Just saw that movie Lone Survivor and WOW......just wow. Powerful, moving film. *blinks* was hard to watch, especially towards the end when they showed the picture of the REAL people.....made it very hard NOT to tear up, lemme tell u
That was a great film, probably one of the best war movies ever made. I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up at the end as well. However, for a movie that rips your tears out from you, I'd recommend "12 Years A Slave". The only movie to actually make me cry, not just well up or have single tear go down my face, but straight up waterfalls. Such an emotional film. Gonna have to go watch something funny now just thinking about it., haha.

In high school I wrote the best persuasive paper of my whole life. We had to pick a side on the death penalty, so I chose Pro. Everyone else wrote about the costs, whether it was a deterrent or not ect. and both sides just found arguments that supported their own points (we all had to read our papers out loud in that class). All I did was find the 5 most horrific serial killers of all time and wrote about all of the terrible things they did and then in my conclusion I asked if anyone in the class would stand up to defend their right to live.Nobody said a word. The lesson I learned there is that when you want to really make a good point, citing statistics means nothing, go for the emotional response.
Reminds me of my senior year in high school in Economics class. My teacher picked the two she felt were the best for each side, asked us to stand up in front of the class, and then debate/state our cases. I was against it, she was for it. They were all silent when I finished. Don't want to start an argument on here, so I'll leave it at that.
