Shadow kept walking through the streets and saw people getting onto ships. he noticed the guards around look at him and knew right away that they had seen his sword on his back. he shook his head and then turned to try and find his way out of this fine mess. he was currently to weak to take on all of these guards on his own. the guards started to slowly make their way towards him to make it look like they were just moving on. he sighed and then tossed the hood off of his head to show his face. as soon as the guards looked at him they stopped their slow movement and started to run at him. he waited and rolled under them and then ran towards the ships. he looked around as he ran trying to find his way out of this. he could hear the guard yelling behind him.

Shadow woke up a while later and stood up. he felt a lot better. he took out some gold and then left it on the table for the doctor to get when he comes back. he walks outside and stretches. he grunts a bit as his shoulder flashes with pain. he checks that he has all his items and then starts to walk down the paths to the local tavern. he soon finds himself out in the open with few people around and he just hopes that he isn't found by guards when he is in a bit of a weakened state.

Shadow looked at the piece of paper that he had been given. after reading it a few times he sighed. The guild was the best thing that had happened to him and people were still out there trying to betray all that it stood for. he put on his armor and then strapped his sword to his back. he did a quick glance at the paper once more and then walked out of the door. he stepped out onto the roof of the tavern that he was staying in at the moment. he knew the names of his targets and where they would be. he didn't care who they were now. all they were to him is a mark to kill. he set out to get some more info on his targets. he found their exact locations from one of his local informants so he started on his way to hunting them down. the first of the two target that he had been given that he found was Alena Carthenwald. if things were different she would have been pretty to him but at the moment he didn't care about looks. he knew not to let himself get distracted when hunting a target. he slipped down behind her quietly but she must have heard him because she turned with a blade in hand trying to slit his throat. he ducked low and then with a flash drew his own sword. he rose and blocked her next few attacks and then shouldered her into the wall to stun her so that he could finish this quickly. with another flash he cut her stomach open so that she would bleed to death quickly. he took her weapons as proof of the kill and then walked off to find the next target. a few hours later he found Dallis Ali the kid was busy hiding in an ally to try and keep from being killed was Shadow's best guess. he didn't know and was ready for this. he jumped down with his sword drawn. he then stepped forward and kicked Dallis Ali in the back to knock him over. what happened next pissed him off. first the dummy that he had just kicked fell over and the real Dallis Ali jumped down and tried to pin and slice his armor off. Shadow was able to roll out from under him and get back to his feet and then slammed his fist into the kids face. the blow broke the kids nose and gave shadow the time to ram his sword through his neck to finish it. he again took the weapons and then went back to his room to wait for the payment to get there.

Shadow stumbled back up the road and away from the guild. he knew that no one in the guild would be willing to help him. he kept on moving up the road towards an old looking building that he knew held one of the few contacts that he had in the city. he knocked on the door and when it opened he went in and then took off the shirt of his armor. he let the doctor look at his wound and then explained his thoughts of him being poisoned. he fell asleep as the doctor got to work on trying to help him.

Shadow again found himself floating in his own mind. he shook his head and came back to the real world. he then heard all the sounds around him. he growled at himself and then rolled over and using his good arm forced himself to his feet. he found his strength again and just as he rose to his full height he saw the guild lights clear and focused in his vision. he shook his head and then looked at his shoulder. he didnt feel anything from it but he knew that was the poison. " Well shadow looks like you screwed it up again. this time you went and got an new poison good job" he said to himself.
