Shadow finished his surgery but knew that he would pass out from the blood loss soon. he grunted as he cut the thread and then stood up. he put the thread and needle away. he walked to the edge of the building and then climbed down. he walked up the street on his way to the local pub to try and get a room before he passed out but he only made it half way there when the world went black and he fell to the ground face first. he knew that if a guard found him he would be killed. but if Celaena found him he knew that much worse could happen to him. she had tried to exile him once before but he had managed to find his way back. this time he would be weakened and unsure of how far he can go before he pushes himself to death.

Shadow made his way through the city until he found the guild building. with one look he was taken back to the past times he had been here. he shook his head and then walked on by the guild. he had put himself on bad terms with the guild head and thought that he should stay away for a while longer just in case she still wanted to kill him for the way he had treated her when she tried to train him years ago. he had been stuck up and didn't think he could lose. typical for his age but when he was almost killed he learned that he could and would one day die on a mission if he was not better trained and more careful. the pain in his shoulder was only getting worse. he pulled the fabric out of the wound and checked it. he could see the bone almost. this told him the reason the pain was so bad. the wound was much worse than he had thought. he ducked into an ally and climbed to the roof. he took out the small bag he hid in his cloak and then got out some thread and a needle. he had to fix the wound quickly or he would bleed to death before he could get to his target. he set to work on his quick fix for the wound.

As shadow got to the top of the wall he looked out over the city to try and spot the building that he was looking for. he found it and then started his climb back down the wall again. the pain in his shoulder was getting worse so he sighed and made up his mind to stop at the guild and see if they have any thing he can use to stop the blood.

Shadow walked away from the circle of dead guard with a shrug. " i warned you to not mess with me." he winced as the cut on his shoulder flared up. they had found one of the few weak points on his armor. he moved on toward the castle and noticed that he was again being followed. he rolled his eyes and then slipped into an ally to evade who ever was following him. he heard several more guards run by. he climbed up to the roof and kept on his way to his target. if anyone else got in his way he would solve that problem as it came. he wonder how Celaena was doing at the moment as he reached the castle walls and started his climb.

Shadow was behind all the elite guards and was working his way around them when one turned and looked at him. he cursed his luck and wondered what had set the guard off. without even giving the guard time to open his mouth Shadow slammed him to the ground and rammed his sword through his throat. with that done he stood up and then sighed. he was surrounded and that just pissed him off. " look you want to try this again or should we just go on with our days." all the guards around him drew their blades. " have it your way but i wont lose to you ." they rushed him and he started killing them one by one. his new armor was doing its job well enough.

Shadow slipped out the back of the ally and kept on moving towards his current target. he knew that this one would be a good test of his skills. the other assassins in the city wouldn't even try this target from what he had heard. he smiled as he saw the Elite guards moving away from the castle. he set his targets picture in his mind and started his hunt.

Shadow noticed the person jump down to land behind him. he never gave them a sign that he knew they were there. he walked with the crowd and then slipped into a side ally. he let one of his daggers slide into his hand just in case anyone follows him.

Shadow walked into the city and then turned to Kalin " See you when ever you fix the mess you made this time. i have things to do here anyways." he then walked away deeper into the city making sure to stick with large groups of people so that he didn't have to deal with any of the guards. Kalin smiled and turned away from the city so that he didn't have risk having anyone try to kill his this time.

" kid i hate having to leave you in this place but there is not much more that i can teach you when i'm wanted dead on sight. but i know that there are people here that will train you while i'm gone." Shadow sighed and walked a bit faster to get away from kalin and his stupid need to talk to him. Shadow liked being alone ever since his parents had been killed.
