The world was weird. Anything could happen, from sudden deaths to resurrections, to even witnessing the spice of life. Maybe both, though as far as I'm concerned, that's only happened once...
So yeah, the world was weird. The structures looked frozen in time, seemingly stopping growth and inversion after Celes placed back the void crystal on its pedestal. There was something awfully familiar with these structures... they were giant monoliths, with glass all around and with metal frames. Some were missing chunks and leaning at impossible angles, some had looked like their top half was ripped straight off. Coloured metal boxes kept moving forwards, only to repeat the same movement with the... wheels or something underneath, as if resetting. Strangest of all, the water around was warmer than usual, if not a bit... windy? There was something very creepy about that place, whether that be 'corruption' of the world or something more sinister. It was probably sinister, since I saw bright flashes occur in the distance. Not like light, but... clouds, almost going at the speed of light, only to vanish upon getting a good look at them. The place was almost sickening, literally, despite the lack of anything remotely organic. Quite familiar... maybe Davis would have an idea on what was all this.
Regardless, we had nearly killed the duo. That was all that mattered. "Right then. Let's bring those bastards back to the guild. Thankfully, we're not the ones nearly dead this time." And so, taking off my badge, I had indented a button intended to teleport us back to the guild. I was hoping that the darn corruption wouldn't screw up the badge, or worse. "Ready when you say so, guys."
