

Personality- Bold, Determined, Badass
Brief Bio- Eric Brooks, the man later known as Blade, was born in 1929. His father, Lucas Cross, a member of the secret society the Order of Tyrana, sent his pregnant wife Tara to England before he was taken prisoner in Latveria. There she took the name Vanessa Brooks and found shelter with brothel owner Madame Vanity, another member of the Order of Tyrana. Experiencing labor complications, Tara was forced to seek a doctor's assistance. The doctor, Deacon Frost, was actually a ravenous vampire and feasted on the woman as she gave birth, passing on a series of enzymes that altered her baby. The enzymes entered the infant's bloodstream, transforming him into a Dhampir - a being tainted by a vampire's kiss, but not converted. In other words half-man, half-vampire. Frost was driven away before he could slay the child, but Tara perished, leaving the orphaned Eric Brooks to be raised at Madame Vanity's brothel.
While he was growing up, he ran into American veteran Vampire Slayer, Jamal Afari and saved him from being killed by vampires with a grudge against the old man.
Afari soon learned about Eric and his origins' and decided to take him under his wing, becoming his mentor and foster-father and helped him to control his powers. Afari taught Eric everything he knew about hunting, fighting and killing vampires.
Determined to avenge his mother's death, Eric fashioned himself into a vampire hunter like Afari while still a teenager and started calling himself Blade, after the sharp weapons with which he used to kill vampires with.
Finally Blade and Afari split up when Jamal willingly took the fall for murder when Blade accidentally killed a man (who was suffering from a deranged illness), which he mistook for being a vampire.
After stalking the night on his own for a number of years, Blade became leader of a small band of like-minded individuals hunting Dracula. He first encountered the dark lord in Japan, after many months of searching. Blade lured Dracula into an ambush, and the vampire was slain with a wooden stake. However, Dracula soon was resurrected by his servants and exacted revenge by murdering Blade's entire band of vampire hunters.
Blade pressed on, often fighting alongside a team led by Quincy Harker, the great vampire hunter. The company's members included Rachel van Helsing and Frank Drake. Later, Blade teamed with vampiric private eye Hannibal King to hunt down and destroy Frost. Blade, King and Drake helped Dr. Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts and Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, cast a spell that destroyed Dracula and all the vampires on the planet. Following their victory, King was cured of his vampirism. Subsequently, he and King formed a private-investigation firm.
Sometime afterwards, Blade had received a contract for a specific vampire which inevitably lead him into contact with the vampire's then girlfriend Jessica Drew (more commonly known as Spider-Woman). Blade's managed to slice the vamps arm off but the vamp managed to kidnap Jessica to a place he thought was safe- only to be exploded by Jessica because of her uncontrolled fear due to the situation. The incident was witnessed by a local law-enforcement officer and she was accused of witchcraft and murder. Jessica fled from an enraged mob into the countryside and into the arms of Blade who took her back to his base.
Blade trained her in the ways of Vampire Hunting, martial arts, espionage, Her tactics integrated different methods utilized in Karate, Boxing, Capoeira, Judo and sword-fighting. Over their many years working together, other powers seemed to make themselves known, such as her Wall-Crawling, Venom blasts and Super-Senses, Blade nicknaming her "Spider-Girl" After many years of fighting alongside him, they finally caught the attention of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division of the United States Military. The Vampires set a trap for Blade and Jessica to get them onto S.H.I.E.L.D.'s wanted list, by tricking them into killing a number of their familiars in full view of the public, using their super-powers. They were hounded, every corner seemed to have a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent around it, they split up to better hide. Unfortunately, this meant that they could no longer count on each other for assistance. Jessica was quickly captured and brought before Nick Fury.
Notes- He's currently in search of Spider-Woman, wandering the streets, while being pursued by the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

~Without much hesitation, Damian extends his wings and leaps forward in front of the red-headed cashier before him in a bold effort to protect her. Bullets ping off his black wings and he kicks the gun out of the drunkards hands. As the drunkard tries to make an escape, Vulture swoops over the aisles and lands atop the perpetrator with his steel-toe boots. The drunken man tries putting up a fight landing a few jabs in but Vulture counters with a powerful kick sending the assailant flying across the supermarket and into shelves of assorted snacks. With the drunk down for the count, Vulture hurries back to his groceries but stops dead in his tracks when he starts hearing sirens from the distance. He waves the shaken cashier goodbye to no response and flies out the store- ... just another day.
