I'll keep this short and sweet, maybe. I've been roleplaying since I was 14 back on the forums of some old zombie browser game and have had a soft spot for it ever since. I like to believe I've gotten at least a bit better over the years, but I still find myself shying away from the Advanced RP's. Was a member on Oldguild for around a year before the fall, but have been on-again-off-again with the new site for about the same time. Have tried other places, but I soon grew tired of them and find my way back here. I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and sometimes slice of life RP's, though I'm not a fan of doing canon RP's, as I like making my own characters. This isn't to say I don't like playing in fandom worlds, as I love them, but just not playing as one of the actual characters from whatever show/book/movie/comic it's from.
Outside of all that I'm currently enrolled in college and work full time in the receiving department of a warehouse.

Bit of a Centrist as far goes as American politics. I feel I lean a bit more to the left, as I'm all for the progressive push when it comes to education, sexuality, and advancements. However, I believe the immigration problem needs to be tackled and handled with more care, as well as believing that the right to bear arms shouldn't be infringed upon with stupid control instead of real gun control.

I've stepped away from RPing for a few months now, but I'm looking to get back into the game. What kind of RP are you looking at for this? A canon RP where we are involved with Dean, Sam, and Castiel? A hunter RP where we're just hunters? Or maybe a Men of Letters RP? Just wondering, as there are many ways to take this and not a lot of info given on direction.

I do believe the Germanic tribes were conquered by the Romans. However, if we're stepping into the realm of historic fiction, the Romans never went toe-to-toe with the Mongols.

A bit of historic fiction is always right up my alley. I like the idea given by Killjoy, what with maybe a few houses vying for control after the death of an heirless emperor or maybe the senate is in a volatile state as the current emperor does nothing as an unknown horde (mongols, vikings, etc) ravages the outer territories. Just some ideas.
